Chapter 1974: Threatening Loki

Loki’s summoning ceremony didn’t release anything special like Apep. However, they didn’t lower their guard. Nathan would give a signal to anyone who lowered their guard simply because he didn’t look special.

This way, they would remain vigilant, preventing them from falling into Loki’s illusion.

A man with short black hair finally made his appearance. He was wearing a rather surprising outfit. Instead of anything that suited his origin, he actually wore a black suit and black pants. His sunglasses were completely unnecessary, but Nathan couldn’t help but think of a certain movie when he saw him.

"..." Nathan frowned. How did Loki even wear something that modern people wore? Was it because of the memory he showed to Bella? There wasn’t much memory. He introduced his modern world to his women. He certainly didn’t show him the movies, the stories, or other things he had witnessed from that world.

As soon as Loki appeared, he smiled and pointed at Nathan. "I know you recognized me. I was replicating my attire from your memory."

He was playful from the very start, taking aback Nathan. This was why he really didn’t want to summon Loki.

Loki was probably the only person whose thoughts eluded him in this group.

Still, the aliens were rather different from the ones they were currently fighting.

Bella opened her mouth, but Loki managed to react and say it first. "You don’t have to tell me anything. I know. You are my summoner, Isabella Slavina. Your favorite food is your husband. You may look cheerful and playful on the outside, but people don’t realize that you are even wilder on the insi—"

"NOOOO!" Bella screamed, trying to stop him.

"Go!" Nathan hurriedly shouted.

Xolotl, Garuda, Chiyou, and Nyx hurriedly grabbed Loki, restraining him.

"Hahaha. Such a rough welcome!" Loki laughed.

Suddenly, his body disappeared as though he had been preparing for it. He was running his mouth because he had been buying time to utilize his power. This way, he would be untouchable.

"!!!" Nyx couldn’t help but widen her eyes. This was the first time she had been fooled. Besides, there were three more true gods trying to restrain Loki, but they allowed him to escape.

However, before they stepped up to chase Loki, Mae suddenly shouted, "Stop. All four of you!"

"!!!" They were startled. They thought Mae was telling the others or trying to stop Loki, but it turned out she asked the four of them to stop.

Suddenly, they regained the sensation of touch as Loki appeared in their clutch.

Yes, he was still restrained. If they let him go earlier because they were trying to catch him again, they would just end up freeing him.

Fortunately, Mae was able to stop them at the perfect time.

"Well..." Loki smiled playfully. "I guess you’ve caught me. Congratulati—"

*Pak!*

A slap abruptly landed on Loki’s cheek.

They saw Bella actually slap him.

"I would have done that if you hadn’t done that." Nyx nodded in agreement. "I finally understand why Nathan is so worried. He’s really pissing me off."

"I guess I deserve that." Loki chuckled. "This slap is... character building!"

Nathan stepped forward and said, "Don’t expect me to treat you kindly, Loki. The story about Asgard has told me enough that I really shouldn’t play around with you. That’s why I have to bind you with a contract."

"Hehe. You don’t have to. I would have helped you without the contract."

"No. I’m more comfortable having you follow us with a contract." Nathan shook his head. "I’d rather not summon you again than let you run rampant without a contract."

"..." Loki paused for a moment before sighing helplessly. "I guess I’ve done enough to deserve that. Fine..."

Nathan wanted him to sign a contract that would make Loki support and teach Bella so that her illusion ability could reach the level of a true god.

With his guidance, Bella would definitely grow by leaps and bounds. However, she might end up falling into his tricks while training under him.

That was why Nathan prepared many clauses so that Loki didn’t have any gaps to exploit, including the fact that Loki could only tell the truth and was unable to withhold any information that would cause the other party to misunderstand his words.

More importantly, he added one clause whereby Nathan was allowed to change the contract without asking for his permission or notifying him. This way, he could patch up any loopholes Loki could still find in the contract he had made, as detailed as possible.

Nathan shrugged. "Well, you have many children. I imagine that you can change your gender at any time."

"Of course!" Loki suddenly turned into a female with long black hair and a body that was sexier than any of Nathan’s wives.

"I feel like killing him." Selena raised her wand.

"Would you like to try to have a child with me?" Loki playfully winked.

"No. Since you have used your power to peek at my memory, you should know that movies and fiction aren’t the only things I’ve read, right?" Nathan grinned. "I have read a lot of hentais or porn. Well, don’t you think your ability to give birth to extraordinary children can be put to use?

"For someone like you, I recommend something like a mind break tag and bring you to a ranch." Nathan smiled.

"..." Loki was a bit speechless. This was the first time he had seen someone unleash such a cruel method on him. "Ehm... Can you still cancel the summoning?"
