Chapter 2074: The Mayhem of Battle (III)

A turbulent presence developed over Chaos Sky, creating an even bigger draw for the energy of disorder around him. He disappeared in a clap of thunder. There was even tribulation energy around him!

A weapon appeared in his hand... another book.

The book of darkness!

It was stronger than the Heaven’s Stratagem. This was the Tome of Chaos Sky! The dao of a chaotic age!

A motley disarray of energy exploded, blowing holes in the chaos. Disorder’s great dao swayed and his strength began to recede. He watched sternly through narrowed eyes.

He’d destroyed order faster than his opponent could build at first, but now Chaos Sky had also become a wielder of disorder. If he destroyed more order, that would only strengthen his opponent.

Disorder smiled and looked into the depths of the universe. “You guys see it too. He’s... even more disorderly than me. I may not be able to stand against his current form.”

Chaos Sky appeared and smashed the book down, dismissing Disorder’s strength.

“They can’t come! If they did, they would be ordinary eighth ranks. Every single one of them will die. Do you think they’ll come and save you?”

Disorder continued to back away as his strength crumbled. His immense body shuddered and broke apart!

A large avenue appeared over his head—the dao of disorder!

He seemed fully awakened in this moment, drawing large sums of energy toward him when the dao appeared. Currents of power swept through the premises and shattered the blockade imposed by the Tome of Chaos Sky.

That was the might of a ninth rank, one whose primary body had returned. He could absorb endless chaos strength from chaos dao to maintain his body. The stronger his spirit, the more he could absorb.

He didn’t have quite enough spirit at the moment, but could absorb enough to prevent his body from being rapidly defeated!

He suddenly looked deep into the north, at where Five Elements major world was. The look in Disorder’s eyes shifted and he abruptly smiled, shaking the four corners with tremendous chaos strength.

Boom!

The powerhouses watching the fight gasped when they sensed something. Disorder suddenly dove from above, as did Chaos Sky with a cold snort.

There was no place for Disorder to run to!

Although Disorder fled for his life, cool composure flickered in the bottom of his eyes. His might was poised to erupt as he brought it down around him.

“Five elemental envoys, Skymetal, and the rest, lend me your strength!” His voice was so chilling that it was like he was sealed in ice.

Numbness crawled over their scalps! You’re a ninth rank, but being sent packing by Chaos Sky. What’s going on here??

Chaos Sky’s presence was so evil as he chased Disorder that it made all of the hairs rise on the backs of their necks.

Despite their discomfort, they couldn’t afford to have Disorder die at this juncture. Skymetal roared and erupted with strength, forcing back a group of Nine Layer Guards and taking the other eighth ranks toward Disorder.

When Disorder’s presence enveloped them, a domain appeared and enveloped everyone within it. It included even Chaos Sky, who was in hot pursuit.

Chaos Sky frowned slightly, summoning the Tome of Chaos Sky. It flared with incomparable killing intent, likewise enshrouding his targets.

Outside Five Elements major world.

Yuan Shuo had been waiting all this time. His eyes suddenly brightened. They were all... trapped!

This was his chance!

Although they’d been locked in battle before, they also had the option of disengaging at any moment. But with Disorder and Chaos Sky landing amid the fray, even those of Five Elements major world wouldn’t be able to free themselves now.

That meant this was his opportunity!

“......” There were two eighth ranks on duty outside the world gates. Instead of being Five Elements locals, they were from another major world.

The two exchanged glances, wondering who... was this?

The strength of disorder?

They then looked at the battlefield in the distance, confused and wary!

Who was this?? If that was the disorder master over there, then... who was this one?

His presence wasn’t that strong!

There were also many Five Elements seventh ranks on the scene. One of them hesitated, then transmitted excitedly, “Is it... the venerated one’s replica?”

Yuan Shuo breathed out with some relief. The worst would’ve been if no one was aware of the situation. Since someone was, that made everything much easier. “It’s me. Hurry up and let me in. Disorder’s suddenly flared with strength and my primary body is not yet fully recovered. I’ll have issues facing him...”

Those at the world gates jerked with dismay. Would even a ninth rank have trouble against their enemy?

The other two eighth ranks were here on behalf of Skymetal. They looked at the other Five Elements heavyweights and quickly transmitted, “Is this one... the venerated one’s replica?”

“He... should be,” they answered uneasily. That should be the case, right?

That was amazing!

As for the Disorder outside falling into a losing position, that was fine. The Disorder with him was really strong! They just weren’t part of one body at the moment. They’d be so much stronger once they were!

Chaos Sky would be no match for the ninth rank. What was anyone afraid of?!

Hence, the chaos beast threw its weight around with unusual boldness and cockiness. “Out of my way! What can you guys do? The senior naturally has his ways to handle the enemy...”

The eighth rank cursed to himself. Damn animal swaggering around with someone else’s influence! You’re just a seventh rank chaos beast! If something like you dared talk to me like that in regular times, I would slap you to death with one blow!

Yuan Shuo also quietly sucked in a breath. Okay that’s a little too much! The stupid tiger’s grown some balls after a few days with Li Hao. Don’t start crying when you’re exposed in a bit!

He was also excited. So long as he entered the world, seized control, and the Five Elements overlords were prevented from returning... that meant he stood a chance of controlling the power of the five elements within the world and suppressing these people.

Everything was proceeding smoothly thus far. He rushed for the world gates, his heart in his mouth!

They might not have sensed anything yet, but the world masters certainly would once he took over control of the world. Just a single shout then might plunge him into an encirclement!

As nervous as Yuan Shuo might be and as difficult things to come could be, he still chose to enter the major world. This might be his only chance!

He sensed the extremely concentrated power of the five elements as soon as he entered. Yuan Shuo fought to keep his excitement in check. This was such immense strength that Five Elements well deserved its reputation of the strongest world of the five elements in the chaos!

He set everything aside and summoned his aura spirit. It became part of the void and started gulping down elemental power. Yuan Shuo was ready to be attacked anytime, but he needed more authority over the world before that...

The exalted emperors following beside him blinked with astonishment. They didn’t know how to handle this.

“Ah, venerated one...” one of them couldn’t help but ask.

“I’m just borrowing some elemental strength,” Yuan Shuo replied with pretended calm. “That will facilitate communications with the other ninth ranks. It’ll be done soon...”

The two eighth ranks didn’t know what was real or fake, so they couldn’t make the right judgment.

The other seventh ranks, who happened to be Five Elements locals, hesitated as well. They looked toward the world from their position on the other side of the world gates. Disorder’s replica seemed to be seizing elemental strength...

It was up to the world masters on how they reacted to that.

Upon the battlefield.

A massive battle was underway. Disorder retreated as he fought, but still enshrouded the surroundings with his might.

“What the... damn it, someone is stealing strength from my world!” Skymetal suddenly gasped.

Who?!

He whirled around to look at Five Elements major world, wanting to howl with fury. Damn it! He’d left people on guard, so why hadn’t anyone stopped the intruder from entering and stealing energy?!

Once too much energy was taken and the dao universe destabilized as a result, all of their strength would be greatly affected!

The battle was already not going well!

He’d just started yelling when great dao thrashed wildly. Endless strength of disorder churned through the void and obliterated his sound ripples!

Skymetal shut his mouth with astonishment!

Across the way, Chaos Sky had heard his yell and raised an eyebrow. He looked at the silent Disorder and grinned. “Disorder... you... really are ruthless!”

Disorder erupted with power again instead of replying! He swept over the vicinity!

Not only was Skymetal silenced, but so was everyone else’s voice. There was endless power of disorder mixed in with chaos dao!

Skymetal started panicking because he could sense the energy of his world starting to tip out of control. It was beginning to affect him and his brothers, so he couldn’t help but shout, “Venerated one, what are you...”

Disorder still didn’t say a word, not until he sensed something himself.

“I hadn’t planned on doing so,” he sighed. “But the circumstances do not permit me to delay anymore. I’m afraid you’ll have to... make some sacrifices for the grand enterprise of the ninth ranks!”
