Chapter 1994: Playing Around With Iris

There was a reason for Selena to worry about the entire group. She had chosen to fight the true god, but it didn’t change the fact that the group needed help.

After all, they didn’t have enough people to face all these gods.

"..." Flora was frowning all the time. Her divine spirits might have divinity and divine body, but it didn’t change the fact that their power was artificially increased by Nathan.

In other words, they didn’t achieve this by themselves. There was still a gap between them and other gods.

That was why whenever a fight broke out, Flora would have to pair a few of them to just face one enemy. In fact, they would most likely become her support as she released her power.

And because most of them were summoned when they were just normal spirits, not even great spirits, they had a hard time keeping up.

That was why it was hard for them to face a god on their own.

One god almost cut down her spirit, but Flora managed to send forth a bolt of absolute lightning toward this god, forcing the god to back off.

Another one came to a different spirit, but Flora overwhelmed her with the absolute ice element.

All this time, Flora had been on the defensive, making it harder for her to even help the others.

However, this was her role. She had to make sure that these gods would be busy until someone killed their opponent.

Machina remained on Flora’s side all the time, informing her about the battle progress so that she could help her spirits or the rest of the group. Without her, Flora couldn’t keep up for so long.

On the other hand, the rest of the team were also rushing to kill their opponents. They couldn’t let the situation continue. If one of her spirits died, it would be too late.

Noelle swung her sword, clashing her blade with another god who happened to wield a sword.

However, this god unleashed a torrential wind from his blade, which tried to disperse her power.

Noelle, on the other hand, combined the killing intent and hatred to amplify her power.

"The god clicked his tongue and chose to slide to the side, unable to endure Noelle’s strike any longer. In the end, the strike continued flying forward and cut a big asteroid in two.

Noelle didn’t let him escape. She immediately closed the distance again and kept swinging her blade to overwhelm her opponent.

Her strike went all over the battlefield, cutting a few asteroids and even destroying one moon.

Alavenya, on the other hand, was having difficulty in her opponent. Her opponent controlled the light element.

She kept moving the element in a way to restrict Alavenya, preventing her from getting too close. As a result, Alavenya couldn’t launch a single attack.

Alavenya had trained a lot, but as expected, facing a god was easier said than done. In fact, Nathan was considering how to make her stronger, just like Selena, Flora, and the others who had found their new path.

Still, even though Alavenya hadn’t reached that level yet, she was still the most stubborn and resilient person in the group.

Despite being injured, Alavenya hadn’t lost her focus. She maintained a certain distance as though she was waiting for the chance to appear.

And when it appeared, she immediately took it. It didn’t matter whether her body was covered in injuries or not. All those injuries would be fixed by her regeneration power.

Instead, the constant pressure from her made her enemy frustrated, which meant he had a higher chance of messing up.

Although her opponent was a problem, she still believed she could handle it by herself.

The most unexpected battle was actually against Iris.

"Come on, come on!" Iris smirked. She had summoned many laser guns she got from Machina. These guns weren’t normal guns anymore. They had been imbued with her divinity, so their power could hurt even gods.

"What is this...?" Her opponent was in confusion. How could Iris be this strong? What was her power?

One time, Iris blew her opponent away. He crashed into an asteroid, but a massive robot arm appeared right after.

He had to get away and saw the asteroid getting destroyed. But the next second, the shattered rocks had turned into a blade for that arm and tried to cut him.

He avoided it and tried to attack Iris, but Iris flipped around and flapped her mechanical wings.

These mechanical wings left behind many light spheres that turned into bullets, once again forcing him into a defensive position.

He had never seen someone fighting like this. Iris was covered in robotic arms and legs as well as exoskeleton, but her main body was still exposed. The wings maintained offense and defense depending on the situation.

Iris flew toward the god and suddenly flipped one more time. Another Iris appeared as though Iris had just split herself into two.

"A clone?!"

They came from different directions.

The god spread both arms, releasing his power in both directions to see which was the real Iris.

However, both Iris actually packed the same power, as though they were real.

"What?!"

The kick smashed him, but the one on the right made an additional kick, launching him to the nearby moon.

The other Iris turned into a weapon as Iris shot a powerful beam.

The beam exploded, breaking half of the moon in an instant.

"Gaaahhh!" The god was completely astounded, not understanding Iris’s fighting style.

Iris just smiled because this was her fighting style with the creation power. Before he could even regain his balance, numerous guns had appeared around him.

"Move, damn it." The god barely escaped the bombardment, smiling as though he had just survived another day, only to crash to metal.

"What? Stupid metal—?" He was startled and looked up. It wasn’t just metal.

Iris winked playfully. "Kaboom!"

The chunk of metal was actually a bomb she created. This bomb exploded and engulfed everything within a few hundred kilometers. It would have broken the moon if it hit the moon, but Iris wasn’t satisfied.

Four more bombs appeared around the first blast, and Iris simply snapped her fingers. "More boom boom!"
