The group’s expressions changed drastically. They had never seen the manager act this bluntly before.

He had always accommodated them in the past, leaving them baffled by his sudden defiance.

More than anyone else, Beast Tamer Oren was furious, especially as a crowd began to form around them.

He disliked being the subject of public gossip and wanted to put an end to the spectacle.

Without another word, he turned around and walked away under the watchful eyes of the crowd.

Seeing that their friend was walking away, the members exchanged looks with each other. They, too, left the place.

The ten members exited the Beast Taming Association Building with frustration. Everyone had clear anger on their faces. It was the first time the manager had spoken to them like this.

The group gathered under a tree. Everyone turned toward Oren. They saw that his eyes were almost blood-red.

It showed how angry he was in the first place.

"Maybe the manager really must have received orders from above," one of the male beast tamers said.

At this time, Oren raised his head and said, "I just asked him for the name list. I’m sure the members would give me a face out of respect."

"There is no need to think too much about it. We have done this before. The manager didn’t cause any problems back then," Oren added.

Hearing that, everyone fell silent. Oren then calmed his raging heart.

"What should we do?"

"Should we go back to the university and use the facility there?" a female beast tamer asked.

"Nothing is faster than the special practice rooms. If we use that facility, it could take more time," the male member said.

Oren shook his head and said, "No, there is no use in going back. The facility might already be occupied by other students."

The members were all silent. They realized that they could not show off there. Status was of no use on campus.

There were other people who had equally prominent backgrounds there. Not only that, the Dean of the University did not tolerate such behavior.

In fact, their actions could backfire on them.

Oren then said, "Let’s go to the special practice rooms. We will knock on the doors one by one. I’m sure the members will let us use them."

Hearing that, the others agreed. There was no point in wasting time there. At least they could go to the special practice rooms and convince others.

They were lagging behind the other students, who were likely hunting down more Tier-6 beasts right now.

Next, the group left the area. They walked back to the entrance of the building. When they went inside, they saw that the lobby had fewer members than before.

They did not head toward the administration desk; instead, they went straight to the elevator. They decided to go directly to the special practice room floor.

Ten minutes later,

All ten beast tamers were in the special practice room facility. Beast Tamer Oren looked around the area.

There were a hundred or so special practice rooms, but fewer than ten were empty. Oren then signaled the members with his eyes to knock on the chamber doors.

If someone was awake, they would exit the room. Soon, the beast tamers began knocking on the doors one after another.

Oren stood with his arms crossed, glancing at his device from time to time. He was thinking more about the wilderness than the situation here.

To him, the situation was not a big deal. He still believed that people would give him face.

Time passed.

The beast tamers inside the special practice rooms were busy practicing. Some of them were awake, while the rest were deeply immersed in their training.

Those who were awake grew extremely angry because the knocking continued, as if someone wanted them to leave.

A few assumed it might be an emergency, while the rest thought someone merely wanted to use the room, choosing instead to ignore it and stay inside.

Those who exited saw the beast tamers outside. Before they could confront them in anger, they saw Beast Tamer Oren’s face.

They recognized him instantly. People who possessed golden cards were no ordinary individuals. Seeing them there, they deduced that Oren’s group held golden cards but lacked enough special practice rooms.

Beast Tamer Oren smiled and made a polite request.

The beast tamers changed their attitude all of a sudden. Knowing Beast Tamer Oren, they respectfully accepted his request.

They gave up their special practice rooms. Beast Tamer Oren smiled and thanked them, then told his members to take the rooms.

However, he did not use one yet. He still wanted every member of his team to have a room first. It did not take long for the nine members to enter the special practice rooms.

Now, he needed one more room for himself. He decided to knock as well. He went to the nearest room and knocked on the door.

Unlike the others, he did not go from door to door. There were around a hundred rooms, and he was too lazy to check them all.

He was confident that the door right next to him would open. He knocked a couple of times, but there was no response whatsoever.

He checked the room’s status panel. It was marked "Occupied," meaning there was someone inside.

Time passed.

Beast Tamer Oren grew pissed off. He realized the person simply refused to come out. Anyone else would have heard the knocks by now.

He lost count of how many times he had knocked. He had knocked far more than his team members had, yet the person would not open the door at all.

He worried he might break the door down in his anger. Just as he was about to knock again, someone stepped onto the floor.

The person who approached was none other than the manager. The members who had left earlier had reported the situation to him.

The manager was furious upon seeing Beast Tamer Oren. He had not expected Oren to disregard his words so completely.

Stifling his rage, the manager calmed himself before asking, "What are you doing here?"

Beast Tamer Oren stood with his arms crossed and turned toward him, clearly not expecting the manager’s arrival.
