Ten Lucky Draws: I Got Ten SSS-Rank Talents!
Chapter 56: The Vanguard of Humanity (2)
Ding!
[Unprecedented Global Achievement Unlocked!]
[Player: Leon Wes has successfully breached a High-Tier Realm (Sector 12).]
[You are the FIRST player among the surviving 93,412,801 to cross a regional Boundary Gate.]
[Your absolute dominance over the progression curve has been permanently recorded in the annals of Eternal Heaven.]
[Reward 1: Title Acquired — "The Vanguard of Humanity" (Mythic)]
[Reward 2: +50 to all Base Attributes.]
[Reward 3: 1x Origin Skill Rune (Unranked)]
Leon staggered, dropping to one knee as the reward hit his body.
Plus fifty to all base attributes. Instantly.
It was the equivalent of gaining ten levels in a single second. The sheer influx of raw, unfiltered stats slammed into his core. His muscles condensed, his mana pool expanded so violently that a shockwave of displaced air exploded outward from his body, cracking the stone beneath his boots.
He gasped for air, his vision swimming for a moment before Perfect Body forced his biological structure to adapt to the new, god-like baseline.
He pulled up his status panel, his hands actually trembling slightly from the sheer rush of power.
[Status]
Name: Leon Wes
Level: 55 (Adept Rank)
Title: The Vanguard of Humanity
[Attributes]
STR: 140
AGI: 145
CON: 160
INT: 185
Stat Points: 0
His Intelligence was nearly at two hundred. His Constitution made him virtually indestructible to anything below the mid-Adept tiers. He had walked into Sector 12 as a powerful player, but the system reward had just elevated him into an entirely different stratosphere of combat capability.
He looked at the new title.
[Title: The Vanguard of Humanity (Mythic)]
[Description: Awarded exclusively to the absolute first human to breach a high-tier sector during the Elimination Cycle.
Passive Effect 1: Ambient mana absorption increased by 100%.
Passive Effect 2: Grants absolute immunity to all environmental pressure, gravity manipulation, and atmospheric hostility up to Level 100 zones.
Passive Effect 3: NPCs of all factions will instinctively recognize your status as a pioneer, heavily increasing baseline reputation and unlocking restricted dialogue/quests.]
"Immunity to environmental hostility," Leon murmured, a massive grin spreading across his face.
In a high-tier realm like Sector 12, the environment was often deadlier than the monsters. A sudden gravity spike or a pocket of corrupted air could instantly kill a careless traveler. With this title, Leon was effectively immune to the world itself. He could walk through a volcano or a void-storm without taking a single point of damage.
He checked his inventory for the final reward.
Resting next to his Abyssal Blueprint and his millions of Eternal Coins was a small, perfectly spherical rune that looked like a trapped galaxy.
[Origin Skill Rune]
[Rank: Unranked (Scales with User)]
[Description: A blank canvas of pure, primordial magic. This rune does not contain a pre-set skill. Instead, upon absorption, it reads the user’s deepest combat desires, current talents, and fundamental nature to generate a bespoke, highly personalized Active Skill completely unique to the user.]
Leon stared at the orb. A custom skill. A spell engineered entirely around his build.
He didn’t hesitate. With monsters lurking in the crystalline forests below ranging from Level 50 to Level 80, he needed every advantage he could get.
He crushed the Origin Skill Rune in his hand.
The trapped galaxy exploded, wrapping around his arm in ribbons of starlight before sinking directly into his chest. His Supreme Comprehension SSS-Rank talent seized the primordial magic, rapidly analyzing his existing arsenal: the devastating AoE of Arcane Requiem, the melee execution of Verlimon’s Judgment, the mobility of Wraith-Step, and the absolute defense of Aegis of the Void.
The system processed his desires. He didn’t need another shield. He didn’t need another generic blast of magic. He needed a way to control the battlefield on a god-like scale.
Ding!
[Origin Skill Generated.]
[Skill Acquired: Sovereign’s Eclipse]
[Level: 55]
[Rank: Transcendent (Growth)]
[Description: The user temporarily severs a localized area (100-foot radius) from the system’s ambient mana network, plunging the battlefield into absolute, suffocating darkness. Within the Eclipse, all enemy buffs are stripped, enemy active skills cost 300% more mana to cast, and the user’s spatial mobility (Wraith-Step) has zero cooldown. Cooldown: 1 Hour. Mana Cost: 50% of Maximum MP.]
Leon let out a low whistle.
Sovereign’s Eclipse. It wasn’t an attack. It was a localized domain expansion that completely crippled his enemies while turning him into an omnipresent god of death within the shadows. Combined with his Hellfire Howl and Arcane Requiem, anyone trapped inside the Eclipse would be systematically dismantled.
Leon dismissed the interface, feeling more complete, more fundamentally powerful than he ever had in his life.
He walked to the edge of the cliff and looked down at the sprawling, vibrant expanse of Sector 12.
He was the only human being in this entire realm. There were no player factions here. No Crimson Dawn trying to monopolize the iron trade. No desperate Initiates begging for food. It was just him, the system, and a landscape filled with monsters that could crush mountains.
A high-pitched, echoing shriek pulled his attention toward the sky.
Soaring out from behind the crimson moon was a massive, winged serpent. Its scales were made of glittering sapphire, and arcs of pure lightning trailed from its wings as it dove toward one of the floating islands in the distance.
[Monster Detected: Aether-Coatl]
[Level: 62]
Leon watched the massive beast hunt, his golden eyes tracking its speed and the devastating yield of its lightning strikes.
"Level 62," Leon noted quietly.
He drew the Bloodfang Edge with his right hand and summoned Stormcaller’s Conduit into his left. The Sovereign’s Mantle fluttered in the heavy, mana-rich wind of the cliffside.
He was Level 55. He had ninety-three million people behind him, and an entire world of gods and monsters ahead of him.
"Let’s get to work," Leon said.
He stepped off the cliff, triggering Storm-Strider, and plummeted down into the glowing, crystalline forests of Sector 12.
