Chapter 1305: Chapter 870: Majestic White Wall

On the dark, sunken land of the Abyss.

The visiting party continued onward.

They bypassed a ridge of black rocks formed from solidified lava.

The fortress, besieged by countless demons yet standing majestically, finally broke through the sulfurous mist, appearing clearly at the far end of their view.

"Are we there? I think I see it; that should be our destination."

The crowd looked into the distance.

The huge Blood Pit Fortress was not a traditional castle, its main structure showing strong traces of powerful order modifications on the original Abyss creations.

Cold and heavy metal structures were welded, casting onto jagged, peculiar rocks and bone-shaped supports, carrying a rugged, practical aesthetic filled with a collision of power and order.

The defense towers stood tall, the walls covered with cold-glinting machines, countless runes forming energy veins that flickered faintly across the fortress surface.

However, the most breathtaking sight was not the fortress itself, but the enormous, flexible pale golden light curtain that blossomed in the sky above the core area.

It was like a giant inverted bowl, covering the fortress and a vast surrounding area.

The light curtain emitted a pure, stable order power, combing through the surrounding environmental magic.

It wasn’t dazzling, yet it pulsated as if alive, blocking and purifying the chaotic Abyss energies from outside.

And it was this massive iron flower in the sky that was emanating this light.

It’s said the Night Watcher gave it a very straightforward name.

Iron Flower Structure.

It truly is very fitting.

Even at the edge area of this light curtain, Aryan and the others felt the constant oppressive feeling of agitation on their spirits easing significantly, the flow of magic seemingly becoming slightly smoother.

Is this the power of the "Iron Flower Structure"?

They finally saw firsthand this amazing creation that has been repeatedly mentioned in legends and intelligence, deemed the foundation for the existence of Blood Pit Fortress.

"I now believe what those people said, that the power of order dispelling chaos by the Night Watcher here is apparently much stronger than inside the fortress. Even from this far, I feel much more relaxed."

One of their teammates remarked.

What they once thought was exaggeration was gradually becoming reality as they drew closer to the Blood Pit Fortress.

On the fortress’s perimeter, some areas were littered with huge, terrifying demon corpses.

Some piled like small hills, others scorched into black crystalline forms by energy.

Besides this, thick dust covered the land, infused with a sharp liquid, becoming heavy and ceasing to swirl in the wind.

Yet even so, a gust of wind could still turn the visible surroundings momentarily into a gray haze.

"Wasn’t it said that when people here kill these demons, no corpses would be left behind?"

The dwarf in the team scratched his head, a bit puzzled.

This information, which seemed most unlikely to be wrong, seemed instead to be untrue?

"You fool, you didn’t finish reading the intelligence, did you? It said it was the Night Watcher, or that Venerable’s clan, that has such power.

"Those Avengers and mercenary soldiers who came to support don’t have that kind of ability, the demons they kill leave corpses, don’t they?"

Upon hearing this, they were stunned for a moment.

Including their captain.

Because this meant that the piled corpses might actually be the work of the Avengers and mercenaries as resources, can they possibly have such capability?

They don’t deny that Avengers are fearless battle warriors, but the problem is that precisely because they are Avengers, they hardly operate in large-scale cooperation, mostly going solo or acting in small teams.

It’s challenging to achieve outstanding results.

As for those mercenaries, even more so, they’re usually only providing auxiliary support in battles.

But here they eliminated so many demons that they seemingly shouldn’t have the power to do so.

This suggests maybe it’s due to the environmental issues and the advantages provided by the Night Watcher here.

"Forget it, let’s stop overthinking, we’ll find out once we get inside, we’re still going to be here for a while anyway."

Iron boots stepped onto the ground.

The ground was charred solid lava and soil, mixed with dark red marks of varying depths, silently narrating the unimaginably brutal battles recently occurred.

But there was nothing much to care about.

Which battlefield isn’t like this?

Look at the land around the Blood War Fortress, those are the scars left by millennia of warfare.

The closer they got.

They vaguely saw Night Watchers and some warriors dressed in various costumes by the city gate, some energy-flashing mechanical constructs busy repairing the wall’s damages.

The watchtower had discovered them long ago. The magical flow had scanned over them, but they didn’t pay attention, nor did they trigger any alarms.

Maybe it was just more mercenaries and Avengers coming to join.

Of course, it might be merchants.

None of these would be surprising, as personnel turnover was frequent ever since Blood Pit Fortress became famous.

"Gods above..." Groth murmured subconsciously, his grip on the hammer handle tightening slightly.

"That is...the miracle of the Gods."

The mage’s voice held a subtle tremor, staring intently at the pale golden protective light curtain. Even from this distance, he could feel the supreme rule power beyond Legendary Level it contained.

Earlier outside, he only saw it from afar, merely feeling the clash as order power dispelled chaos power.
