The dragon's harem

Chapter 2296: Arad’s Hibernation VIII

The desert shook as the massive Drakaina landed in its middle, and the endless sand mounds shook, vibrated, and flattened from the wind of her wings flapping. Godvia’s giant body landed right on the collapsed mountain where Arad had to hide in the past.

She lay around the mountain like a cat, looked around, sniffed the ground, and rested. "This place, it’s hot, but great. We had very few deserts in my home world."

Alcott who stood there looked at her for a long while before speaking again. "I hope you find this place cozy. At least, try to keep your ’Radiation’ under control."

she looked at him, and her massive eyes moved slowly. "Radiation, true. That’s how it is spelled." Until now, Alcott and the Godvia were speaking in the draconic language.

"Radiation is the thing you call the curse; the Metal my scales and body are made of is radiating even smaller particles, all of them deadly to living beings." She rested her wings down. "It is... hard to control, even for me."

Alcott, sitting on a large boulder, leaned on his arm and looked at her, trying to figure out how to handle her. She was far larger, stronger, and more troublesome than any dragon he had ever faced in this world.

"I can understand that... but did you try any other Void Dragon?" As he asked, she shook her head. "I tried, but they all couldn’t do it. I am... far too powerful for them to handle."

At that moment, Aether appeared beside Alcott. "Wrong! Bitch here is strong. Stronger than those soft dragons she faced, and her pride isn’t letting her die without a fight. The first bastard got his balls torn off, and he was eaten alive; the second ran for his life, and the last contender brought five great wyrm red dragons with him. Those dragons rotted alive from her radiation, and the void dragon who brought them died begging for his life."

Godvia looked at Alcott, easily spotting Aether, who was beside him. With her eyes opening wide, she growled. "Did you just call me a bitch? Lost soul."

Aether looked at her and smiled. "Yeah, I did, bitch. Got a problem with that?" He then crossed his arms and walked forward. "You want to die; that isn’t a lie. But half a lie. Don’t want an execution, but a violent death by combat. You don’t deserve a painless death; you don’t deserve an execution, but a slow, long, agonizing violation through a long fight to atone for the sin of killing everyone in your world."

Alcott looked at her, and then back at Aether. "And how do you know that?"

Aether smiled and looked at Alcott. "Of course, watched her, and depending on her actions... she could end up fucked up by someone else besides Dad." He giggled, and Godvia smiled. "By who? That one called Gojo? He can try, but he won’t win."

Aether snarled with a smug grin. "Uncle has more important problems to worry about. She doesn’t, though..." He pointed, and Godvia could feel the sharp claws on her back, she looked back, and could see her...

Titanic, white, and cold... Gamond opened her massive jaw. "Is she dangerous?" Gamond growled, and several things were wrong with this situation.

First, with dragons, you don’t just show up to another dragon and put your claws at them. To humans, it’s similar to sitting in a bunch in the park and then a random person shows up and puts their foot on your face. Most likely, it would end in a fight.

First, Gamond had just snuck on Godvia, a drakaina with enough power to brawl with Elder Void Dragons... something wasn’t right... as powerful as Gamond was, she shouldn’t be able to stand up to that level of power.

"She won’t be safe for long if you keep your claw on her." Alcott waved his hand, and Gamond’s massive head moved down. "She’d better get used to it then. A clear hierarchy has to be maintained." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Godvia looked back at Gamond and smiled. "Big words for someone burrowing the power of a god."

Aether looked at Alcott. "Gamond is borrowing Isdis’s power, the one that allows her to freeze time. Isdis could already use a weak version before becoming a god, and that power only got stronger afterward. But... Gamond’s old master, Isbert the Absolute Zero, could already do that. So technically, Gamond has more knowledge about that ability."

It didn’t take Alcott more than a single second to understand. Due to Gamond watching Isbert use that power for ages, she is now more skilled than even Isdis with such an ability. That also doesn’t mean that Gamond can literally stop time for a long time; for a drakaina of her power, even a short moment was enough.

Alcott then sighed. "Gamond, can you please let her be for now? I don’t think this world can endure you two fighting. How about the two of you wait at least until Arad wakes up?"

Aether nodded. "True, you two better stop. I did say that you win, but at what cost?" He looked at Gamond. "You’ll die, and she’ll be crippled beyond repair. The fight isn’t worth it, so sit down. If it helps make me convincing, I already saw that end; I’m a time dragon."

The two drakaina looked at each other, and then sat down. For a moment, Alcott took the time to sit and watch. Right in front of him, two Elder Drakainas -each of them powerful enough to wipe all life from the planet’s surface- were sitting right here, relaxed.

A thousand kilometers to the east, where a country was built at the edge of the forest, the people could easily see the two titanic drakainas on the horizon. One yellow and the other white, both creatures so comically large that they looked like a marriage even to the people of this world who were used to magic and monsters.

Wizards pulled out their spyglasses and magical instruments, checking the magic those two drakainas passively released, and it was horrifying. Even the weakest and least skilled of those wizards could easily classify them as above S-class monsters by several folds.

Jack did use the wizard networks of Merlin to send letters and warn the countless kingdoms, but still... all of them were on the edge with such titanic powers being this close.

But those kingdoms aren’t even the problem; its the dragons. Tens of them who had their territories surrounding the desert, were all looking toward the two drakainas, easily noticing that one of them belonged to Arad, and that the other one was here looking for Arad.

If Arad doesn’t show up to solve this problem, it could lead to a worldwide disaster. Those dragons have already sent warning messages to both the Floating Rainbow Mountain, where the chromatic dragons live, and the Flying Steel Fortress, where the metallic dragons live.

The two queens did give a quick reply... they are too busy to intervene.
