Chapter 1160: Part 1: Stella Unleashes Her Fury

Jeremy Night watched the two dangerous beasts from a distance. For the first time, he was seeing this weird, mutated creature. The parasite and the host were fighting together.

Even though he was standing at a safe distance, he could pick up on the dangerous signals.

His senses were warning him of an immediate threat. He knew he should not underestimate the beast at all.

Higher-tier beasts usually had abilities. The weirder the beast, the more deadly its abilities would be.

Jeremy Night then looked towards the six-winged butterfly beast. His lifeline beast used their shared ability the next second.

Her six wings, which were covered in a white-blue starlight power, suddenly gained a crimson border.

Boom!

The next second, he saw her attack the lump on the desert lizard’s back.

To be safe, he unsheathed his blade, his grip tight around the handle.

His vision covered the surrounding 500 meters. There was no presence of any Beast Taming Teams or Corrupted beasts in the area.

Outside

Stella used her starlight wings to cut into the beast’s back. The wings cut through the flesh, and blood spurted from the blade-like wounds on its body.

Screech!

The Tier-7 parasite root let out a weird scream. Its main body was buried in the back of the desert lizard. Its long, extending root targeted the six-winged butterfly.

Swoosh!

The butterfly vanished from the spot. The root targeted empty air, piercing right through it.

Stella appeared above the beast and continued her assault, her wings leaving behind many open gashes on its back.

Pfff!

Blood splattered across the surroundings.

Roar!

The desert lizard began its counterattack. It opened its mouth wide and shot out a sand vortex.

Boom!

The sand attack lacked aim, flying randomly before hitting the ground.

Boom!

The sand beam landed on the ground, creating a massive crater. The impact force spread outward, destroying the surroundings.

The desert lizard tried to attack the six-winged butterfly, but it could not aim properly. It could only rely on the parasite root.

Swoosh!

However, the parasite beast failed to strike the six-winged butterfly every time. Stella effortlessly evaded all the attacks, leaving the parasite root to continually hit empty air.

Boom!

The parasite root’s attacks created sonic booms in mid-air. The desert lizard circled the same spot, trying to move its head to take aim.

It failed to do so, but the movement of the massive, 5-meter-tall beast generated a heavy impact force.

Pfff!

The bleeding continued, with blood flowing freely from the back wounds. The parasite root made a weird sound, showing that it was feeling the pain.

The desert lizard was also experiencing pain. Stella was easily playing against the Tier-8 and Tier-7 beasts.

Jeremy Night stood with his arms crossed. Just as he was paying attention to them, he saw both beasts turn towards him. The end of the parasite root resembled a mouth.

The massive head of the desert lizard turned towards him as well.

Jeremy Night’s heart began to race. He zoomed in his vision and saw that both beasts were clearly looking directly at him.

[Be careful, they found you,] Stella said to him.

Hearing that, Jeremy Night realized he was right. The beasts were indeed looking at him.

Boom!

The next second, the massive beast bolted from its spot. The parasite root came charging at him.

Seeing this, Jeremy Night gripped his blade’s handle tightly, covering the weapon in starlight power. The desert lizard was closing the distance quickly.

Pfff!

Stella intensified her attacks on its back. She was getting closer to the main body of the parasite. She just needed a few more strikes to reach it.

Blood sprayed in large amounts as the beast charged forward. Stella increased her attacks, yet the desert lizard didn’t turn around. It felt less pain than the parasite root beast.

The Tier-7 parasite beast was now facing a deadly crisis. A few more wing attacks, and its main body would be exposed.

The beast had intelligence. It knew that the attacking creature was the companion of the human beast tamer.

If they killed the beast tamer, the companion beast would die as well.

The parasite root communicated with the desert lizard, and the lizard increased its speed. They were getting closer to a human.

Swoosh!

Jeremy Night had already used his speed ability five times. He had to rely on his timing and reflexes to avoid the attack as the massive frame of the beast closed in on him.

He felt the oppressive aura of the Tier-8 beast weighing down on him like a mountain.

Boom!

Just then, the parasite root appeared before his eyes. Before it could hit him, he swung his blade forward.

Cut!

The edge of the blade came in contact with the mouth of the parasite root. Covered in starlight power, the blade sliced through the mouth part.

Since it was a Tier-7 beast, its defense was not as strong as the Tier-8 beast’s.

Boom!

However, the impact force sent him flying backwards. In the blink of an eye, he fell to the ground, but at the last moment, he adjusted his posture to avoid a bad fall.

After crashing, his body was dragged backward until he stabilized himself. Jeremy Night stood up, feeling massive pain all over his body.

Even though it was just the impact force, he had been sent flying. He then used a movement technique to retreat and widen the gap.

In the blink of an eye, he moved backwards a hundred meters.

Meanwhile, Stella was enraged. Seeing Jeremy Night fall to the ground angered her, and her attack speed increased.

The Tier-7 parasite root bled from its mouth. It was gruesome to watch. The mouth part of the beast had been almost completely severed.

The desert lizard reached the crash site, intent on killing the human. But the human was no longer there; he was standing a couple of meters away from the spot. The beast was enraged.
