My Beast- Girls Aren’t for Sale

Evelyn’s eyebrows rose slightly.

That was a serious offer.

Even she understood how valuable those resources were. An A-grade contract from Supreme Heaven University wasn’t something an ordinary student could simply turn down. The cultivation resources alone were enough to make countless students fight for a chance.

Shin let the silence linger.

He didn’t rush them.

Instead, his gaze shifted toward Leon.

"As for you, Leon..."

He reached beneath his arm and pulled out a folder.

The folder landed softly on the table.

"We can offer you a D-grade contract. Conditional admission. Basic resources."

Leon glanced down at the folder.

His expression didn’t change.

There was no disappointment in his eyes.

No anger.

Not even surprise.

Shin watched him for a moment before continuing.

"However..."

His eyes moved toward Selena.

Then Evelyn.

Finally, they returned to Leon.

"We would prefer to sign Selena and Evelyn as independent students."

His tone remained calm.

Almost casual.

"They would be assigned new beast-soul masters upon enrollment. Senior students. Experienced ones."

The room went silent.

Completely silent.

Selena’s golden eyes narrowed.

The warmth that had been there moments ago disappeared.

Evelyn’s purple gaze turned cold.

Leon slowly leaned back in his chair.

For several seconds, he said nothing.

He simply stared at Shin.

His face remained calm.

But there was something different in his eyes now.

Something colder.

Something that made the air around him feel heavier.

Finally, Leon spoke.

"Let me make sure I understand this correctly."

His voice was calm.

Too calm.

"You want my beast-girls..."

He paused.

His eyes never left Shin.

"...but you don’t want me."

Shin held his gaze.

"Leon, I understand this is difficult to hear. But you must understand that Supreme Heaven University has standards. Your D-rank aptitude is simply—"

"My beast-girls aren’t available."

Shin blinked.

"Excuse me?"

Leon slowly pushed himself to his feet.

"I said..."

His voice dropped slightly.

"My beast-girls aren’t available."

There was no anger in his words.

That was what made them dangerous.

He wasn’t arguing.

He wasn’t negotiating.

He was simply stating a fact.

Selena immediately rose from her seat.

She walked to Leon’s side without hesitation.

Her fingers gently brushed against his hand.

Evelyn followed.

She moved to his other side and stood there quietly.

Neither woman looked uncertain.

Neither needed to ask the other what she intended to do.

They had already made their choice.

Selena looked directly at Shin.

"Director Shin..."

Her voice was cold.

"Leon is my beast-soul master."

She paused.

Her golden eyes hardened.

"He is the only one I will ever have."

Shin’s expression tightened slightly.

Selena continued.

"I already told your recruiter that."

Her fingers curled slightly around Leon’s hand.

"If you couldn’t understand it the first time, I’ll say it again now."

She stared straight at him.

"Your A-grade contract means nothing to me."

The words fell heavily into the room.

Evelyn nodded beside her.

"Same here."

Her voice was just as firm.

"If you want to sign us..."

She glanced briefly at Leon.

Then back at Shin.

"You sign Leon."

There was no hesitation in her voice.

"Take all of us..."

Her expression became colder.

"...or take none of us."

Shin’s faint smile disappeared.

His jaw tightened.

For the first time since the conversation began, the confidence in his expression cracked.

"Selena. Evelyn."

His voice became heavier.

"You need to understand what you’re giving up."

He opened the folder in his hands.

"This isn’t just money."

He tapped the documents with one finger.

"This is access to resources most students can only dream about."

He turned a page.

"Advanced cultivation chambers."

Another page.

"Rare materials."

Another.

"Access to national-level competitions."

His eyes lifted toward the two women.

"And with Supreme Heaven University behind you, you could reach heights that ordinary students will never see."

His voice carried more weight now.

"You could become legends."

Selena didn’t even look at the contract.

She didn’t care about the numbers.

She didn’t care about the resources.

She didn’t care about the prestige.

"I already have everything I need, Director Shin."

Shin’s expression hardened.

"Your beast-soul master is D-rank!"

His voice suddenly rose.

The sharpness of it echoed through the room.

"Think about your future!"

Selena remained still.

For a moment, she said nothing.

Then her expression softened.

Not because Shin had convinced her.

Quite the opposite.

She slowly turned her head toward Leon.

Her golden eyes met his purple ones.

"I am thinking about my future."

Her voice was quiet.

But there wasn’t even a trace of doubt in it.

She looked at him for another moment.

Then she smiled faintly.

"And it’s right here."

Leon stared at her.

For a brief moment, the coldness in his eyes disappeared.

A faint smile touched his lips.

Shin stared at Selena.

Then he looked at Evelyn.

Neither woman moved.

His fingers tightened around the folder.

"I came all this way—"

His voice became slower.

"Because I believed you would see reason. Supreme Heaven University doesn’t beg. We offer opportunities to the worthy."

"And we’re not interested."

Leon answered flatly.

"So if there’s nothing else—"

Shin’s face reddened.

He had expected bargaining.

He had expected hesitation.

Instead, a D-rank student was standing in front of him and rejecting one of the most prestigious universities in the nation.

"This is your last chance."

Shin pointed at Leon.

"You’re throwing away a golden opportunity for these two."

Leon looked at the finger pointing toward his face.

His eyes became colder.

A low laugh escaped him.

"Director Shin—let me be perfectly clear."

He stepped forward.

His presence suddenly filled the room.

"I don’t care about your name or your ranking. My beast-girls are not bargaining chips. They’re not commodities. And I will never—ever—sell them to anyone."

Shin’s expression twisted.

"You’re too arrogant for someone with D-rank aptitude."

Leon stared at him.

"Arrogant?"

"Yes."

Shin stepped closer.

"You have two talented beast-girls because of circumstances you don’t even understand. Without them, what are you?"

Evelyn’s expression instantly changed.

Selena’s hand tightened around Leon’s.

Leon remained completely still.

Shin continued.

"You’re wasting their potential."

"They could become legends."

"Instead, they’re following a D-rank master who doesn’t even have the qualification to enter our university normally."

Evelyn’s eyes flashed.

"You—"

Leon raised one hand.

Evelyn stopped.

Leon looked at Shin.

"Are you finished?"

Shin scoffed.

"No."

He lifted his chin.

"You should be thanking Supreme Heaven University for even being willing to take you."

Leon slowly nodded.

"Interesting."

He stepped closer.

"Let me count."

Shin frowned.

"Count what?"

Leon raised one finger.

"First, you entered my room without permission beyond the invitation."

A second finger.

"Second, you insulted my cultivation aptitude."

A third.

"Third, you tried to separate my beast-girls from me."

A fourth.

"Fourth, you insulted their choice."

A fifth.

"And fifth..."

Leon smiled.

"You pointed your finger at me while telling me to be grateful."

Shin’s expression became ugly.

"So what?"

Leon answered quietly.

"So you’ve used up your chances."
