At Bai Yi’s command, the sentinels pushed themselves up from the ruins. One of them went to call the doctor and medical staff, while the rest rushed to Huo Jiyang’s side.

Kneeling beside Huo Jiyang, Bai Yi took out a device from his spatial ring. As he turned on the small device, a virtual screen appeared above it.

Bai Yi pressed a few buttons on the virtual keyboard, then carefully scanned Huo Jiyang’s body. As he scanned Huo Jiyang, Bai Yi’s eyes never left the virtual screen.

Noticing his shock, another sentinel asked, "Brother, do you know this thing?"

The sentinel looked at him with wide eyes and nodded.

"Of course! I remember that back in the military academy, my professor who taught the history class briefly mentioned a vegetable named carrot from an ancient civilization."

He paused, frowned slightly, then doubtfully added, "However, I remember that carrots should be smaller than this one."

Listening to what he said, Bai Yi’s hand paused for a split second in the middle of filling the syringe with the giant carrot’s juice.

Watching the number keep decreasing by the second, not only Bai Yi but also the other sentinels were stunned into silence.

"This, this—!" A sentinel pointed at the virtual screen, too shocked to speak.

Bai Yi stared at the virtual screen for more than ten seconds before the number displayed on the virtual screen stopped decreasing.
