So he would always have an advantage that would keep widening over time. The bigger the Olympic Court becomes, the harder it will be for other Divine Courts to catch up, and it’s because he got a head start of 999 free slots, not 9.

"Now I know why White Chain was feeling cocky," he said, nodding his head in understanding.

"Of course, the Heavenly Court only had an advantage of 90 slots, so he didn’t need to be so exaggerated with his superiority. But an advantage is an advantage, no matter how small it is."

He felt thoroughly satisfied with the potential he’d invested in the golden mountain and could only complain that he couldn’t spend as Gemini younglings swarmed the golden mountain from every direction.

The sight of his Divine Mountain swelling in size made him increasingly satisfied. But then he saw a spider-monkey hybrid walk over on its eight legs.

The spider monkey approached the golden mountain, looking at it with intense curiosity. Two of its eight eyes were also trained on the person standing atop the golden mountain.

"So this is what a Divine Mountain is. How interesting," Black Chain said, unconcerned that he stood out and everyone was looking at him.

In the previous timeline, none of the indigenous Dao Lords dared approach the Divine Mountain because they feared being surrounded. Black Chain, in particular, didn’t dare come because he had lost four of his avatars and was severely weakened.

But in this timeline, Black Chain was at the top of his strength and was confident he could keep himself safe. Plus, he needed a Divine Mountain to remove his Entropy burden and let him use more of his strength, so he decided to come.

As all of these went through Loki’s mind, he thought, ’Damn it. It seems I should have moved ahead with my plan to take his avatars in another super world.’

Since he couldn’t bait their avatars in the Blessed Heaven World like he used to, he planned to repeat the trick on another super world like Alpha Peak, Red Sky, or Clear Heart. But to do so, he first needed to establish his Domain.

According to his original plan, he wanted to advance to two-star celestial before he started establishing Domains. It hadn’t even been a day since he ascended, so he needed more time to reach that goal.

Unfortunately, Black Chain wasn’t willing to wait for him to be ready. The Dao Lord of the Four Directions Sect swaggered over to the golden mountain with nefarious intentions.

As an indigenous Dao Lord, Black Chain didn’t know how to join a Divine Court or how Divine Mountains worked. So he didn’t even know that he could destroy the Divine Mountain.

But his ignorance was easy to correct by watching the other Gemini younglings, questioning them, and reading their minds. Therefore, he spent a few minutes prowling the surroundings of the golden mountain.

During this time, Loki sent avatars to the other super worlds to establish Domains. He hoped to get as much Domain Power as possible to resist Black Chain.

Meanwhile, Black Chain was moving quickly as well. After learning what he needed to do, he sent a projection of his godhead into the range of the golden mountain.

There were unoccupied slots on the Divine Mountain, so the projection of his power immediately became one of the phantoms on the mountain. Just like that, he became a member of the Olympic Sect.

As soon as Black Chain became a member, the total Domain Power soared and broke past the 100 billion square kilometers milestone. Every member of the Divine Court was strengthened, driving the other Gemini into a frenzy to join.

That was the good news. The bad news was that total Domain Power was 114.42 billion square kilometers, and Black Chain’s Domain Power accounted for 101.2 billion square kilometers of it.

No one had contributed celestial gold yet, so Black Chain was now responsible for 88.4% of the total Domain Power. Since his contribution rate was above 50%, he automatically became the Mountain Lord.

One of Loki’s, the black one, headed to Heavenly Eye’s stash to steal her hidden celestial gold and increase their contribution rate with it.

The white Loki, nearby, rushed to the Divine Mountain to fight and kill Black Chain’s true body and eliminate the problem directly. Their avatar was also in the Clear Heart super world in the process of establishing a Domain.

The avatar was being beaten and holding on for dear life, waiting for the will of the world to tire itself out. Unfortunately, all of his attempts to keep his position came too late.

In his inner world, the golden Divine Spark was fading away. It was the first time he had experienced anything like this, but it filled him with dread, as if he knew what would happen.

Without hesitation, he gave the Lokis instructions to reverse time and shared how to build the Rewind Metac. Then he hoped they would do what he told them to do in his absence, or whatever would happen to him when the Divine Spark is taken away.

He destroyed the Rewind Metac after returning to the present because he didn’t want anyone to know he had it. But now that he couldn’t make a Metac he wanted through the spark of power, the absence of the Rewind Metac when he needed it complicated things.

Just after instructing them, the Divine Spark left their inner world and appeared in Black Chain’s. The phantom figure of the white wolf at the top of the golden mountain was also replaced by a phantom spider-monkey hybrid.

"Not bad," Black Chain said, nodding in satisfaction. "Now, this is fitting for a king."

"From now on, the Sea Of Worlds will belong to me. Today marks the day I take another step towards certain world dominance. No one can stop me now," he declared proudly. "I shall finally achieve my birthright and rule the world."
