Such sweet and understanding words naturally soothed a man’s heart.

Ryan hesitated for a moment, then sighed.

Anna secretly rejoiced at her victory. By then, the sales assistant had wrapped up both bags and handed them over.

"How about giving that limited edition one to Tina? She’d definitely be happy."

Anna continued to stir the pot.

Ryan gave her a flat look and said, "I told you, it’s yours. Don’t bring her up again."

That domineering CEO style charmed not only Anna but even the other sales assistants.

"Forget it, let’s head back."

Ryan wasn’t in the mood anymore. He checked the time, it was already past nine, and said, "Let me ask my roommates if they want a late-night snack. If they do, I’ll have to bring some back for them."

"Oh, okay, okay!!!"

Anna was a bit taken aback. She had expected that after such a perfect day, Ryan would take her to a hotel.

She hadn’t expected such an innocent ending. It surprised her, and she thought to herself that maybe he was still processing everything.

She had been so forward, and yet after all that drama with Tina, he seemed distant. No... she had to step it up, be even more proactive, and not give him a chance to change his mind.

Because Tina was feeling down, Anna felt uneasy inside. If it had been before, getting two such expensive bags would have made her not care about any of those details.

"Anna, let’s go back on my ride."

Anna looked expectantly and nodded sweetly. But it wasn’t some fancy car with a driver picking her up.

Instead, they walked out of the hotel.

Over by the bus stop, he unlocked a U-lock, and then Ryan wheeled out an ordinary electric scooter.

The only thing that stood out was that ever since he got the system, he had removed the food delivery box, a way of saying goodbye to the past and marking his return in style.

Anna didn’t hesitate at all. She directly got on the back seat and wrapped her arms around Ryan’s waist from behind.

Ryan couldn’t be bothered to wear a helmet either. This was his old food delivery scooter, so naturally there wasn’t a second helmet.

With her hugging him like that, her warm, soft scent and softness pressed against him, her full breasts squeezing up against him through her bra.

That wonderful sensation let Ryan experience the joy of being a carefree young guy.

"Hold on tight!!"

Ryan started up the little electric scooter and weaved through the city streets.

Anna was holding all the shopping bags, and her posture was a bit uncomfortable. She couldn’t help but ask, "Ryan, do you like riding electric scooters?"

Ryan enjoyed the wonderful feeling of her chest against him and snapped back to attention, saying, "Of course. The city is so clogged with traffic. Even if you drive a McLaren, you’ll still be stuck on the road."

"Never mind my scooter. No matter how expensive your car is, it’s useless. You just have to watch bicycles go faster than you."

"And to be honest with you, I don’t even have a driver’s license yet. I don’t know how to drive anyway, and I don’t want to be stuck in traffic getting road rage."

"Besides, I like to have a few drinks. Taxis are way more convenient. Buying and maintaining a car is such a hassle, especially on campus. And what if someone wants to borrow it?"

This was absolutely honest, no sarcasm at all.

But to Anna’s ears, it added more information worth pondering...

Ryan must have no interest in luxury cars anymore. He probably really hates traffic jams and really likes the convenience of a little scooter. Truly wealthy people really are practical.

Not having a license was laughable. How often do you even get checked? What rich young heir actually cares about that?

As for not drinking and driving, that might be true. But being so concerned about his own safety and not acting recklessly, it was impressively steady.

Parking on campus was a hassle, and he’d been keeping a low profile for three years already, so of course he wouldn’t buy a car now.

Ryan was just so down-to-earth...

So casual, purely enjoying this ordinary life, as if today’s extravagance had actually interrupted his fun.

"Holy crap, wait, is that Anna???"

"I’m not seeing things, am I? Isn’t Anna that social queen, the number one at keeping backup guys and simps? When has she ever been this affectionate with anyone?"

"Wait a second, who’s that guy? Is that the number one simp Ryan???"

Even though the school gates were about to close, quite a few people were still hanging around outside the dorm buildings.

Seeing this unbelievable scene, everyone was stunned, rubbing their eyes in disbelief.

Immediately, one of Anna’s simps sneered, "Bullshit. What’s the big deal? He’s just a broke food delivery guy."

"She probably just got tired from walking and felt sorry for him, so she gave him a chance to give her a ride back on his scooter."

When they reached the girls’ dormitory building, Anna also realized something was off.

Since entering the school, out of habit from maintaining simps and building up backup options, she instinctively let go of him whenever she saw people and stopped hugging Ryan.

Her posture kept a certain distance, carrying a bit of reserve, as if Ryan was just a motorcycle taxi driver.

As soon as she got off the scooter, her expression turned a little panicked. Ryan smiled at her and said, "Get some rest early!!"

The more casual the words, the more information they might contain. Ryan wasn’t someone with deep schemes.

Either he was so deep that it was scary, with that kind of wealth, forget Tina, he could get any woman he wanted.

Anna was still wondering if Tina’s fate had something special about it.

But Anna had seen plenty of scheming people, and she had all sorts of fantasies about high society. Hearing such a simple yet warm remark made her expression falter.

She forced a smile and said eagerly, "Ryan, Tina’s upset and cried today. How about I give her this limited edition bag?"

"I know how much you used to like her."

Ryan lit a cigarette and looked at her with a deep gaze, saying, "That doesn’t matter anymore. What I give you is yours. Please don’t bring up these old wounds again, okay?"

"Ah, I’m sorry!!!"

Anna was a little startled. Ryan’s expression didn’t look like he was joking.

Now only she knew about Ryan’s true background.

Honestly, with that kind of financial firepower, if he had shown it from the start, Tina might have been on her second child by now.

But Tina knew nothing of this, and he only revealed it to her. A hint of sweetness welled up in her heart again.

"I’m not trying to blame you."

Ryan shook his head and said gently, "Anna, please keep all of this a secret for me, okay? At least for now, you’re the person I trust the most."

Ryan’s thinking was very simple. Right now, he only had a little over a thousand dollars left.

The unlimited money system did let him spend freely, but only on bound targets.

With Anna, he could spend money freely, so maybe he could rely on her a bit for support.

Still, he didn’t know what the enhancement points from his first reversal would be. Ryan felt a bit uncertain and lacked confidence. He’d have to see what came out of the first reversal first.

"Ryan, I promise I won’t say anything!"

Remembering Ryan’s embarrassing reputation from before, Anna nodded knowingly and vowed solemnly.
