Chapter 2969: Let the James Family Shed the First Drop of Blood!

The eyes of the three people flashed with panic, knowing that this situation had probably escalated.

Carson Flores capturing Jayson James was merely their suspicion. After all, Carson being able to command the Fifty Demons inevitably led them to think this way. It was for this reason they felt compelled to initiate the assassination attempt, hoping to put an end to the whole affair by killing Carson.

However, they failed.

Jayson James’s name being spoken from Carson’s mouth proved their previous suspicions were correct.

Indeed, Jayson James had fallen into Carson’s hands.

The middle-aged man who had previously ambushed Carson knew this matter wasn’t something that could be smoothed over with just a few words. He resolutely said, “Our James Family admits defeat. Name your terms. What must we do for this matter to be resolved?”

“Resolved?”

Carson’s face showed a cold smile: “Your James Family acts decisively, I hear you have a total of twelve Great Land Prime Immortals, five of whom are Superior Grade. Excluding Jayson James, three of them have come at once, leaving only one at home to defend the family!”

The middle-aged man cautiously replied, “The one at home is Ancestor James. He long ceased to concern himself with worldly matters, focusing on seclusion and comprehending the Heavenly Dao…”

Carson nodded: “Twelve Great Land Prime Immortals. What about the other seven?”

The middle-aged man replied, “Four are at home, two are in the army, one is working at the War God Mansion.”

Carson nodded slightly and asked calmly, “How did you find me? Who passed the message to you?”

The middle-aged man’s eyes showed a moment of hesitation before he finally spoke, “Because of previous events, we have always been monitoring you. When you left the camp, we followed you…”

“Interesting, even at this point, you’re still trying to take all the blame upon yourselves, intending for the James Family to bear this responsibility.”

Carson’s voice was icy, his gaze sharp as a blade when he stared at the middle-aged man, “Can your James Family shoulder this responsibility?”

Carson turned, his eyes suddenly becoming Fire Eyes, and red flames erupted from the fallen and withered man on the left.

True Solar Fire!

In less than a second, the man’s entire body was wrapped in blazing True Solar Fire. The fierce flames scorched his body violently. He struggled and screamed, but to no avail.

The middle-aged man’s face changed dramatically, fear spread across his face as he shouted, “Stop, I’ll talk!”

But Carson ignored him and just quietly watched the raging True Solar Fire.

Even though the man was a Superior Grade Great Land Primordial Immortal and his body had reached an immortal state, his severe injuries left him unable to withstand the True Solar Fire released by Carson.

The screams quickly faded, and his body, his Primordial Spirit, were all incinerated into ashes by the raging True Solar Fire!

Carson waved his hand, extinguishing all the True Solar Fire instantly as if it had never appeared, leaving the James Family man dead, his soul dissipated, vanished into dust.

The remaining two men turned ashen, their eyes filled with terror as they looked at Carson.

They finally realized that though Carson seemed harmless and polite outwardly, inside he was cold, decisive, and ruthless!

Carson turned his gaze to the middle-aged man, asking calmly again, “How did you find me?”

The middle-aged man dared not hesitate again, fearing that if he delayed even a little, under Carson’s gaze, he would turn into blazing flames and then into ashes.

“Taliesin Compton! Taliesin Compton sent the message!”

The man beside him, fearing he would be the next target, hastily added, “We knew you went to the Spirit Ascension Hall but had no other information. Days ago, Taliesin Compton suddenly sent a message saying you had reached Lower Grade Peak, speculating you’d leave the camp to attempt a breakthrough, and instructed us to watch you.”

“We didn’t know exactly where you were hiding. After all, we dared not search too openly, but we guessed you’d go far from the camp to break through, though not too far. So, we stationed many people all around to observe.”

“Previously, when you comprehended the Heavenly Dao successfully, triggering the Innate Phenomenon, it was observed by James Family disciples who then informed us. We hurriedly came and struck while you were Crossing Tribulation…”

Carson sneered, “This time Taliesin Compton is not afraid of exposure? Giving you direct orders?”

The middle-aged man replied, “He sent people with oral messages, leaving no written evidence.”

Carson nodded, “I’ll settle matters with Taliesin Compton later. Since your James Family has persistently come to seek my life, it’s time to settle this account today!”

The middle-aged man, eyes wide with fear, asked internally, “How do you plan to settle it?”

Carson calmly replied, “If people don’t provoke me, I won’t provoke them. If people provoke me, I retaliate tenfold!”

The middle-aged man suddenly turned deathly pale, his voice becoming frantic, “What do you intend to do!”

Carson coldly said, “My knees are too rigid to kneel, my waist too straight to bow. So wherever I go, I offend people, because there’ll be those who think they’re superior by birth!”

“In their belief, small figures like me without background or power should grovel before them, obedient, without a trace of resistance. They even think bullying me is an honor for me.”

“Taliesin Compton thinks this way, Cyras Roth thinks this way, so does Theron Coffey, and your James Family too. Since that’s the case, I’ll show everyone how a small figure retaliates!”

“James Family struck twice, so let them shed the first drop of blood!”

The two Great Land Prime Immortals from the James Family turned ashen after understanding.

Carson had no intention of compromising. He sought an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. What the James Family did to him, he would repay tenfold!

He intended to annihilate the James Family!

Carson raised his hand, motioning twice in mid-air to seal the two men, then turned to Snow Zane, “Senior, I plan to visit the James Family. However, I probably won’t need your help. Just assist with the formation.”

Snow Zane smiled slightly, “Fine, I’ll enjoy the show!”

Carson summoned the Ethereal Pagoda, taking Snow Zane and Broken Heaven into the pagoda, unleashing the Demon Summoning Banner into the sky, blocking out the sun. All the Great Demons were collected into the banner except for the Black Dragon.

Carson leaped onto the Black Dragon’s head, standing atop it, holding the massive Demon Summoning Banner in his left hand. He gestured with his right hand, causing the two James Family men to float up quietly behind him.

Carson gently tapped the huge Demon Summoning Banner on the dragon’s head and declared loudly, “Set off! Next stop, the James Family!”
