The dragon's harem

Chapter 2111: A War Crime

Chapter 2111: A War Crime

"How far is our destination?" Arad asked, and the general by his side threw a glance at the driver. "Half a day."

The orcs’ planet was bigger than the mortal world, so a single day here was significantly longer. From what Arad learned so far from the orcs, this meant it would take them about 19 hours, which was far too long.

If possible, Arad wants this to be over with in just a few minutes, and even though he knows it would be impossible, he would at least try. "Where is our destination exactly? Do you have a map?"

"Yes!" The driver gasped as he quickly poked the screen in front of him and caused a map to show up. "We’re here, on this blue arrow. The local headquarters is around here, beside the sea of sand."

"The sea of sand?" Arad closed his eyes for a second, expanded his senses all the way to the edge of his 4000 kilometres range, and could barely sense the edge of the sand sea, which was just a vast desert.

He looked at the map, "Let’s see... a round beach, multiple massive mountains, one jagged, and one with half of it mined... this edge here, does it have such a mountain?" Arad pointed at the map, and the driver paled.

"Yes, that’s Grloc’s bay, and there is a mountain there that we mined for iron." Judging from that, Arad could know where the edge of his 4000-kilometre range ends, and found out that the headquarters, which was out of his range, should be around 5500-6000 kilometres away.

This iron, horseless carriage was fast, far faster than any horse could ever hope to run, but still, as he expected, it would take them 17-20 hours to reach their destination.

"No problem, it’s just two steps away." Arad smiled, "Stop the carriage, I’ll take us there immediately?"

"What?" Even though the driver didn’t fully agree, his foot had already slammed down on the brakes. He wasn’t going to disobey any of Arad’s commands, no matter what. It wasn’t a matter of his life alone; this monster could reach everything, even his family, and he had proved it.

The truck came to an abrupt halt, and Arad pushed the door open. He would’ve struggled, but he had already seen how the general opened it by pulling on the handle. All of the other trucks guarding them also came to an abrupt halt, and the soldiers there, who were of Arad’s battalion, all looked up with confused faces.

"Who is that?" One growled as he didn’t recognize Arad’s human face, he had just seen his orc disguise, which sadly didn’t last for that long.

"It’s me; this trip would take a bit too long, so I’ll take us there."

They recognized his void, but they didn’t have any time to feel surprised or terrified. Arad immediately sucked all of the trucks into his stomach and put his hands together with a smile. "Don’t puke."

ZON! Arad, the general, the driver, and the entire battalion all disappeared as they were pulled into the void and spat out 4000 km away, right about the mined mountain, ten kilometres into the cold sky.

They cried and screamed, all of them were used to diving from the sky with parachutes, but none of them had a thing now.

The general glared back and saw Arad nonchalantly falling behind her. "What was that!?" She cried.

"A void step, a form of teleportation. It is a similar thing to what that soldier of yours use, the one called Arlo." Hearing that name, she paled: "Arlo... how do you know about him?"

That was supposed to be a secret mission, something that only the generals and a few commanders knew about. From all the reports she heard, Arlo’s team should’ve successfully sneaked into the otherworld undetected.

"Don’t worry, they are still alive. We detected them right away, but still allowed them to pass. They still think they are hidden." Arad looked at her with a smile, "As long as the negotiation goes well, we’ll let them live. If it doesn’t... well, I’ll probably let them live as well, unless they want to die."

"Forget about that! We’re falling! Falling!" The driver cried his eyes out, and Arad nodded. "Yeah, that is true."

ZON! With the second void step, they all appeared right above the city where the headquarters is, and the first thing they saw was the automated defence system kicking in and firing fifty missiles and a barrage of anti-aircraft bullets at them.

"What a warm welcome." Arad smiled as his eyes burned with dark magic, and his entire body swelled to his true height of five meters. His entire body was engulfed with purple gravity magic, and when he glared at missiles and the hail of lead heading toward them, his smile quickly turned into a cold glare.

Eight of those missiles were full of cursed metal, and while he didn’t sense anything he knew from the others, he could tell that they were just as powerful.

"Yo, dad. Those things are bad." Aether appeared floating beside Arad’s shoulder. "You’ll survive, but those green boys are fucked, hard. Not even their bones would remain can’t even feed them to dogs, nor the pigs."

"They’ll explode?" Arad replied, and Aether smiled, "Nah, they’ll bust, like they’ve been holding for ages. Everything from here to the ground is going to be fucked. Their city survives, but don’t ask me how they survived; I got no fucking clue."

Arad unleashed a wave of gravity magic, caught both the missiles and the bullets, singled out the nuclear warheads before the orcs on the ground could make them explode, and sucked the entire payload into his stomach.

In the command centre on the ground, they kept hitting the key, trying to make those missiles explode, but nothing happened. The engines kept roaring and trying to push, but Arad held the now harmless missiles in front of him with magic.

"I bet you they’re shitting themselves now. How about we scare them even more?" Aether smiled, "You disarmed them all, so how about you give them their toys back?" Aether then pointed toward the ground: "They are hiding beneath that large building."

"What? I can sense thousands of injured orcs there, young and old." Arad spoke and then glared back at the general floating behind him. "What’s that place?"

"That’s a hospital, where we treat the wounded and the sick." She replied with a grim face, and he gave her a sharp glare. "So, why is there a military base beneath it?"

She almost shat herself again as he glared at her, but this time, she was getting used to it, so she could respond. "We fight among each other quite often, and since attacking hospitals, schools, and civilians in general is a war crime, we hide bases beneath those facilities so the enemy can’t attack them without facing public backlash."

"That..." Arad growled, "Shouldn’t it be against the rules?!"

"As long as they can’t prove it. No one would listen after they blow up a hospital." The general replied, and he rubbed his face, exhausted just from hearing them.

"You know what, Dad? I was thinking this chick is hot; now, I’d rather have her soiled diaper than her; or any orc, for that matter. How about we stop playing their games?" Aether growled, and Arad couldn’t agree more.

At first, Arad wanted to throw the disarmed missiles back at them to scare them, but now, he changed his mind. Aether is right.

Holding the missiles above his head, Arad flew down at blinding speed and landed right in the hospital’s concrete yard. The doctors were freaking out, and the injured patients and soldiers were horrified.

One young orc, a girl who looked in her prime days, immediately charged at him in her wheelchair. She had lost both of her legs in the way, yet was still ready to fight. But the tiny pistol she had hidden beneath the blanket covering her lower half was never going to harm Arad. The bullets bounced right off Arad’s skin, and when he grabbed the girl by the face, he lifted her up.

"I like the lively ones." For a second, she thought he was going to crush her skull, but instead, she felt her lower half burning as if it were on fire. She screamed and glared down with one eye, only to see that both of her legs had grown back.

Arad dropped her down and extended one arm forward. "Well, let’s smoke them out." As he clenched his fist, the entire hospital was pulled from its roots and lifted into the sky. All of the patients inside have already been fully healed with Kali’s divine magic.

Far underneath the ground, the orcs gasped as they saw the street light reaching them. "Hiding behind the sick? You’re just giving me more reasons to crush you."

One of the orcs, a tall woman who wore full plate armor, growled at him. "You alien!" She immediately jumped at him, thrusting a spear at his face. "You killed them all! You destroyed the hospital!"

Arad didn’t even bother dodging; he let her hit his face, and her spear shattered. His arm moved faster than she could react, and before she could even know it, he was already holding her entire skull in his palm.

"Yeah, about that. They aren’t just alive; I’ve healed them all, even those who were at death’s door. No need to thank me." He gave her a glare. "Are you by any chance the one in charge?"

She kept trying to stab with the broken shaft, so he had to shake her a bit to force her to reply, and she could barely speak. "Yeah..."

"Good, good." Arad smiled, "So, we can do this the hard way, or the easy way. The choice is yours." He put her down, "Take your armor off, pull your pants down, and turn around. I’ll give you one slap. If you don’t and want the hard way, I’ll strip you myself, but I’ll give you two slaps."
