Chapter 1249: Chapter 844: Fierce Battle Against the Evil God

On the battlefield of Blood Pit Fortress.

The massive head of the Abyss Evil God, covered with thorny bone spikes and bizarre horns, looked somewhat like a deer’s head from afar.

Suddenly, in the foul halo, it rose fiercely, and its body, flowing with lava and filthy blood, erupted with a piercing screech, causing the entire mirror space to groan.

"Vile usurper, rodent of Order. How dare you struggle under the gaze of the Abyss! I shall crush you, using your divine bones as torches to illuminate the moment of the fortress’s fall."

He roared, issuing threats filled with frenzy.

However, such threats were evidently of no use to Kana, being nothing but noisy nonsense.

"Dog of the Abyss."

Kana’s voice cut coldly into the chaotic roar, devoid of anger, with only the pure judgment to crush obstacles.

"The taste of being forced to gnaw on filth hasn’t taught you to retreat."

Before the words were finished, his hand, covered in precise silver with blood-red patterns, had fiercely struck out.

No complex brilliance, just an extreme concentration of silver light, like a blade that cuts through the Void, fiercely smashing into the crazily throbbing heart of the Evil God.

Various insane Abyss Evil Gods, there’s nothing much to say.

"Boom—Buzz—!!!"

The clash of divine power was no longer just an energy confrontation; it was the structure of space itself being violently torn, twisted, and wailing.

An immense scar in space, like a canyon, instantly erupted, carrying a terrifying shockwave engulfing two completely opposing forces.

The foul, heavy Abyssal Power of Chaos and the pure yet icy afterglow of Order—like a breached flood, fiercely broke through the dimensional barriers, crashing into the hellish battlefield of Blood Pit Fortress below.

The chaotic forces carried a ripping attribute, and the space couldn’t withstand this tearing.

This battle wouldn’t be like the previous divine war, causing no external impact; instead, as the battle progressed, it would continually project power outward, affecting the entire battlefield.

This was unavoidable after all, as it was a battle of the gods.

At that moment, above the fortress as though the foul Abyss Pandora’s box had been opened.

The Abyssal Power of Chaos poured down first like a thick ebony tide, targeting a defense area on the left wing of the fortress led by the veteran Luft.

"Watch your heads!" Raelia’s warning tore through the air, but it was too late.

The ominous aura, containing endless malice and erosive power, suddenly engulfed over a dozen Night Watchers.

Their armor instantly emitted a piercing, acid-corrosion-like sound, and the Order shields flickered uncertainly; the warriors nearest let out muffled cries of pain.

Black web-like patterns visibly emerged on their exposed skin, as though their strength had been drained, making their movements incredibly sluggish.

The demons attacking the walls, however, seemed as though hyped on stimulants, their scarlet eyes erupting with increasingly fervent bloodthirsty light, their claws and fangs growing sharper, their movements more swift and frenetic, aggressively pouncing on the wounded Night Watcher defenses.

"Power, tear them apart!"

"I’ll peel their skin, gnaw on their bones!"

"Soul, delectable soul, let me nibble your head a bit!"

The demons spoke crazed words, their lust for attack escalating further.

"Hold the line! Holy Light Potion! Throw the Purification amulets!"

Luft, a veteran with a scarred face and grizzled beard, shouted hoarsely as he slammed a huge tower shield against a screeching inferior demon trying to climb the breach.

"Don’t let this devilish thing scare you! It’s nothing but the Abyssal cur farting! Didn’t you see Lord Venerable’s side starting too?"

As if to respond to his words, in the aftershock’s echoes, Kana’s pure afterglow of Order finally dispelled some of the filth, like a cold moonlight penetrating through dark clouds, falling down.

The torn rifts naturally couldn’t just let the power of the Abyss Evil God spill out; the power from Kana that clashed with it would also follow down.

Although merely a ripple within the aftershock, it carried peculiar effects of purification and stabilization.

All Night Watcher Warriors swept by the glow felt the heavy erosive sensation suddenly lighten, as though unburdened from a thousand-pound weight.

Their muddled minds cleared, and the Order power suppressed by the Abyssal Chaos power surged forth again.

"Ha! Lord Venerable’s strength sure packs a punch!" A young crossbowman Eddie frantically tightened the crossbow strings beside him.

With the cleansing glow sweeping past, his arms felt nimbler, and he wiped away the grime mixed with sweat, blood, and filth on his face, grinning at the shield soldier beside him:

"Can you see, Bill? More effective than the alertness soup Old Jack brews in our kitchen!"

Bill, the burly shield soldier called, grumpily smashed a flying debris of a gargoyle with his shield, cursing, "Shut up, Eddie! Focus on shooting your damn arrows! Talk more and I’ll thump your behind with the shield!"

But Bill’s tight lips involuntarily tugged upwards, the heavy tower shield swinging in his hands with greater steadiness and speed.

Kana’s power brought pure Order, perhaps also because the other party was a god of salvation, the dignified pure Order contained a indescribable gentleness.

For them, it was practically a spiritual remedy.

Above the towering bulwark, Raelia was the focal point of this flowing power.

The soul-burning fire blazed fiercely around her, like a lighthouse resisting the Abyssal erosion.

When the Order’s clear glow fell, she sharply perceived the subtle analytical information it contained towards the Abyssal power.
