Chapter 453 - 265: Master of Magic Item Crafting

"Welcome to All Things City."

Stepping out from the Teleportation Array, Tanner turned slightly, gesturing with his hand to guide Sunan and Lize, smiling as he spoke.

Following his hand, what appeared before them was a wide ring-shaped plaza.

The ground was entirely paved with precious white jade, intricately carved with dense patterns of runes, spreading from the center outwards, interweaving at the plaza’s edge to form Teleportation Arrays.

Sunan and the others emerged from one of these Arrays.

"This is the Teleportation Plaza of All Things City. All unauthorized Plane Channels to All Things City are prohibited by the All Things Association. All outsiders can only enter via the Plane Teleportation Arrays of the plaza. Without the plane coordinates, one cannot simply access this place."

Perhaps because he was back in familiar territory, Tanner’s mood visibly lifted, less restrained than before.

"Where shall we go next?" Lize asked.

Sunan said, "Let’s buy the Soul Purifying Flower first."

Tanner was more than willing, fulfilling his duty as a guide, leading the way ahead.

The three walked across the plaza, heading outwards.

Though All Things City carries the name of a city, it’s actually an entire plane. Though not as vast as the Starlight Continent and the Wolf Tide Plane, a single city being an entire plane hints at the immense scope of All Things City.

Its architectural styles were equally astonishing, with dark Gothic, red brick retro, and Oriental classical styles, alongside towers made entirely of crystal, coral, and even bone, giving it an exhibit-like feel.

The diversity among the travelers on the road was also eye-opening.

Fairy, giant, orc, elf... all kinds of races mingled together without any friction or conflict, giving a sense of natural harmony, leaving one in awe.

In the Starlight Continent, Lize’s ghostly form stood out, yet in All Things City, it seemed unremarkable.

Sunan, having visited All Things City in a past life, was unsurprised by this tableau of racial harmony.

However, it was Lize’s first visit to All Things City, and she couldn’t hide her astonishment.

"Isn’t All Things City supposed to allow only Wizards? Why are there so many alien races?" Lize asked, puzzled.

Sunan smiled and explained, "The alien races in All Things City generally fall into three categories: slaves, service staff to various industries in All Things City, or followers of Wizards. Normally, free non-Wizard life cannot enter here."

"Master Sunan is right."

Tanner chimed in with a smile, a bit surprised.

He had assumed Sunan had always been on the Starlight Continent, possibly visiting All Things City for the first time. But now it seemed Sunan knew quite a bit about All Things City.

Lize carefully observed the alien races along the way and indeed noticed that many of them bore slave marks.

"Does All Things City have a slave market, too?"

"Of course, All Things City hosts the multiverse’s largest slave market," Tanner replied proudly, "there, you can even buy giant dragons, divine beings, and legendary level legions of ten thousand."

Sunan smirked, "Can you buy Wizards too?"

Tanner’s smile froze, and he awkwardly said, "Master, you’re joking. Trading Wizard slaves is taboo. All Things City wouldn’t dare, as it’d incur widespread rage."

Perhaps to cover his embarrassment, Tanner swiftly changed the subject, "Master Sunan, let’s head to the East District. It’s the area with the densest material trade in All Things City. You’re sure to find the Soul Purifying Flower there."

Sunan nodded, "Lead the way."

So, the three shifted direction, heading for the East District.

Flying is prohibited in All Things City, but many places have Teleportation Arrays. Just insert a Magic Stone to use them and quickly reach any of All Things City’s open venues.

If you wish to view the city’s street scenes, you can rent a mount.

Sunan, taking the chance to leisurely stroll, wasn’t in a hurry in All Things City, enjoying the street view along the way.

Lize and Tanner followed his lead without objection.

With years of development, especially the spread of sub-Magic Energy Technology and Magic Energy Technology, the Starlight Continent was undoubtedly more prosperous and thriving than a millennium ago.

Yet even Flash City, the most bustling place on the Starlight Continent, pales in comparison to All Things City.

Here, magic energy products are ubiquitous; even random shop signs are adorned with precious Magic Stone Lamps, and magic energy fountains operating on magic stone power slightly enhance the activity of energy particles in the air.

The magic energy technology here has developed to its peak and is beginning to enter a higher level of Magic Crystal Technology.

Taking everything in, Sunan nodded silently.

If Magic Energy Technology continues to spread and develop, perhaps the current All Things City might become the future of the Starlight Continent.

It’s worth noting that in the city, the alien races mostly wore various simple fabric clothes or armor, while only Wizards wore robes, seemingly a mark of the Wizards’ exclusivity.

Consequently, as Sunan and the others walked, the alien races naturally parted to clear a path, their gazes filled with respect.

In such an atmosphere, Sunan soon lost his interest in wandering, heading directly to the nearest teleportation array point to transfer to the East District.

"The East District is home to thousands of associations. Unless something is too rare, you’ll generally find it here."
