City A (4th Zone)

The cab dropped him off at the Beast Taming Association 20 minutes later. He stepped out of the car and paid the fare to the driver.

When the cab was gone, he turned toward the Beast Taming Association Building and walked straight toward it.

He reached the main door and opened it to step inside, entering the spacious lobby. He saw Beast Tamers moving back and forth.

There were Beast Tamers adorned in armor. Some wore full gear sets with helmets, while others only wore body sets without helmets.

Because of this, his suit of full-body armor didn’t attract much attention; he was not the only one with modern armor.

Other members were wearing expensive armor as well. Some were adorned in customized sets that were far more expensive than standard-issue sets.

Jeremy then collected his thoughts and looked around.

The place looked quite busy. He walked over to the admin desk; he was familiar with both the staff and the manager here.

Jeremy approached the senior admin staff. The male staff member recognized him upon seeing Jeremy Night and was taken aback.

Even though the young man was covered in a full-body armor set, the clerk knew there was only one person with Tier-4 strength wearing the latest armor-armor that had been provided by the manager.

"You’re back," the male staff member said.

"Yes, I’m going to use the special chamber, so I’m here to give you a heads-up," Jeremy told him.

Hearing that, the staff member grew a little tense. Last time, some members had caused trouble, though the manager was there to resolve it.

The members had kept to themselves back then, but today was different. Most of them were present, and others were already using the special chambers.

"Are you sure you want to use the special chamber?" the staff member asked.

Hearing this, Jeremy Night raised his eyebrows, unsure why the staff member was asking.

"Yes, I’m planning to head back into the wilderness soon. I want to recover my strength faster," Jeremy Night replied.

A look of understanding crossed the staff member’s face. He said, "Give me a minute. I’ll check."

With that, the staff member searched the database.

He saw that most of the special chambers were occupied, with only a few still available. He looked up at Jeremy Night and said, "There are a few rooms available. You can head up and use one."

Jeremy Night smiled and thanked him, then headed toward the floor with the special chambers.

The staff member watched Jeremy Night walk away, hoping there wouldn’t be any trouble. Still, he reported the matter to the manager immediately.

The manager had already instructed them: if Jeremy Night appeared, they had to report it right away.

A few minutes later, Jeremy Night arrived at the special chamber hall. He stepped inside, looked around, and found that most of the rooms were occupied.

Locating one of the few vacancies, he went over, opened the door, and stepped inside.

The chamber door shut automatically behind him. He activated the console, and rich natural energy began flowing from the inlet.

The natural energy spread throughout the room, its high concentration forming a mist.

Jeremy Night walked to the middle of the chamber and sat cross-legged on the floor.

Buzz!

Stella woke up and surveyed the area, realizing they were back inside the Beast Taming Association’s special chamber.

She began absorbing the dense natural energy, which vanished into the beast’s six wings.

The process continued steadily.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Night began circulating his inner healing method.

Natural energy flooded his body as he guided the flow along his pathways. The cells along the route activated and began absorbing the energy.

Buzz!

He noticed the rich natural energy entering his mental zone as well, where Stella continued drawing it in through her wings.

Seeing this, he closed his eyes and resumed the cycle.

City Governor’s Office

One hour later,

City Governor Evelina was reviewing the reports. At the moment, the hotspots were clear of Tier-8 beasts.

No beasts above Tier-7 were disturbing the wilderness, and no corrupted beasts were crossing the border.

She raised her eyebrows.

She had expected the Tier-9 Spiked Tiger to retaliate; several hours had passed since her last operation, yet there had been no counterattack from the beast.

She knew the Tier-9 tiger beast was both vengeful and short-tempered.

It surely knew what had occurred at the border, yet she had received no further reports of beasts appearing there.

The border of the wilderness remained secure for now. Just as she was puzzled over the situation, her assistant arrived with a new report.

Once the assistant left, she began reading through the updates. It didn’t take long for her expression to shift.

The intelligence had been submitted by Governors Corvin and Garran.

They had heard loud noises coming from the uncharted lands-a deafening roar that had lasted the entire night. It perplexed her, so she continued reading the remaining files.

Her confusion only deepened. The rest of the reports corroborated the story, filed by other Tier-8 Beast Tamers stationed at the border who had also heard the commotion.

A battle had likely taken place in the uncharted territory.

It could very well be related to the Tier-9 Spiked Tiger.

Governor Evelina considered venturing into the uncharted lands to investigate, but she quickly reconsidered.

She had overlooked an important factor: the uncharted territory spanned an endless expanse, and the Tier-9 Spiked Tiger was not the only high-tier beast dwelling there.

Other Tier-9 beasts inhabited the region, and she had no desire to provoke them.

Handling a single Tier-9 beast was already difficult; if multiple Tier-9 beasts appeared, it could trigger a catastrophic crisis for City A.

She decided to consult the higher-ups in the Human Alliance instead, hoping they could offer a solution.

She chose not to risk entering the uncharted lands and creating unnecessary complications, still suspecting that the Tier-9 tiger beast was merely biding its time.
