Chapter 2068: Order and Disorder (IV)

Elsewhere in the chaos.

The eastern region.

The Human King and Supreme Zhang both looked at the north. A frown crossed Fang Ping’s face as he didn’t say a word.

“Is that... a clash between order and disorder?” asked the supreme. Chaos Sky and the Disorder master?

“That was fast!” The Human King nodded after some thought. He turned his attention back to the supreme, ignoring the obvious battle.

“This is beyond our abilities to get involved in.” The supreme smiled wryly, prompting Fang Ping to resume deep thought.

“It doesn’t matter if we get involved or not,” he suddenly said. “I’m just asking... if New Martial is the source of disorder or a representative of order?”

“It’s hard to say,” the supreme answered thoughtfully. “I believe that they coexist together, that they do not exist alone. If they did, there would be no separation of order and disorder!”

The Human King just seemed to be satisfying his curiosity and asked no further. Am I in the camp of order or disorder?

I’m actually in... neither!

“Both order and disorder do not represent New Martial,” Fang Ping suddenly grinned. “New Martial represents... Wherever I am is New Martial! There is no order, no disorder, no rules. There is only me!”

“You’re tyrannical, alright!” The supreme couldn’t help but laugh.

“Damn straight I am!” The Human King rose to his feet. “Ignore that. We will neither watch nor ask about them. Today, the east will be fully unified. Whoever that does not bend the knee will be executed! The four regions will be entirely sealed off. Either they leave or they die!”

He brandished his blade with a yell. “The east is mine, all worlds are to bow their heads! Follow me... in conquest!”

Exalted emperors appeared one after another in the surroundings.

New Martial marched to conquer the region!

The four regions.

Long Zhan looked toward the depths of the chaos as he sensed everything. Are you starting, Chaos Sky?

The four regions were surrounded on all sides. He couldn’t leave, but couldn’t afford to not leave.

“The north has been thrown into turmoil. The war of the chaos has officially begun!” intoned the dragon. “Follow me out of the four regions to save all of the chaos race. Those worlds that enslave our race shall be annihilated!

“We will take advantage of the hostilities to fully gather together! The clouds will part and light finally shine upon us when we are of one heart!”

He would not participate in the battle, but he would lead his people to liberate all chaos race cultivators.

The spirit of the great dao trembled, pointing him in the appropriate direction.

“Where the dao spirit points is where those of our race are.” Long Zhan looked at the people standing behind him. “They await rescue. Only in saving ourselves can we grow stronger. Follow me!”

A group of formidable chaos beasts shot into the void, following their leader.

The disturbances in the north and east might turn into a chance for the chaos race to thoroughly grow stronger.

The southern region.

Spring Autumn flashed an impish grin that looked perfectly at home on her child-like face. She suddenly looked to the west.

“They’ve started fighting...” the girl murmured. She didn’t seem the least bit interested in vying for supremacy over the universe. It was like she didn’t have any desires at all.

She simply raged against the injustice of her fate!

“The reversal of heaven and earth, the redistribution of spirit...” she smiled faintly. “Races will no longer exist when the chaos is shattered... then my race can be redefined again!”

Two dimples appeared on her chubby cheeks when she smiled. Countless shadows appeared behind her, all of them her.

Spring Autumn disappeared when she took a step in the void. Her movements could not be tracked.

No one knew what this powerhouse, one who’d risen to her station from a position of weakness, was fighting for in all these years. She always seemed to be gallivanting through the chaos and simply enjoying life. The little girl could be found everywhere.

Little did they know that Spring Autumn’s ambitions had long exceeded the struggle between overlords.

She wanted to reverse the chaos, break the fetters of race, and redefine the chaos. There was no law that cicadas could only live for one season. It would be very hard to accomplish her goal, but so what?

Spring Autumn vanished in the south with a smile on her face.

At the same time, the western region.

Li Hao could also sense the ripples in the void. The formidable order that filled the west was shaking. Some within Chaos Sky major world sensed it as well. Domineering presences rose into the stratosphere, seeking to exert pressure in all directions.

Weaklings went about their usual lives in complete ignorance. They swanned through bliss contentment, wearing only those faintly hypocritical smiles on their faces. It was extremely hard to determine which smiles were real, and which were fake.

Li Hao, however, didn’t move. He simply watched, extended his senses, and mulled over his perception.

A massive battle had broken out in the north. It was one between Chaos Sky and Disorder, and also a struggle for expansion between their two daos. Who would emerge victorious?

For the moment, Li Hao leaned toward Chaos Sky...

Disorder, perhaps you should come and take a look at the west. Only then might you understand that Chaos Sky... could be the greatest source of disorder!

I could only sense a thing or two after visiting myself. What a pity... that you didn’t come.

The dao of order grew ever more pure in the west. Something seemed to be disappearing from it, influencing even Li Hao with a faint sense of peace. The desire circling in his heart seemed to be greatly dismissed.

The western region was a horrifying place.

The north.

Dao strength ebbed and flowed in forceful fashion as disorder and order faced off against each other. Chaos Sky... did not seem to measure up to Disorder. Order was not being built as swiftly as it was destroyed.

Worlds were born and worlds were extinguished. The firmament constantly changed color as light and dark clashed against each other!

Disorder fought without expression. He wasn’t delighted by his slight edge over Chaos Sky. There was only a harsh glint in his eyes, like he wasn’t fighting Chaos Sky at all.

Rules of disorder shook, spirit erupted.

An age of disorder seemed to rise from the four corners.

“My dao is the source of the chaos!” Disorder punched with a soft murmur. Worlds exploded as disorder erupted.

Chaos Sky rapidly backed away, maintaining complete composure. Endless dao strength transformed into soldiers, raising shields and surrounding disorder, preventing it from spreading further.

A character abruptly appeared in Chaos Sky’s hand.

“Freeze!” The character came alive. It rather resembled Li Hao’s supernatural characters!

The character came down over the scene, pacifying the unrest in the chaos. Endless dao strength transformed the unordered into order, compelling the energy to stay within the worlds.

Disorder looked at Chaos Sky with surprise.

“Just a bit of inspiration from others,” Chaos Sky answered calmly. “Things are different now, Disorder! The times are different.”

He seemed to be saying that this was no longer the same era that it’d been a million years ago.

“Although the times change, great dao is still great dao,” laughed Disorder. “People are still people, powerhouses are still powerhouses. The chaos is still the chaos, nothing has changed!”

“Incorrect. What is old still dies off!” Chaos Sky roared with laughter. “A new order is about to be established. You are old and decrepit, Disorder!”

Light erupted, as scintillating as the most radiant sun!

The entire chaos was suddenly illuminated and swathes of disorder began decaying. It was a scene of winter withering and spring flourishing. Chaos Sky... seemed to be borrowing from the daos of the other overlords.

Despite the splintering of disorder, the Disorder master sneered. This was still disorder, even when shattered.

It took just another moment before endless dao strength flourished with new life. Immensely domineering order suddenly reawakened amid the heart of disorder.

Boom!

The worlds were rebuilt and everything changed. For a split second, there were no worlds.

Instead, the barriers of the nine layers rose. Innumerable dao rules seemed to turn into uncountable replicas. They built an incredible set of barriers that surrounded Disorder.

Revitalization from destruction!

Only now did Disorder’s eyes widen slightly. He whistled sternly, summoning his black dragon of a myriad daos. A dragon howl echoed in the vicinity.

“This is an era of mayhem and trouble! When the people’s hearts are disrupted, the worlds and the chaos are in turmoil! Order is just a tiny corner of the universe!”

Boom!

A dragon of a myriad daos furiously rammed the barriers. Too many replicas of order to count broke apart.

There was no immediate victor in sight as the two sides exchanged blows. Overwhelming strength stretched in the four corners, overshadowing an immense battle below.

The elemental envoys were attempting to surround the Nine Layer Guard, yet the shadows pierced through the encirclement like they were sharp blades. The five powerhouses that’d battled Long Zhan were able to maintain their formation, despite the strong offensive from the guard!

Skymetal and his two brothers were also under attack from many guards. Each of the guards were so domineering that even the northern overlords found it hard to break through the blockade.

In fact, the northern overlords looked to be on the losing side.

Several dozen high rank presences exploded. The entire ninth layer shook, as if about to be blown up. The presence of disorder wafted through the north.

The eastern region quaked without end at the same time. The perpetuation of turmoil in the east heightened the strength of disorder. As that energy traveled to the north, Disorder smiled from his vantage point.

Disorder defined the chaos!

His clash with Chaos Sky today would induce the other regions to make their moves as well. That would add to the general pandemonium throughout the chaos. Propagating order was hardly as simple as disorder.

Chaos Sky was fated to lose!
