The Devil’s Reign:The first law of void
Chapter 37:Wing’s of Heresy
Lucifer's name no longer belonged to just the Academy.
It spread like wildfire across all five kingdoms.
Commoners called him salvation.
Nobles called him a disaster waiting to happen.
And the ones who understood power?
They called him a problem that shouldn't exist.
Two dragons dead.
A "commoner" standing at the center of it all.
The balance of authority was no longer stable—it was cracking.
And Lucifer?
He simply moved on to his next year like nothing mattered.
Beast Kingdom Arrival
Third year students of the Arcane Academy were transported to the Beast Kingdom.
A land of primal strength, divine rituals, and ancient rites.
At its center stood the Beast King—
A Pope-like figure who ruled not just with authority, but with faith and force combined.
The purpose of their visit was simple:
Baptism.
A ritual said to awaken hidden potential...
But only accessible to the elite-ranked students.
Carriages arrived one after another.
Nobles stepped out proudly.
Royals followed with arrogance.
And then—
Silence.
Because the Saintess was waiting.
The One She Waited For
Whispers spread instantly.
Student A: "She's waiting for someone?"
Student B: "A prince maybe?"
Student C: "No way... she wouldn't wait for just anyone."
Then—
A carriage arrived.
And the Saintess moved.
Directly toward it.
The crowd froze.
Because what stepped out...
was not a noble.
Not a prince.
Not royalty.
It was him.
Lucifer Morningstar.
Saintess of Light, Devil of Truth
She bowed slightly.
Saintess: "Hello. I am Ema. The Saintess of the Beast Kingdom."
Lucifer: "Lucifer Morningstar. The Devil."
Ema blinked.
Ema: "...You always introduce yourself like that?"
Lucifer: "Consistency is important."
Ema studied him carefully.
Ema: "You're not here for the baptism, are you?"
Lucifer: "No."
Ema: "Then why are you here?"
Lucifer smiled.
Lucifer: "To seduce you."
A long silence followed.
Ema: "...Come with me."
Lucifer: "Gladly."
A Walk Through Faith
The kingdom was a sea of sanctuaries.
Temples rose like mountains of stone.
Chants echoed through streets.
Ema walked beside him.
Ema: "We don't have entertainment like your kingdoms."
Lucifer: "So no alcohol, no brothels, no chaos..."
"...How do you people survive?"
Ema: "We find peace in our creator."
Lucifer laughed lightly.
Lucifer: "Your creator sounds like a terrible parent."
Ema frowned.
Ema: "That is blasphemy."
Lucifer: "No."
"It's observation."
Then his voice turned quieter.
Lucifer:
"If he truly cared... why are dragons burning kingdoms?"
"Why are people dying while angels do nothing?"
Ema: "It is a test of faith."
Lucifer stopped walking.
Lucifer:
"A test?"
"So suffering is entertainment?"
Ema: "That's not—"
Lucifer: "If a god is real..."
"...he doesn't test people."
"...he protects them."
Silence fell between them.
Ema couldn't answer.
Night of Baptism
That silence followed them into the night.
The cathedral glowed under moonlight.
And then—
It broke.
Thunder cracked the sky.
A dragon descended.
The Thunder Dragon.
Chaos erupted instantly.
Lucifer didn't move at first.
He simply watched.
Lucifer: "So it begins."
The Hidden Relic
Ema led him below the cathedral.
Deep underground.
A sealed chamber.
Inside—
Wings.
Not just any wings.
Phoenix wings.
Ema:
"We've protected these for generations."
"They choose their master."
Lucifer: "And if someone unworthy touches them?"
Ema: "They burn alive."
Lucifer tilted his head.
Lucifer: "Sounds fair."
Ema looked at him directly.
Ema: "You're the only one who can survive them."
Lucifer: "...That sounds like a bad compliment."
Rebirth of Power
The ritual began.
Pain followed instantly.
The wings resisted—rejecting, burning, consuming.
Lucifer's body was engulfed in divine fire.
Even he frowned slightly.
Lucifer: "...Annoying."
Then—
He adapted.
Healing surged through him faster than destruction could spread.
Pain lost meaning.
Control replaced suffering.
And the wings—
Accepted him.
The Sky Breaks
Above the cathedral—
The Thunder Dragon roared.
The Pope had already fallen.
Hope was collapsing.
And then—
The sky opened.
White wings erupted behind Lucifer as he soared upward.
Silence fell.
Even the dragon paused.
Dragon: "...A human?"
Lucifer: "A disappointment, apparently."
Battle of Gods and Lies
The dragon offered him a choice.
Dragon: "Serve us."
"We will give you everything."
Lucifer tilted his head.
Lucifer: "Funny."
"You already tried to kill me."
Dragon: "You misunderstand your situation."
Lucifer smiled faintly.
Lucifer: "No."
"You misunderstand me."
Lightning gathered.
A breath of destruction formed.
Enough to erase the kingdom.
But Lucifer didn't flinch.
Instead—
He moved.
Faster than thought.
Faster than lightning itself.
Dismantle
A single strike.
Then another.
And another.
Reality blurred.
The dragon's body stopped responding before it even realized it was dying.
Lucifer whispered:
Lucifer: "Dismantle."
Everything collapsed.
The Thunder Dragon fell from the sky—
Broken beyond repair.
System Response
System Notification:
Thunder Dragon eliminated
Massive Karma gained
New Title Acquired: King of Creation
New Skill Available.
Lucifer stood among falling lightning, wings burning softly behind him.
Lucifer: "...So I can increase my affinity with creation itself?"
Chirin: "That is NOT the part you should focus on."
Lucifer smiled.
Lucifer: "This world keeps getting more interesting."
And somewhere far beyond the kingdom—
Something far older than dragons...
finally opened its eyes.
