Special Practice Room Facility

The Manager and Beast Tamer Oren were looking at each other. The old man understood the situation: the rest of them had entered the special practice chamber.

But Beast Tamer Oren had yet to get one.

"Beast Tamer Oren, since no one is coming out, you should not trouble them," the old man said to him.

Beast Tamer Oren stopped smiling, but he cursed inside. The old manager had arrived at the wrong time.

"I’m going to wait for my friends here," Oren replied.

"You know the rules here. Those who are not using the special practice room should not be here," the old man repeated.

Hearing that, Oren continued to argue with the old man.

After some time, the anger in Oren’s heart surged forth. He decided to leave, but before leaving, his gaze fell on the nearest special practice room.

If this person had opened the door earlier, he would have entered the room and avoided the situation. He didn’t know which b@stard was inside.

Then, Oren left the facility. The old man heaved a sigh of relief. It was the first time he had gone against people like Beast Tamer Oren.

He was already expecting a call from Beast Tamer Oren’s father. But the Head of the Beast Taming Association had been clear with his instructions: there should be no favoritism.

So, he was not doing it merely to protect the young man, Jeremy Night. He knew the young man had come from the special base by taking a volunteer mission.

The Association Head had given orders not to disturb the young man. In either case, there would be no trouble for Jeremy Night from the association.

Next, the manager left the room. After arriving in the lobby, he sent someone else to keep watch outside the training facility. He didn’t want Beast Tamer Oren to return to the facility.

The senior male staff member sighed inwardly. He was glad that he had made the right decision to call the Manager. But when the Manager saw him, he gave him a cold look.

The staff member could feel that the Manager was not happy that he had called him.

Outside,

Beast Tamer Oren stood under a large shade tree. A storm of anger raged in his heart. He had never been driven away from any place by anyone before.

It was the first time such an incident had occurred, and he felt humiliated. Fortunately, his friends were not present the second time. He thought about that one particular special practice room.

His anger intensified thinking about that room.

As time passed,

Beast Tamers came and went from the association. Those who recognized Beast Tamer Oren approached and talked to him briefly.

He responded to them cordially, not displaying any bad attitude.

...

Special Practice Room:

Midnight came, and Jeremy Night exited the special practice room. Just then, he saw two more people exiting their room. When he assessed their strength, he realized they were Tier-6 Beast Tamers.

He spared a single glance at them before leaving the area.

Meanwhile, the two Tier-6 Beast Tamers, who were friends of Beast Tamer Oren, were stunned.

"Did you just see that?"

"A Tier-4 Beast Tamer was using the special practice room," one of them said.

"He must be a kid from a rich family. But I don’t know which family would give a gold card to a Tier-4 Beast Tamer," the second person remarked.

Both of them had clear envy in their eyes.

Outside,

Jeremy Night exited the building after speaking to the night-shift admin. He hadn’t checked into a hotel earlier, so he decided to head out into the wilderness.

He planned to sleep in the wilderness. If anyone saw him, they would think he was crazy.

However, as he reached the main street, he saw someone standing under the shade tree in the dark.

He turned around and glanced at the person; the person looked back at him as well.

Just then, a cab approached. The driver must have spotted him, pulling to a stop right in front of him.

"Take me to the city gate," Jeremy said to the driver.

The driver nodded. Jeremy opened the door, slid into the back seat, and shut the door behind him.

Swoosh!

The driver engaged the cab. The vehicle rose from the ground, stabilized mid-air, and sped toward its destination.

Meanwhile, Beast Tamer Oren watched the entire scene unfold. He didn’t know what a Tier-4 Beast Tamer was doing at the association at this time of night.

Not dwelling on it, he shifted his attention back to the entrance. Just then, two people exited the building. Upon spotting Beast Tamer Oren, they began walking toward him.

The two appeared before Oren.

"Oren, what are you doing here?"

"Why haven’t you headed home?" they asked one after the other. They assumed Oren had stayed behind after finishing his practice session, waiting for them instead.

Hearing them, Oren’s mood improved at the sight of his friends.

"I didn’t get to use the special practice room," Oren said, before explaining the entire situation to them.

A few minutes later,

The expressions of both friends shifted into shared anger. They couldn’t believe their friend had been disrespected like that.

"Let’s report this to the Dean. I’m sure the Dean will confront them about it. You should also tell your father," one of them said.

"I’ve already thought of that. But I’m waiting for someone else," Oren said in a cold tone.

Hearing this, both friends exchanged looks.

Beast Tamer Oren then explained the situation further. He had knocked on the door of one of the special practice rooms-pounding on it more than a hundred times.

Yet the person inside the special practice room never opened the door or stepped out to check.

Upon hearing that, the friends recalled something startling. They had seen a Tier-4 Beast Tamer emerging from one of the special practice rooms earlier.

It was an incredible sight, but they hadn’t realized it was connected.

"Which room was it?" his friend asked.

Oren gave the room number.

"No way," the black-haired friend said.

"It’s the same young man," the second friend replied.
