The Boys: Viltrumite Evolution Panel
Chapter 230 Returning to the The Boys, Giving Advice to Homelander
Little Athel had also grown into a handsome teenager, roughly around the same age as Mark.
This child perfectly inherited Lucas’s Viltrumite genes and was also the best vessel for Chaos Magic. Not only was he extremely intelligent with a photographic memory, but he also mastered human science and knowledge in an extremely short period of time.
At such a young age, he had already become a renowned teenage genius scientist.
This was the correct way to use Super Intelligence.
Right, Superman?
When Athel turned eighteen, Lucas took him to the edge of the Universe, conducting a power test within a dead galaxy.
The test results secretly startled Lucas; the Chaos Magic inside little Athel’s body had already reached the height Wanda once had, and it was still skyrocketing at an astonishing speed.
This strand of Chaos Magic was somewhat different from Wanda’s; it seemed to be self-generated by Athel. The stronger his physical body became, the stronger the Chaos Magic would be.
And Athel’s pure physical strength had already reached the macro-planet level.
It was already about the same as Regent Thragg. (If I remember correctly)
Afterward, with more real-combat polishing, stepping into the single Universe would be a breeze, while the multiverse would require some fortuitous encounters.
"Father, I think I’m running out of breath!"
The two of them had stayed in the Universe for over six months, and Athel’s cheeks puffed up.
A defect of the Viltrumite gene.
Lacking the ability to breathe in space, he could only rely on his own mighty lungs, even at the macro-planet level.
"Alright, you can use Chaos Magic to create an oxygen barrier."
Lucas nodded.
Only then did Athel wave his hand to isolate himself, letting out a long breath of foul air.
"Next time I need to bring a few more oxygen tanks to increase my endurance!" Athel said with lingering fear, not expecting that despite being so strong, he had almost suffocated to death in deep space.
"When you grow a bit more, you probably won’t be in such a sorry state." Lucas patted his son’s shoulder.
He once again thought of his eldest son on the continent of Westeros.
His eldest son hadn’t started off this high.
It seemed that this thing was just like adding flour when there is too much water, or adding water when there is too much flour—the stronger and closer the strengths of both parents were, the stronger the starting point of their offspring would be.
The children born during the Douhuang stage had different bloodline endowments compared to those born during the Doudi stage.
The father and son returned home.
Wanda and Jean welcomed them.
"Why were you gone for so long?" A hint of reproach flashed in Jean’s beautiful eyes.
Over the past decade or so, this woman had also encountered quite a few opportunities; Lucas had managed to get her the second piece of the Phoenix Force for her to digest and absorb, and the relationship between her and Lucas had advanced by leaps and bounds.
But regarding the matter of offspring, Jean didn’t quite agree.
Since it was impossible for Wanda to speak proactively, Lucas didn’t intend to force it either, though he really wanted to see if having another child would result in having Phoenix True Fire in one hand and a giant Viltrumite iron fist in the other.
But that could only be discussed later.
That afternoon, Lucas sat on the soft sofa, looking at the two women in the kitchen. With the heavy aura of worldly fireworks lingering in the air, he couldn’t help but let out a soft chuckle.
It was also time to go back.
"System, initiate World transition."
[Ding! Command received! Initiating World transition using the MCU main plane as a transit station...]
The void rippled like water waves, and Lucas’s figure slipped into the void, while the different Worlds around him flew backward at an extremely fast speed.
In a flash.
The familiar skyscrapers reappeared before his eyes.
Lucas had already returned to The Boys main Universe. Everything here was no different from when he left, and Lucas hadn’t forgotten to lock the time of the MCU Universe. After decades of family cultivation...
...Lucas faintly gained the aura of a good man, with his eyes holding a bit more depth and gentleness.
Normal life on Earth could indeed transform the mindset of a Viltrumite.
The next day.
Lucas returned to his office chair and eagerly tallied his spoils; he had gained quite a lot during this trip.
Not only did he bring back the Calcified Speed Force, but it also contained Supergirl and Cage Superman. Secondly, there were dozens of top-tier armor sets he had swiped from Tony’s side. Just equipping an ordinary person with this technology would allow them to fight evenly back and forth with Homelander.
Furthermore, there were hundreds of Pym Particles from Dr. Pym, which could shrink an Iron Man armor down to the size of a palm-sized action figure.
Not to mention all sorts of other miscellaneous items.
Green Lantern rings, treasures from Asgard’s treasury, various black technologies...
"Hehehe, later I’ll set up a Guardian Museum and put all of them inside!" Lucas couldn’t suppress the corners of his mouth.
For an ordinary collector to get some items used by celebrities would already be considered awesome.
He directly got the originals.
However, when thinking of the Calcified Speed Force, Lucas considered whether he should release both Supermen and teach Homelander a good lesson on what the hell a real Superman was!
And what it truly meant to say ’I don’t eat beef’!
Just at this moment, the office door was pushed open, and Homelander’s expression looked somewhat unnatural.
Lucas raised an eyebrow and put away his things. "Well, well, what a rare guest! Your expression looks like you just ate a piece of shit, what’s wrong now?"
The moment he saw Homelander.
Lucas reverted to his thunderous language system in a second.
All the self-cultivation of the past few decades was thrown to the winds. It was simply fucking strange!
Homelander stood in front of the desk, somewhat stiffly picking at his fingers, and muffled out, "Lucas... I forgive you."
"Huh?"
"I said, I forgive you, and I won’t hold it against you for teaming up with Butcher!" Homelander put his hands on his hips, but no matter how one looked at it, the expression on his face was extremely awkward.
"Oh, done talking? Then get lost!"
Lucas brushed him off like he was dismissing a beggar.
"I have something to tell you!" Instead of leaving, Homelander pulled up a chair and sat opposite Lucas. "Although everything you said before was complete bullshit and insulted my noble personality, one point was very correct. Regarding the matter of Butcher and Becca... I need to think of a once-and-for-all solution!"
"That child Ryan is growing up day by day and getting smarter. Sooner or later, he will find out about these scandals."
"If Butcher takes the video from back then and leaks it to the media, it will definitely deal a devastating blow to the relationship between me and Ryan."
Hearing this, Lucas looked at Homelander in some surprise, then nodded approvingly.
Homelander had finally recovered his brain.
Thinking back to when Homelander first appeared, he still knew how to use his brain to think about problems.
Later on, they just treated him as an external brain, coming over to leech off trending topics and constantly bickering out of jealousy.
Now he knew how to focus on the main issue.
"Since you asked, I will mercifully tell you!" Lucas crossed his hands and leaned back in his office chair. "There is a great method that suits you. Just like I said back then, actually get married to Becca, make a big fuss about it online, and legitimately build a family!"
"For the rest of your life, you can honestly live your days guarding the mother and son."
"As for Butcher sending threatening videos, you don’t need to care at all. That video from back then, even to an outsider, was clearly a consensual drunken fling, and it doesn’t count as rape at all."
Lucas pointed at Homelander. "As long as you always keep the title of the legitimate husband, leaking it would at most be a gossip news story. But the fact that you got married can instead win Ryan’s favor!"
"The room for maneuver is boundless; it’s all benefits and no downsides."
Homelander’s brows furrowed into a deep frown, his face full of resistance.
"No! I care deeply about Ryan, but that woman... she doesn’t deserve to be a member of our family! She is both afraid of me and absolutely impossible to agree to marry me!"
"Saying your brain is like a candle really isn’t wrong!"
Lucas glanced at him sideways and sneered. "Who does Becca care about the most? Of course, it’s Butcher! Using Butcher to threaten her, do you think she dares not to agree? Once you grab hold of her weakness, she will naturally cooperate with you obediently and play her part well in this show."
"Worse comes to worst, threaten her with Ryan!"
"She is a woman after all. Whether she’s fickle or hypocritical, everyone has weaknesses. As long as someone has a weakness, you don’t have to worry about them not obeying."
Homelander’s body trembled slightly, a flash of sudden realization crossing his eyes.
"It has to be you, brother! We really are good friends!"
