Chapter 1399: Chapter 913: Return to the Abyss_2
The medium demons are the backbone force on the Blood Battle Battlefield, usually around Level Seven, and are not few in number, with each assault reaching tens of thousands.
The higher demons, however, are more troublesome, participating in the Blood Battle Battlefield, generally reaching Level Nine to Ten, and sometimes can also reach tens of thousands, though typically only one or two thousand in number.
The problem is that the power of higher demons far exceeds the average of other races, especially in combat.
Night Watchers are considered a combat race, but compared to higher demons of the same level, they are still slightly inferior.
Unless equipped with suitable weapons and armor and enhanced by some potions.
Of course, if it’s team combat, then it’s another concept.
"So many demons fighting every two or three days, where do they come from?"
Hearing the question from this young Night Watcher, the Dwarf Avenger glanced at him and asked curiously.
"I remember you Night Watchers were sent to the Blood Pit Fortress; you should have had the corresponding knowledge training, right?"
The Night Watcher smiled embarrassedly; he did undergo training.
But how to put it? He is not good at memory, and his learning ability is not quite strong.
However, he does have a certain talent for combat.
The Dwarf Avenger just asked that question and didn’t say much more; instead, he explained.
"You need to know the Abyss has many layers, and the Blood Battle Battlefield has only ten layers, less than one percent. In the other Abysses, the number of demons is quite large.
"For these crazy demons, combat is their way to vent. Not every demon can easily find a Teleportation Gate to enter other worlds, so coming to the Blood Battle Battlefield to fight has become the main place."
It gives people a feeling of demons being endless because you can only fight on the Blood Battle Battlefield on a large scale, unable to enter other layers.
The wind of Blood War Fortress carries the scorching sulfur, the sweetness of blood, and the foul stench of decaying corpses.
Like an invisible, sticky whip lashing across the walls.
It howls past the metal and bony battlements, emitting a whimper-like shriek, sweeping up the blood dust and bone powder on the ground, forming a haze of blurring crimson mist.
As it passes, the fortress’s banners flutter vigorously, and the fragments of damaged weapons and armor hanging on the walls clatter against each other, like an unending lament for this land of death.
The Chaos Magic Power contained within the wind is bone-chilling, even through the barriers reinforced by Order Runes, the defenders feel the chaotic cold trying to corrode their marrow.
Kana floats high above the Abyss, observing the scene below. He has returned from the Titan World.
His return route was through the Titan connection to the Abyss, much quicker than transferring to Star Ring City then returning to the Abyss.
After all, Titans lead the Order Alliance, naturally having direct channels connected to the Blood Battle Battlefield.
Knowing a problem arises on the Blood Battle Battlefield, Titans are the first to come for support and stabilize the situation.
Thus, this time it was faster than before, arriving directly at the first layer of the Blood Battle Battlefield and then transferred to this layer.
However, this time it was his solo action; Luminar and the others naturally wouldn’t come here.
Because that would break the rules, disrupt the tacit understanding.
If some medium Divine Power suddenly appeared here, the Abyss would send corresponding Divine Level forces to this plane.
Evil Gods have bad tempers.
Already annoyed, and because you suddenly appear on this plane, they have to adhere to Abyss’s will and confront you.
Knowing you do nothing, just here for play, can instantly ignite their temper.
Medium Divine Power battles, covering a large range and almost uncontrollable, could easily result in unmanageable situations, causing issues at Blood War Fortress, even Blood Pit Fortress.
Then that would be troublesome.
After all, chaotic Evil Gods, each has its own ideas.
About Abyss or Blood Battle Battlefield, they don’t care, but due to Abyss’s will commanding, have to come.
Thus, essentially, as long as Order Faction doesn’t do something, Abyss Evil Gods sitting defending almost won’t act.
They don’t care about evil chaos because innately chaotic, disobeying orders is their norm.
Abyss has the Blood Battle Battlefield, and they gladly see it happen, especially if Order Faction massively attacks, they are even happier.
Without this mindset, really not fit to be an Evil God.
Thus, to avoid unnecessary disputes, medium and high Divine Power hardly come to Blood Battle Battlefield, except the first layer of Blood Battle Battlefield.
The first layer of Blood Battle Battlefield, that wholly exists as an ultimate shattered place, don’t mention medium Divine Power, high Divine too can be seen there.
It’s the only place in the Star Realm where middle or high-divine battles occur every few decades.
This interval is very short.
After all, medium or high Divine Power is extremely rare, far fewer than weak or very weak Divine Power.
Their battles are very restrained, generally avoiding combat unless necessary.
It’s been a while, returning to the Abyss, seeing the scene in front of him, Kana feels a bit satisfied.
After all, the Blood Pit Fortress seems completely standing firm, pushing the defensive lines outward considerably, establishing outer defenses.
Just knowing when he left, the outer defenses were still in planning.
Now fully established, seems to have experienced unknown numbers of combat, indicating has stabilized.
Just knowing before, although Blood Pit Fortress stood firm, each assault hit the Blood Pit Fortress walls.
With the demon attacks frequency, sometimes repairs and cleanup aren’t over yet, another battle arrives.
Also, leading to Blood Pit Fortress having no room for failure, demons have countless trial-and-error opportunities, while Blood Pit Fortress has none; once fails, all previous efforts are in vain.
Thus, extending more defenses outward is vital.
Just then, a slight ripple appeared beside Kana.
Noticing this ripple, Kana turned to look but took no action.
With the ripple’s transmission, microwaves appeared in the air, a crack opened, then forcefully tore into a hole by a pair of claws.
A creature coming out could fully be described as evil and ugly.
This is an Abyss Evil God, whose form represents ultimate desecration to Order and Harmony.
On his crooked emaciated body, prominently grows seven arms—three odd branches protrude disturbingly from the side of his neck and shoulder blades, waving alongside the four regular arms, with non-human eerie cadence.
Supporting his body aren’t legs, but five insect segment-like legs ending in sharp talons, stepping in a pentagram shape in the Void, leaving filthy energy ripples with each step.
Black like charcoal skin, covered in continually moving and morphing desecration runes seemingly carved with fresh blood.
His most terrifying head appears as three goat heads forcibly fused, six chaos flame-burning sheep eyes flash madness and malice, corrosive saliva drips from three wide-mouthed jaws.
Behind, a pair of tattered wings seemingly dissolved by concentrated acid droop listlessly, viscous black liquid constantly drips from feather tips, burning tiny holes in the Void.
The whole presence emanates an asphyxiating aura of chaos and evil.
He is an Abyss Evil God, and possesses Weak Divine Power, stronger than Kana’s Very Weak Divine Power.
