Chapter 1993: Killing The True God

As soon as they decided what to do next, Nyx immediately released all her power.

The surging energy of darkness started to envelop her.

"!!!" Even the true god was startled by the sudden increase in power, not to mention that Nyx was originally a true god. It wouldn’t be easy to defeat the current her.

Just for a few minutes, she would be standing on equal ground against this true god.

Nyx rushed toward the true god and made a few hand seals.

The darkness around the true god surged.

"Haaa!" The true god clenched his fist, releasing a force that blew away the darkness.

"I have seen that power before, but much better than yours." Nyx smiled and snapped her fingers.

The darkness that was supposed to get blown away suddenly released the second burst, which ended up overwhelming the force. With the darkness surrounding him, the true god really needed to get away from this place before counterattacking.

The true god clicked his tongue and punched to the left, blowing away the darkness. He wanted to punch in Nyx’s direction, but Nyx would definitely stop him, which resulted in the others attacking him.

Unfortunately for him, this was what Nyx expected him to do.

The moment he came out of the darkness, Ying Zhen suddenly came and cut the residual energy that blew the darkness away. The plum blossom started filling the area only to stop moving and float in the space, showing that there was no other force that carried it.

With the path clear, Lilith and Risa formed a massive blood sphere, trapping him inside.

The true god wanted to escape from the blood sphere, but Amphitrite created a few more layers by simply pouring water into blood, turning the seawater into blood.

"Haaa!" The true god unleashed even more power to break apart the blood sphere. As if knowing he was more than capable of doing it, Selena took care of the next step.

The blood that was supposed to be dispersed suddenly returned to normal and began moving toward the true god as though it was going to crush him.

"This..." The true god gritted his teeth. Selena’s ability was the most annoying. Her blood ability was free. It could be as thick as it wanted or it could turn into a crystal if it wanted to.

This time, the blood sphere formed a massive crystal, looking like a sea urchin with the true god in the center.

Still, as one would expect from a true god, even with their combined power, it was hard to actually harm him.

That was why this ability was only meant to restrict him.

Nyx came from behind and extended her power.

"!!!" The true god hurriedly turned around and struck her as well.

"Gah!" Nyx spat a mouthful of blood as the true god’s hand pierced through her abdomen.

However, this was the time he realized he had made a mistake. Nyx was actually baiting him to do that attack. Instead of attacking, she planned to seal his movement.

"Got you." Nyx smiled. Even though she had used the ability that made Zeus cower in fear, she still hadn’t returned to her prime. That was why she had to do something unique to restrain his movement.

The true god was trying to pull out, but Nyx grabbed his arm. The darkness that she had been keeping spread into his body right away.

"Khhh!" The true god realized that if he let Nyx succeed, he would die. With almost no hesitation, he actually cut his own arm.

The darkness failed to spread, so he thought he could still fight. Nyx was also severely injured, so he could take her down.

"It’s surprising that you will show no hesitation in severing your own arm, but that’s definitely the biggest mistake you’ve made so far." Nyx smirked.

Why would someone reveal their blood to those who controlled blood?

"!!!" The true god suddenly realized his mistake. If it was any other opponent, it would have been a wise choice.

Suddenly, the blood he spilled was coming back to him. They stuck to him so that the channel would remain open.

He turned his head around and saw Lilith and Risa were the ones doing it. However, the real threat came from Selena.

"Blood, heed my command! Abstract Painting."

The blood suddenly exploded as though they were coloring the universe in a random way However, it didn’t stop there. The explosion continued inside his body.

When he still had his arm, the access to the blood in his body was never there. He even reinforced that seal with his own power.

However, Nyx opened the path, Lilith and Risa maintained it, and Selena took advantage of it.

"Gah!" He spat a mouthful of blood. His eyes, his nose, even his ears were spurting blood. His body got distorted a bit because it was barely containing the blood explosion.

The damage to his internal organs was massive.

Realizing that the situation had been turned, the true god rushed toward Nyx and grabbed her. "I’m taking you down with me!"

Nyx smirked. This was what she had signed up for. That was why Nyx did one more thing.

She released everything she had just for one moment.

The force the true god released was overwhelming her darkness, but her darkness slipped in like a small needle piercing a balloon. The moment it reached his fist, it popped.

Bam!

"Aargghhh!" The true god screamed in pain because his remaining hand became a mess. Four of his six fingers had snapped, his wrist was broken, and the bones shattered into pieces.

The true god struggled, but he managed to endure it and tried to reach Nyx, but the latter simply said, "Perfect timing."

Nyx suddenly disappeared, not because she had a teleportation ability, but because Selena had recalled her at the last moment. Nyx had done her job. With this damage, Selena believed she could kill the true god in less than three minutes.

Selena waved her hand. "We’re taking him down now!"
