Star Gate

Chapter 2135: The Descent of Three Generations (III)

  • Next Chapter

The person from the new chaos stood prominently over the river. A star seemed to hold him up beneath his feet.

Everyone started when they recognized the star. It was the dao star of time!

Time was beneath his feet!

“Allow me to introduce myself. I am the master of Myriad Realms, Su Yu!” His voice traveled forth like a babbling brook. It was punctuated with gentle laughter, like he was the friendly neighbor next door. A smile hung easily on his face. “We are newly arrived and unaware of the customs and rules of this locale. Those of Myriad Realms are law-abiding citizens who place great importance on the rules. It is a pleasure to meet all of you!”

Rules!

Worlds seem to freeze and a forest of great dao spring up when this word was thrown out. Thunder roared and lightning crackled.

I am Su Yu, I value rules the most!

There is no order without rules!

A lack of rules leads to nothing being done!

A world and the myriad of worlds are unstable without rules.

This chaos is so messy.

Distaste swelled in Su Yu. He was reminded of when Myriad Realms was in constant upheaval. It was such a sickening thought. He covered his nose and chuckled, “Who is the master of this place? Every ship needs a captain and the worlds need a ruler.

“There is only one sun in the sky and one emperor of a territory. I request the master of this place to explain the rules to my cultivators, so that conflicts do not develop between us!”

The river of time spread in all directions and the worlds changed color. It was like a magnificent sun had come upon them. Even the fanfare caused by the descent of the ninth ranks was overshadowed.

He was just the master of the new chaos, which made him the master of a singular world in the eyes of the chaos universe. Worlds abounded in the universe and there were endless masters of the world.

And yet, there was no one as relaxed and projected such an air of prestige as him. He ascended to the top of the hierarchy as soon as he emerged, stunning all sides! He stood with time underfoot and a bevy of exalted emperors around him. All of them were an imposing sight, as if monarchs surveying their land.

The group of exalted emperors behind him seemed to change slightly when they emerged from the world. The look in some of their eyes shifted as spirit began to awaken.

But no matter what they recalled, they didn’t twitch a muscle. They remained staunchly standing behind Su Yu.

Rules!

What was defined as the universe was the cardinal directions, up and down. Such was the extent of the universe since time immemorial. Cardinal orientation defined the parameters, past to present defined the direction.

......

On the edge of the four regions.

One person sprawled in a pool of chaos strength, a smile playing on his face. Well well, Su Yu. The emperor from the future.

No, wait, time has been standardized between us now, so he’s no longer from the future.

He’s from the present!

The past was gone and the future could not be chased. Only in the here and now was one alive and a real person.

“You’re finally out,” Li Hao murmured softly. What a domineering fellow he was!

He started talking of the rules as soon as he was out. Ever since primordial times, it was only the strong who had the right to establish the rules.

Who could make the rules now, in this chaos?

......

On the other side.

The Human King quirked his lips and stifled a laugh. What a cocky fellow! He was just a junior, but he dared throw his weight around like this!

Someone else, however, widened his eyes. The Sun God stared at Su Yu’s side, lost in a daze. Some others were staring off into space as well. The Sword Sovereign had sunk into deep contemplation as he studied some people behind Su Yu.

Those people... seemed familiar.

But they’d all come from the future and were born from the new chaos. He’d never come in contact with them. So why were they familiar?

After a long period of thought, he connected the sensation to the Sun God’s current condition. That brought new inspiration to mind. Surely... not?

Fang Ping looked over again after his lips twitched for a while. His eyes darted around and he furrowed his brows at the supreme. Supreme Zhang inclined his head as soon as Fang Ping looked over, as if he’d expected the reaction.

The Human King raised an eyebrow with a snort! This was not satisfactory.

Su Yu! You lied to me back in the day, didn’t you?

Fine, I forgive you since you saved a bunch of people. Fang Ping looked at the supreme again when he thought of that world and its countless beings.

You think correctly, Zhang Tao surmised. It might... all be the same people.

Fang Ping stared at the supreme. I see! But... ew.

“I have been outdone by my successor,” the smiling supreme transmitted with a quick shake of his head. “I’m not that perverted. There were males and females, old and young in that world. They even...

“I can’t bring myself to do that. I’ve always thought that I’m a piece of work already, but today I encounter someone even more perverted than me. Don’t think too much. My replica is me and has never changed.”

I am seriously not that perverted.

That world... that world of magic even had the proper cycle of reincarnation. People got married, had kids, and had intimate relations with each other...

It was one thing if they were all different people. But if they really were all the same person...

The supreme clucked his tongue with amazement. How could the creator live with himself after doing that?

A replica was still the same person!

So you... did that... with yourself...

Very well!

The supreme conceded. He’d never met such a perverted person in his life. Whether it was Li Hao or the Human King, they were all remarkable characters. Even this Su Yu counted as well. All three were equally crazy.

And yet, crazy did not mean perverted.

This Myriad Realms has apparently nurtured a world class pervert. I hope they don’t come to me or think that they’re related to me. They’re not of the same school as me. I don’t know this person and can’t afford this loss of face.

I only left behind a bit of replica dao, not pervert dao.

......

The ninth ranks had forgotten about Li Hao. Skyward raised an eyebrow. Calamity and the rest looked over.

“Can you guys see his cultivation level?” someone murmured.

“He’s not weak, at least he rivals Li Hao when the brat still had time. Li Hao had only five thousand dao rules and was on par with an eight thousand dao rule cultivator. This person... is at least this level!”

“That’s fine...”

Li Hao’s five thousand dao rules were the equivalent of a regular eighth rank’s eight thousand dao rules. He was a premier existence among eighth ranks.

From a simple perspective, the newcomer’s presence rivaled what Li Hao had brought to bear back in the day. He walked on time and so, might have grasped its strength to become the third generation cultivator of time. That made him a true third gen, a reproduction of Li Hao.

That was good!

Li Hao was difficult to handle, but strictly in terms of his brain and berserk fervor. He could be extremely heartless and ruthless sometimes.

If this guy was only a second Li Hao, then they weren’t afraid of him.

Compared to Li Hao, it was the group of people behind the third gen that was incredible. There were many eighth ranks among them. While they didn’t measure up to that Su Yu, there were at least a dozen of them.

Now that exceeded expectations!

For such a new, small world to produce so many premier eighth ranks, and new ones at that...

Yet, upon second thought, that was to be expected.

How many eighth ranks had died last time?

Many!

So many had died and quite a few had been fully incorporated into the new chaos. It was normal for so many powerhouses to be born.

“C’mon, let’s go take a look!”

“Then Li Hao...”

“The third gen is here, so it looks like Li Hao really has given up on time. We can kill him whenever we want. Stop obsessing over this, Calamity!”

This Su Yu had walked out with time at his feet and the river circling around him. His powerhouses were as numerous as the forest. Who would they go to right now, if not Su Yu?

Were they really that bored to head for Li Hao?

That kid was nothing without time! He was just the equivalent of a random eighth rank behind Su Yu. Was there a need to specifically focus on him?

Calamity glowered. It was true that the new master of Myriad Realms was a more pressing issue. Therefore, he said nothing else before swiftly following the others!

......

At the same time.

Chaos Sky sensed the strength of order. It’d been scattered throughout the river, like no individual person cultivated it. It’d become part of the rules and the very construction of the river.

This river of dao was based off order.

Chaos Sky frowned. That was bad!

It would be easy to seize order again if only one person cultivated it. He just needed to kill that person.

But a group of people who’d split order among themselves?

No wonder I sensed order growing stronger. Everyone seems to be cultivating order and naturally making it stronger.

He looked at those upon the river and intoned, “I am Chaos Sky...”

“Are you the master of this chaos?” Su Yu smiled humbly. “So it’s Emperor Chaos Sky, my apologies for my lack of manners!”

His voice reverberated through the void as he laughed heartily, “I am newly arrived here, yet the emperor has come to welcome me in person. You are far too kind!”
