Chapter 1411: Chapter 919: World

I heard Kana has returned.

This news quietly circulated among the Night Watcher’s higher-ups.

This left some of the top officials a bit stunned.

It seems to have been a long time.

Ever since Kana became a God, his presence gradually vanished from the public eye, yet everyone clearly remembered this leader of theirs.

Not only that, at headquarters.

Some Night Watchers working here suddenly discovered.

The Chief Judge, Alyris, who was once somewhat of a workaholic and almost seen every day, seems to have been missing these past few days.

At first, no one noticed, but after a day or two, everyone suddenly realized.

Why has she suddenly vanished?

Three days later.

Everyone finally saw Alyris back in the office.

As a staff member handed her the report, they left the office.

"Have you noticed... today the Chief Judge seems, hmm, different?" A young Night Watcher walked by with documents in hand, whispering mysteriously to a companion.

"What’s different?" asked the Night Watcher beside him, puzzled. He hadn’t noticed anything unusual with Alyris today.

The Night Watcher scratching his head couldn’t articulate exactly what was different either.

That’s when a seasoned Night Watcher walked by.

Overhearing their conversation, he interjected with a mischievous smile:

"More gentle, a softer aura."

"Exactly, that’s what I wanted to say!" The questioning Night Watcher suddenly understood.

"Haha, youngster, you don’t get it, do you?" The seasoned Night Watcher patted his shoulder and walked away with a laugh.

...

In a small meeting room, the soft magical lights illuminated the table.

Alyris sat there, beside her was Kana.

Soon, the door opened.

Bobo walked in from outside, crossing her arms and unapologetically rolling her eyes at the two in the room.

"Yo, decided to start working again? Absence makes the heart grow fonder, huh." She drawled teasingly.

Having been missing for three days, the somewhat indulgent Alyris flushed with a faint blush and smiled awkwardly.

Kana, on the other hand, didn’t mind at all. Don’t underestimate a God’s thick skin, what’s the big deal? He seemed rather interested, sizing up Bobo with a glance.

The gaze of a God was so direct and sharp, Bobo felt like every inch of her was being pricked by needles, shivering slightly, and her white fur stood up a bit.

She cautiously took a few steps back, instinctively covering her body with her paws.

"What are you doing? What do you want?" She glared at Kana.

Seeing her reaction, Kana dismissed disdainfully, "How long has it been? Why are you still stuck at this level? Keep this up, it’ll be a little embarrassing."

Upon hearing this, Bobo bristled with anger, jumping agilely onto the table and flicking her tail in dissatisfaction, tapping the smooth surface with a slight snapping sound.

"What do you mean!" She slammed her paw against the table in frustration, "Do you even know how hard it is for a rat to become Legendary? How could a Savior like you, revered by the world, possibly understand the struggles of us rats?

"Us poor rats, it’s so difficult to improve our strength, crossing into Legendary ranks is so troublesome. It’s racial talent limits, it’s..."

As Bobo was about to continue her tirade, Kana, feeling helpless, raised his hand in a "stop" gesture, interrupting her.

"Alright, alright, what’s with the act," Kana snapped his fingers lightly, and an invisible force compelled Bobo to close her mouth, "Ratmen only struggle to improve because of racial issues.

"But that’s only concerning the basic levels. Ratmen who joined the Night Watchers face no pressure from levels, advancing below Level Ten smoothly.

"And crossing from Level Ten to Eleven, advancing to Legendary, has little to do with race, especially with the rules of our world."

Upon hearing this, Bobo pouted in dissatisfaction, muttering about "easy for you to say," and "God thinks he’s so great."

Nonetheless, Kana didn’t mind, simply stating.

"But it is indeed a problem, the Night Watchers have far too few Legendary powers, which doesn’t match our current size and influence."

"What? Do you already have any ideas to address this issue?"

Bobo’s large ears perked up, eyes brightening, she immediately guessed the answer and impatiently asked. She had been waiting for a long time, and indeed, this was a pressing issue.

Taking advantage of this moment, Kana briefly explained to Bobo his idea about using the Stone of Creation to construct a [Legendary Dungeon].

After hearing Kana’s idea, Bobo stroked her chin, thought briefly, and realized that this should be a theoretically feasible plan, nodding silently, her tail stopped flicking and curled around the nearby table leg.

"It should be feasible," she evaluated, "But whether it actually works will depend on how you implement it, since you are the expert here."

She paused, then added somewhat disappointedly, "However, this use of the Stone of Creation this time doesn’t... seem particularly novel."

After all, Kana’s previous ideas had all stemmed outwards thanks to datafication as the core, making each one extremely novel and interesting.
