Chapter 2075: The Mayhem of Battle (IV)

Skymetal and his two brothers didn’t even have a chance to react before their strength suddenly raged out of control. A very faint fission of disorder rose within their bodies.

They were set on fire the next second!

Skymetal’s jaw dropped! The elemental envoys jerked with dismay as well.

“Master of Disorder, what...” shouted Golden Sun of the five envoys.

“It’s nothing, you guys don’t need to worry,” Disorder said softly. “This seat will show face to Skyward. But the three of them... have strength and do not know how to control it. Chaos Sky is incredibly strong at the moment. I might die if the situation continues!”

The three overlords were burning away. Disorder energy intermixed with elemental energy and became part of the Disorder master’s body.

“Disorder, are you not concerned about Five Elements taking you to task for this...” laughed Chaos Sky.

“Will I need to be afraid of him if you kill me? If I win... it’s just a few eighth ranks. I took such a massive risk for this endeavor, so what if I kill them? What will he do about it?”

“You bastard!” Skymetal yelled. “Disorder, it’s Li Hao’s people in my world. It’s his master! He’s seizing our world origin and you are helping him do evil...”

Helping someone else do ‘evil’?

Disorder didn’t care!

He wouldn’t have been able to take action without someone attacking their world. The three of them combined would be difficult to take down since they were premier eighth ranks. It was why he’d enveloped them with his might and dragged them into the fight.

Disorder hadn’t actually discovered Yuan Shuo at first, but he noticed the man as the fight dragged on and the power of disorder erupted over the scene. He wasn’t the only one—Chaos Sky was likely in the know as well.

It was very difficult to hide anything from them, but it didn’t matter that they’d discovered an interloper.

He would’ve made a move against the three even without Yuan Shuo. Disorder had just wanted to be sure. Granted, he would’ve paid a higher price had Yuan Shuo not been thrown into the mix. He also might’ve not been able to seize so much spirit and dao strength.

It was much easier this way.

The five elemental envoys were nearly gibbering with fear. There were powerhouses from other ninth ranks around them who were equally ashen-faced. Disorder... was stripping dao strength from Skymetal and the rest to help himself recover!

Damn it!

Chaos Sky’s eyes widened and flared his tremendous strength. He punched as the energy of disorder came his way, turning the book of darkness into a cage. It enclosed the group, making them easy targets for his punch!

BOOM!

The firmament threatened to shatter.

Disorder clearly wasn’t doing this on a whim. He’d planned for this ahead of time and had decided that he would kill the overlords if he couldn’t overcome his enemy. That would be how he fortified himself and recovered peak battle strength.

Disorder didn’t say anything else. The three burning eighth ranks suddenly erupted with immense intent of disorder. Three explosions rang through the void!

KABOOM!

They went out as a trio of fireworks. Disorder took advantage of the pandemonium to back away some more. His expression was as aloof as it’d been earlier.

Skymetal and his two brothers had been blown to pieces. Their mental spirits coalesced with agonized howls!

“Disorder... you animal...”

We’ve been helping you all this time, but you seize our dao strength and detonate our physical bodies to stop Chaos Sky! You’ve cut us off from everything and aren’t leaving us with a single chance of survival.

Disorder was expressionless. Don’t blame me for being merciless. The ninth ranks sent me back because they thought I was weak and insignificant, that I wouldn’t be too much of a threat to them.

I was sent because there was danger lurking. I wouldn’t have been the choice if this had been a fabulous opportunity.

Tremendous strength surged into his body. The fading power of disorder and its suppressed spirit flared back to life. Three premier eighth ranks inherently contained a lot of spirit, even if they didn’t know how to use it.

Being able to reach this cultivation level was to accumulate spirit.

Having absorbed all of it, Disorder’s presence swelled commandingly. Chaos Sky’s treasure fractured!

Overwhelming force surged out of Disorder’s body, as did a sense of someone cursing him in the void. It came from deep within chaos dao and was the furious reaction of the dao master of the five elements.

Disorder didn’t care!

The shadows of the three overlords were burned down to a crisp. Keening wails filled the air! Five Elements major world in the distance seemed to be collapsing.

Skymetal looked on with despair. Those three had been the overlords of the north, at the end of the day, but they’d suffered setback after setback. And finally, they’d all gone to their end right in front of their home doors. They were sacrificed by someone they thought was on their side!

Even the captain of the Nine Layer Guard snorted coldly, “How utterly shameless!”

“Shameless?” laughed Disorder. “Go ask Chaos Sky who is more shameless! You’re so pathetic that you don’t know how stupid you are!”

Am I as shameless as Chaos Sky?!

Disorder couldn’t be bothered with further talk and flared his battle strength. He vanished on the spot, not caring what was happening to Five Elements major world. It didn’t matter if Yuan Shuo or someone else ended up with it!

The chaos must be thrown into disarray!

He had many chances left. It wouldn’t be that easy for Chaos Sky to kill him. The latter was underestimating a true ninth rank.

Chaos Sky immediately struck the darkness when Disorder vanished!

It was only a moment, but a tremendous collision echoed through the void!

Disorder had become part of chaos dao. The five elemental envoys and eighth ranks of other dao masters panicked behind him, but the intent of disorder burst around them just when they wanted to do something.

They blinked rapidly as they were immediately taken over. All of them shot for Chaos Sky the next second!

Endless disorder strength churned toward Disorder when he murmured. It was best if everything was thrown into turmoil! Although Chaos Sky was stealing a large amount of energy from him right this very moment, Disorder didn’t mind.

He reached out and seemed to grab something. A trace of spirit appeared and he sneered, looking around him. “I may be weak, but I am a ninth rank at the end of the day!”

Do you guys think I’m an idiot?!

Skyward and the rest treat me as cannon fodder, Chaos Sky wants to build his reputation and strength with my death, even the five elemental envoys view me as a vanguard for their dao master. All of them are underestimating what it means to be a ninth rank!

It took only a moment for Disorder’s dao spirit to suddenly collapse!

Disorder vomited blood while his dao strength furiously dissipated. He’d been incredibly formidable and gathered endless power, but now he was falling apart!

Even Chaos Sky stuttered for a split second as disorder streamed out from him!

All of the dao strength exploded without the confines of its dao spirit!

Boom!

Whether it was the Nine Layer guard or five elemental envoys, even cultivators on faraway Five Elements lost their minds. Reason receded, transforming to pandemonium!

“You...” growled a livid Chaos Sky.

“I won’t let you guys have a good time of things, even if I have to lose some cultivation and decline to eighth rank!” Disorder laughed as he flew backward. “You’re not qualified to kill me! I fled from the hands of countless powerhouses and ascended to ninth rank at the end of a long struggle.

“Do you really think that everything is under your control? Order under the auspices of darkness... is such a joke!”

Boom!

The Nine Layer Guards had surrounded Chaos Sky in a protective fashion before. Now, they suddenly turned on their master. Only the captain of the guard was immune from attacking Chaos Sky!

The man’s expression shifted drastically. Fuck!

This had been the last thing he anticipated. Who would’ve thought that Disorder would self detonate all of the spirit within the dao of disorder, sending its strength throughout the void?! This was affecting all of the powerhouses present, interfering with their reasoning and making them lose control!

In the distance,

Disorder was still coughing up blood and leaking dao strength, but he was unusually calm. All of you think I’m an idiot. Sure, I’ll be an idiot for once!

My dao origin still exists. This chaos will dissolve into complete mayhem sooner or later. I still have a chance!

Sacrificing the elemental overlords wasn’t meant to strengthen myself. I probably wouldn’t have been able to take on Chaos Sky regardless. I did so to strengthen the dao spirit, so that when I detonated it, it would cause disorder to completely rage out of control!

Without spirit and the severing my connection to chaos dao means that even the ninth ranks won’t be able to track me anymore!

Disorder grinned and melted into the chaos. He left without a look back, fleeing for his life.

Have fun!

Chaos Sky glared unpleasantly in the general direction that Disorder had left in. He could pursue his opponent, but that would leave the berserk Nine Layer Guard to attack and possibly kill each other.

That guy had clearly been prepared.

Chaos Sky took a deep breath, summoning the Tome of Chaos Sky. It absorbed all of the disorder within the guards, helping them regain their clarity. Meanwhile, the eighth ranks that they were facing were completely out of control!

Chaos Sky looked on with a remote expression. He hadn’t been able to kill Disorder, but at least Disorder had lost a cultivation level. He was just a regular eighth rank now, since he lacked spirit.

Disorder didn’t want to face me, he just wanted to escape from the control of the other ninth ranks.

Chaos Sky lifted his head and looked up at the chaos dao hovering in and out of sight. Will you guys be sending more powerhouses after this?

Within the depths of the chaos.

The Skyward master was unmoved. The Calamity master scowled. The dao master of the five elements stared frostily ahead, as if seeing everything.

“Disorder, huh!” he spat out. “He would rather give up the strength of a ninth rank in order to leave everything behind him. How is someone like that worthy of being a ninth rank?”

Damn him!

He hadn’t been that furious when the elemental overlords were sacrificed. Fine, so they were dead. At least that would ensure Disorder could fight Chaos Sky to the death!

No matter what the results were, at least everyone would know more about Chaos Sky.

And yet, Disorder hadn’t sacrificed the overlords for the purposes of battle. He’d done so to detonate the dao spirit!

That asshole!

The dao master of the five elements was so infuriated that he wanted to spit blood. This outcome had been the last thing that anyone expected. He looked at Skyward out of the corner of his eye. The five elemental envoys were also out of control. With Chaos Sky still on the scene... this would likely mark the end of all the Skyward powerhouses that’d traveled back.

And yet, the Skyward master remained coolly composed. He was simply deep in thought and didn’t say anything.
