Subject Zero: Faceless

Years went by in a solitary lab, years only filled with pain. Time passed, taking one thing at a time from him — his name, his voice, his vision, and finally even the pain.

While everything faded from his face, one face stayed smiling.

A face he remembers, but not who.

That smile became his anchor, even when he didn't know if it was real.

Until… everything went quiet, and new hands reached out to him.

Now he's a weapon again — just a different nation's, with better manners and worse intentions than either side admits out loud.

He speaks without sound. He sees without light. Behind a mask he hides, and no mask hides from him.

With a facade of freedom anchoring his purpose, he seeks what's lost.
