Myrion Whitmore laughed and said, "Okay, you’re thoughtful. Your master is restless, leaving his footprints all over the world. It’s normal he isn’t here, but I’m also happy that you’ve come."

Kaelithra Nixon handed over a Space Ring, "This is our prepared birthday gift, please accept it, Uncle."

Myrion Whitmore accepted it eagerly, exchanged a few polite words, and said, "There’s still some time before the birthday celebration. You can stay here peacefully, there are many interesting places around. I’ll have my son take you on a tour."

Kaelithra Nixon politely declined, "With the birthday celebration approaching, there’s a lot to do. No need to find someone specifically to accompany me; the Mysterious Void Sect is large enough for me to wander around leisurely."

Before Myrion Whitmore could say anything further, Kaelithra Nixon spoke, "We arrived early at Mysterious Void Sect because of an incident in the Red River Mountains. We worry it might be related to Mysterious Void Sect, so we came early to inform you..."

Myrion Whitmore asked, "What incident? Tell me."

Kaelithra Nixon replied, "This is Carson Flores, a rising star whom my master appreciates. He visited Grand Void Mountain to inquire about a type of Demonic Beast, according to ancient records. Once, there were traces in the Red River Mountains."

"Thinking there’s still time before Uncle’s birthday celebration, I accompanied him to Red River Mountains. Unexpectedly, he encountered some bizarre events there..."

Kaelithra Nixon gestured for Carson Flores to explain, and Carson Flores narrated his experiences of entering the Mist World within Red River Mountains.

Myrion Whitmore initially appeared amused, evidently not considering it a major issue, but after listening to Carson Flores’ account, his expression turned very serious.

Myrion Whitmore followed up on a few details, and Carson Flores responded, "Originally, I wanted to explore their origins, but because I was in a perilous situation, fearing exposure, I dared not speak much or linger, so I swiftly destroyed their altar and escaped."

Myrion Whitmore said solemnly, "Although we’re unsure of their background, the Red River Mountains fall under Mysterious Void Sect’s sphere. Building an altar there and intending to teleport, that indeed might target our Mysterious Void Sect."

"I will immediately send people to investigate the Red River Mountains. Regardless of whom they are targeting, it’s clearly ill-intended. Our Hanging Mountain will take this matter seriously."

"You bombed their altar, causing heavy casualties. This indeed disrupted their plans, helping our Hanging Mountain one way or another."

"Once I thoroughly investigate, I will update you and express gratitude. For now, you both can stay with ease and need not concern yourselves with this matter."

Carson Flores promptly agreed, "Alright!"

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, Kaelithra Nixon proactively took her leave, unsure what to discuss while with the elder. Moreover, as Kaelithra Nixon mentioned his son named Othric Whitmore several times, she felt he surely had intentions.

Kaelithra Nixon and Carson Flores were led to the guest residential area, settling into a standalone villa which was a privilege exclusive to noble guests.

Just after settling in, someone arrived at the door, none other than Othric Whitmore.

Kaelithra Nixon frowned and said, "I’ve already declined, haven’t I?"

Carson Flores laughed aloud, "Earlier when he spoke, I summarized roughly: ’I have a son about your age, a young hero, who matches well with you...’"

Kaelithra Nixon widened her eyes, "You mean he wants me to become his daughter-in-law?"

Carson Flores laughed again, "He’s old friends with the True Sage, his son and the True Sage’s beloved disciple, if they come together, wouldn’t the relationship become even closer?"
