Chapter 66: Oppressive Power

"Do you want to fight us? How dare you touch a noble?" Darian smacked away Leon’s hand and assumed a fighting stance. Magical energy gathered around him, indicating his conviction.

Leon backed away in a surprised manner and reminded Darian. "Young master, you are a noble, so you might not be familiar with the rules. But fighting is prohibited in the capital. I cautiously warn you, stop using your magical energy."

The bystanders also backed away as they didn’t want to get caught in the aftermath and injure themselves.

Pooland also came forward and warned. "Young master, please calm down. You can’t be this stupid to fight in the capital. Or we might have to apprehend you."

Leon, standing beside Pooland, looked at him in a new light. ’Brother... This ragebait...is immaculate. You actually learned to do so effortlessly.’

What Leon didn’t know, Pooland genuinely thought Darian was stupid! Someone with a brain wouldn’t dare to break the law in broad daylight.

"You! How dare you call me stupid!" Darian shouted in anger. He raised his right hand from the bottom and said. "Water Prison."

Water began oozing out of the ground and circled around Leon and Pooland. In a blink of an eye, the water circle shot up, wanting to encapsulate them.

However, at that moment, electrical sparks started to appear on Leon’s legs.

"Lightning Steps"

Leon’s body flashed, disappearing from the spot. He appeared outside of the water column with Pooland in his hand.

Rumble.

As if lightning struck the land, Leon stopped and put down Pooland.

"He really attacked us!?" Gaining his footing, Pooland breathed a sigh of relief and stared at Darian, astonished.

"Young master," Leon said with a grave tone. "You initiated an attack on the streets of the capital. I have to arrest you for your crime."

Meanwhile, Darian was a little surprised to see a city guard dodge his attack so easily. One has to know he was at Adept-Rank.

On the other hand, most of the city guards were newly recruited. So most of them should be at Apprentice-Rank. But to be able to dodge his attack so effortlessly, Leon had to be at the Adept-Rank, just like him.

’How did a city guard reach Adept-Rank so fast!?’ Not just Darian; even the other young masters were surprised.

But now it wasn’t the time to act like this, as Leon was slowly approaching them to apprehend.

"Everyone! Quickly defeat him! The family will take care of the aftermath." Darian quickly ordered others who nodded their heads.

Leon smirked, looking at everyone gathering their magical energy to fight him. ’Am I that scary? You know, I am just a simple MILF-loving young man.’

Seeing the large fluctuation of magical energy, the bystanders knew the fight had escalated. So they hurried to scatter away.

Leon also saw this and understood he had to finish this swiftly. So he pulled out the skill that was perfectly suited for this situation.

"Everyone, he uses thunder magic. So beware of his speed." Darian gave one last warning before the start of their fight.

Everyone nodded their head and cautiously watched Leon’s movement.

Leon smiled, thinking of the surprise gift they were about to receive.

Leon pointed his two fingers downwards and swiped upwards. "Ice Prison."

Snow-white ice blocks rose from the ground, encompassing the young masters in a matter of seconds.

"Wha—"

Darian’s voice cut off in the middle. But from his widened, shocked expression inside the ice block, one could guess how surprised he was.

Everyone else was also shocked by the swift display of power. They thought it would be an intense fight, with both sides injured gravely in a brutal struggle. However, it was a complete massacre, and it came from the guy who was solo.

"Now, to pick them up." Leon didn’t pay any heed to the people surrounding him, as they were safe now. Instead, he rubbed his chin and pondered on how he could bring them back to the barracks.

"Hey, Pooland. Bring Uncle Lu Sheng’s carts, and remember to put them on the commander’s tab."

"Ok...okay..." Pooland nodded his head subconsciously and walked away in a daze. He never imagined his brother, who was obsessed with scoring MILFs, had become so strong. He had also not seen him research or train any time.

’Have I been slacking off?’ Pooland contemplated while walking toward Uncle Lu Sheng’s to borrow some ox cart.

"Really!? So, I can also become stronger if I begin loving women?" Piniard asked curiously, with a hint of hope in his voice.

"Of course. Also, it had to be only mature, old women! You understand, Brother Piniard?" Leon said sternly, looking at Piniard with pride.

"I understand, brother. Thank you for imparting your divine knowledge." Piniard religiously took in Leon’s words. To become stronger and never get humiliated by the nobles, he would believe anything.

Leon patted Piniard’s shoulder and nodded his head in appreciation. "Children are teachable."

However, Leon’s words were not only taken by Piniard. A considerable number of bystanders extended their ears and listened, noting Leon’s advice in their mind.
