Because he didn’t have a monopoly on where they could get Supreme Metacs, he had to go the extra mile to incentivize them to transact with him. He didn’t like the feeling at all. It made him feel like they had succeeded in bending him to their Will.

But he couldn’t deny that the exchange system’s success was good. The success was especially good at changing his mood.

When he began receiving Supreme Metacs he hadn’t had before, he couldn’t stay angry about being forced to reduce his price. And when many more Dao Lords signed up to join the Olympic Divine Court because of the exchange system, a smile forced its way to his lips.

’All it costs me to produce the Supreme Metacs is some lifespan. So as long as my lifespan channel through my sect is established, nothing will go wrong. It will be profit and more profit,’ he thought in anticipation.

Unfortunately, the Gemini weren’t willing to let him have his way in the lower realm with his sect. At least, they were not willing to give up without a fight.

In the Blessed Heaven World, a rank 6 white horse with a white horn on its head trotted into the Northern Domain, looking around for a target. When it found its target, it rushed over to meet them.

This time, the law fragments were not rioting, and no natural disasters interrupted its mission. The unicorn was able to easily make contact with a tribe of barbarians.

After some time adapting to learn their language, it could finally state its purpose. To the mortals, the unicorn looked like a tall barbarian, similar to their appearance, so they were willing to listen to it.

It said, "I am an envoy of the Apex God. I come bearing good news."

"My God has taken pity on the mortals and is willing to help them. He sent me with a cultivation method that can help you mortals break out of the shackles of your lifespan."

"It is a cultivation method that will allow you to gain more lifespan with each advancement from rank 2," it explained earnestly.

The unicorn expected disbelief, shock, and suspicion, but what it got was mild surprise and interest.

"Oh, there’s another one," an elder said in surprise.

"I thought it was impossible, yet here are two different methods in the span of a month. What is the world becoming?" the oldest elder said with a sigh.

The tribal chief waved his hand to silence the discussions before saying, "Let’s wait to hear their method and see if they are really similar. Who knows, this one might be fake."

Then the chief turned to the unicorn and said, "How does your cultivation system work, and how much lifespan can it provide?"

The unicorn was still trying to adapt to their unexpected response, but when it heard the question, it threw aside its doubts to provide an answer.

It said, "You must switch your pathway, so only rank 1 and rank 2 mortals can use it. When you advance, you gain 100% of your lifespan each time."

"I see. So it’s a defective version," the tribal chief said, understanding.

The unicorn couldn’t take it anymore and asked, "Is there another cultivation system that can grant lifespan but better?"

"Yes, there is. And it can grant twice as much lifespan with each advancement," the oldest elder replied.

"200% with each advancement. Can your cultivation system do better?" another elder asked in anticipation.

"Let me ask the Apex God," the unicorn said in reply.

Then it closed its eyes and bowed its head in prayer.

It was the world king of the Gemini youngling who called himself the Apex God, so it could contact the Apex God at any time, as divine beings use the divine constellation to communicate.

It said, "My lord, I have met with the first group of people. I have also done my duty in spreading the good news of your benevolence to them."

"However, these mortals told me that they already have a cultivation system that grants a 200% boost to their lifespan with each advancement. What do I do?"

After a period of silence, a voice came through, saying, "Do you know what their Core Metac looks like?"

"Not yet," the unicorn replied.

"Check now."

The unicorn’s heart tightened when it heard this instruction, but it immediately executed it.

Without opening its eyes, it used its Insight Stat to check the elders in front of it and everyone in the tribe. It hadn’t done this before because it was trying to limit its extraordinary nature and not alert the divine beings of this world.

If its presence is noticed, divine beings might descend at any moment to kill it. Despite the danger, the unicorn still executed the instruction as best as it could.

After it had finished examining everyone in the tribe, it said to the Apex God, "They have a golden plant in their Energy Well. It has a similar shape, but it is black, not golden like ours."

"Hmmmm. That’s weird," the Apex God said with some confusion. "Why is it black?"

"Anyway, it has to be one of my siblings at work. In that case, change your location. Go somewhere else to recruit mortals."

The unicorn responded, saying, "You will be my command, my lord."

Then it opened its eyes and said to the mortals, "The Apex God has spoken."

"He said that since you’ve been saved, you don’t need his salvation. So I will go somewhere else where the people are still shackled and bring them the good news."

The tribal chief nodded in understanding and said, "Then I wish you good luck and safe journeys."

The unicorn left the tribe with a heart full of disappointment about its failed attempt to gain converts for its god. But it quickly became hopeful for the future.

However, its journey soon brought another bout of disappointment. The disappointment came when it discovered that it wasn’t the only missionary in this part of the world.
