The Fragrance of My Hot Patients
Chapter 385
Chapter 385: Chapter 385
"Who are you? Get out of the way!"
One of the men barked at Yan Rongrong, who had suddenly appeared to block their path.
Yan Rongrong glanced at the three of them and sneered, "Who I am isn’t important. What’s important is whether you’re going to hand over your phones willingly, or wait for me to take them myself."
"Phones?"
"That’s right!"
"Who the hell do you think you are? Why the fuck should we give our phones to you?"
SLAP!
Before the man who retorted could even finish his sentence, Yan Rongrong had already slapped him across the face. "I don’t want to waste my breath on you. If you know what’s good for you, take out your phones right now and open the chat logs where Lin Jiji hired you. Otherwise, what happens next won’t be as simple as just a slap."
When Yan Rongrong had only mentioned handing over their phones, the three of them were completely baffled.
But when they heard her mention Lin Jiji’s name, their expressions changed dramatically.
One of them asked in a low voice, "Who exactly are you?"
"SLAP!" The response he received wasn’t from Yan Rongrong’s mouth, but a slap even crisper than the last.
The stinging pain on his face made him fly into a rage out of shame and anger. "Cao Nima, I was trying to be nice because you’re a woman, but don’t fucking push your luck! Otherwise, I have no problem beating the shit out of a bitch like you!"
Yan Rongrong said disdainfully, "You? Beat me up?"
"Yeah, what about it?"
The man snorted, then immediately lifted his leg and kicked at Yan Rongrong.
These guys were just your average street thugs from Yang City. To call them thugs was generous; they were really just a few idle loafers who made a bit of money by bullying the weak.
Yesterday, they happened to overhear some students who wanted to get Lin Jiji’s autograph but had no way to approach him. This gave the thugs an idea: they would go to the hotel to corner Lin Jiji, get a few autographs, and sell them for cash.
When they went to ask for the autographs, they got into a small scuffle with Lin Jiji’s bodyguards. During the ensuing standoff, Lin Jiji appeared and dismissed the guards. While signing for the thugs, he asked if they wanted to earn some money. Once they all nodded, he promised them five thousand yuan to go to the hospital and stir up the crowd against Chenyang.
Five thousand yuan might not be much to others, but for street punks like them, it was an absolute fortune.
The men agreed without a second thought and began to incite and stir up the crowd.
They were pretty good at intimidating and swindling people, but their fighting skills were terrible. They had previously tried to extort protection money from some student-athletes, only to get beaten so badly they fled with their tails between their legs.
They couldn’t even handle a few student-athletes, so one could only imagine their fate against an expert like Yan Rongrong.
As the man lunged with a flying kick, Yan Rongrong easily sidestepped, raised her right hand slightly, and effortlessly caught his ankle. She then yanked it backward. With a RIP, the man’s crotch was torn wide open.
But he had no time to cover himself. The pull from Yan Rongrong had already thrown him off balance, and with a panicked shout, he stumbled forward.
BAM!
As he stumbled near, Yan Rongrong let go of his ankle, balled her hand into a fist, and punched him in the stomach. The intense pain sent him sprawling to the ground, wailing in agony.
"You two are next."
"Miss, wait—"
SLAP!
THUD!
The man on the left had lost his nerve. He started backing away, trying to beg for mercy, but before he could finish, Yan Rongrong’s slap landed. Whether it was the force of the blow or the man’s own fragility, he was sent sprawling to the ground.
The man on the right, however, was still defiant. Gritting his teeth, he lunged forward to attack.
But his half-assed kung fu was no match for Yan Rongrong. He barely had a chance to defend himself before she kicked him to the ground as well.
Yan Rongrong looked down on the three of them. "The phones. Are you handing them over or not?"
"You fuc—" The first man started to curse again, but halfway through, he saw Yan Rongrong’s foot coming straight for his face. He scrambled to pull out his phone and changed his tune, "Don’t... don’t hit me! I’ll give it to you!"
"I’ll give you mine too!"
A moment later, all three had handed over their phones.
Yan Rongrong glanced through them. There were no direct messages with Lin Jiji, but there were records showing that the same person had paid them to come here and cause trouble.
"Where’s this Brother Wei who paid you guys to make a scene?"
The bruised and swollen man pointed at the leader, whose hair was being held by Chenyang. "He... he’s Brother Wei. He’s the one who told us to come here. His phone has call recordings and chat logs with that celebrity."
"Call recordings?"
"Yeah. He was worried the celebrity would back out of paying us the rest of the money afterward, so he recorded their calls."
Hearing this, the corners of Yan Rongrong’s mouth curved up. ’With a recording, things will be much simpler.’
