Kiya also couldn’t care less about the auction and ran out after her.

He meant to please her, but instead, Kiya found that he had messed things up again. This made Kiya very frustrated.

“Paige, wait for me.”

Kiya had a smooth life, always surrounded by admiration, never had he faced such defeat.

What exactly does he have to do to make this woman happy?

“Paige!” Kiya caught up with her, grabbing her hand to stop her from leaving, “Don’t go.”

“What do you want now? I’ve already said it, I can’t appraise antique porcelain. If you’re worried about buying a fake, you’d better find someone who knows better to help you.”

“I thought you liked it.” Kiya said forlornly.

Paige, annoyed with him, shook off his hand and said, “Stop saying ‘you thought, you thought’, okay?”

“Fine. Since you don’t like it, let’s leave then.”

Kiya grabbed her hand again, and Gavin, seeing them come out early, drove the car over.

“Sultan, are we heading back now?”

Paige said, “You go back first, I want to go to the porcelain shop.”

Kiya said, “Let’s go together, I’ve been meaning to learn pottery too.”

Paige glared at him, angrily saying, “Kiya, I’ve said, James Winslow and I are just friends, I’m asking you, can you stop using your filthy thoughts to think about my relationship with him?”

“I heard James likes Tessa, I’m sorry, I misunderstood before.”

Kiya’s apology left Paige unable to continue her complaints, she paused and said, “Since you know, stop following me.”

“I’m interested in pottery now, didn’t you say James’ pottery skills are impressive? It’s a perfect time for me to learn from him and pick up a few pieces from his shop.”

“…”

Kiya escorted Paige into the car, not giving her a chance to speak, “We still need a vase for our bedroom, why don’t we pick two from James’ shop and put in the violets you like?”

“…”

“I actually prefer white violets…” Kiya said.

The language of white violets is: let’s seize the chance for happiness. What a wonderful meaning, Kiya looked deeply into Paige’s eyes.

Even with Paige’s cold face, Kiya still followed her to James Winslow’s porcelain shop, and James was not surprised to see Kiya.

This man had made him out as an imaginary rival, not wanting him to be alone with Paige.

“Kiya, you’re here too?”

“Wanted to pick out some ceramics…” Kiya’s gaze swept over the shelves and he discovered that James Winslow had some skill; the pieces, whether in form or creativity, were quite good.

“Feel free to choose, if you find something you like, I’ll give you a 20% discount,” James Winslow offered, even personally making him a cup of red tea.

Paige teased, “He’s wealthy, you don’t need to give him a discount.”

Kiya said, “I’m earning less now, I need to be careful with my spending, I still have to support you and the kids. With the effort I’m putting in lately, who knows, maybe you’re pregnant again…”

Kiya never missed a chance to tell others about his close relationship with Paige. Even without a marriage certificate, it didn’t change the fact they were a couple with two kids.

“Kiya!”

“Contraceptives aren’t entirely reliable; who knows if there’s one that slipped through…”

Discussing this topic in front of others made Paige extremely embarrassed. She interrupted Kiya, “Didn’t you want to buy ceramics? Go pick something from the shelf.”

James Winslow knew Kiya’s real identity well; the wealth and luxury of the Abyanabad Royal Family were no secrets online.

“If you’re a poor man, then there are no poor people in this world,” James Winslow muttered.

Paige went to look at James Winslow’s work. He was currently making a set of cartoon figurines, commissioned by one of Paige’s friends. She picked up an adorable doll, holding it in her palms, reluctant to put it down.

“So cute… lifelike, just like the real thing.”

With Paige’s help, James Winslow’s business had improved, and Paige and James Winslow had discussed plans for expansion.

In the future, James Winslow would only be responsible for designing, they’d hire a few people for pottery, and Paige would handle sales.

“This one’s white porcelain, I’m planning to make it into colored…”

“How will you make it colorful?”

Both loved ceramics, when together, they got carried away chatting about it, forgetting Kiya’s presence. Kiya watched them with cold eyes, and suddenly, a slip of the hand, a wide-mouth vase broke with a crack.

Both of them turned to Kiya, their gazes filled with reproach and heartache, such a beautiful piece destroyed just like that.

Kiya said innocently, “Sorry, I didn’t hold it steady just now.”

“Kiya, you did it on purpose, didn’t you?” Paige asked, infuriated.

Kiya chuckled, “I’ll just buy it then.”

James Winslow was a bit troubled, “That vase was already reserved by a customer, and was supposed to be sent out today…”

Paige, worried, asked, “What should we do then?”

“I’ll call the client and explain what happened, see if they can allow a few more days…”

Since it was already broken, James Winslow couldn’t do much but summon the courage to ask the client for a few more days.

Paige apologized, “I’m sorry.”

James Winslow laughed, understandingly saying, “It’s not a big deal, ceramics are slippery and easily fall to the ground.”

Things weren’t that simple, Paige knew Kiya was unhappy about her talking with James Winslow and not paying attention to him, so he made a commotion on purpose.

Not wanting to air their dirty laundry, Paige couldn’t expose Kiya on the spot and could only smile awkwardly.

Paige worried that Kiya might “accidentally” break more ceramics in James Winslow’s shop, so after discussing things with James Winslow, she left early.

In the car, Paige held it in for half the drive, then couldn’t contain herself and blew up at Kiya, “Kiya, you’re way out of line, how could you break the vase?”

“It really slipped.”

“Who are you trying to fool?”

“Didn’t I compensate for it?”

Paige said seriously, “It’s not about the money! Kiya, you were really out of line.”

“I’m sorry.”

Paige sighed, saying, “Please, next time, don’t come along.”

“Okay.”

Kiya agreed so straightforwardly it surprised Paige, she asked unbelievingly, “Really?”

“Of course, it’s true.”

Paige couldn’t overly reprimand him, seeing that his attitude in admitting fault was good, there wasn’t much else she could say.

The car fell into silence, Kiya took her hand, and as he touched it, his hand started to wander.

Paige glared at him, Kiya innocently asked, “What’s wrong?”

“You tell me?”

Kiya pulled the woman seated far from him closer, he laughed, “Later I’ll take you to a special place.”

“I don’t want to go anywhere, I want to go home.”

“No rush.”
