Likewise, the (Withstand Energy Density from level 5 to level 20) was created from the fusion of the (Withstand Energy Density from level 5 to level 8) of the Rank 2 version, (Withstand Energy Density from level 9 to level 12) of the Rank 3 version, (Withstand Energy Density from level 13 to level 16) of the Rank 4 version, and (Withstand Energy Density from level 17 to level 20) of the Rank 5 version.

Finally, the (Create the Mind Palace) instruction came from the Rank 4 Core Metac, while the (Create the Power Core) and (Create the Mental World) instructions came from the Rank 5 Core Metacs. They were normal instructions for functions that Core Metacs were responsible for.

Aside from these three instructions, there were other instructions here and there that he didn’t touch, such as the ones responsible for energy refinement, the usage of Branch Metacs, etc. All in all, the final product was a Rank 5 Core Metac with 19 vibrating strings.

A Core Metac of this size was still usable for a Rank 5 Core Metac. Some powerful Rank 4 cultivators could manage it, but it would be unusable for Rank 3 cultivators and below.

"The cultivators aren’t going to use it anyway. It is more like the Core Metacs would use them," he said, unconcerned.

"I just need to tweak this a little bit to make it better. Improve the quality and efficiency, so to speak."

His goal was to create a new cultivation system. He would call it the Dao Fetus cultivation system.

In the Dao Fetus cultivation system, the Core Metac would be a fetus growing inside every cultivator. The Energy Well would be the womb and the source of nutrients for the Core Metac.

He got this idea from the Gemini Supreme Metac. The Core Metac wouldn’t be a parasite that would eventually replace the host, though. It wasn’t for lack of trying. But no Core Metac could do that.

Even a Divine Metac couldn’t replace the host. At best, the Divine Metac could modify the host’s body into a divine body. So opted to make the host and the Dao Fetus fuse. But that’s for later.

For now, he needed a Dao Fetus that would grow within the host, strengthening the host along the way. That way, they’d have a symbiotic relationship.

The host would give the Dao Fetus the Energy Well and nutrients. In exchange, the Dao Fetus would give the host a lot of power. He had to do it like this, even if he could create a parasite, because no one would use his cultivation system otherwise.

He could already picture what would happen if he tried to cheat his disciples. Weak mortals might not notice, but other Dao Lords would, and they would expose it to discourage mortals from joining his sect.

Since he didn’t care about the size of the Core Metac, he split the (Extract lifespan and Enhance Disciple’s power) instruction into (Extract and provide lifespan) and (Enhance disciple’s power).

He also changed the (Expand from Rank 1 to Rank 5) instruction to (Grow stronger from Rank 1 to Rank 5). This way, the Dao Fetus would have stats just like the cultivator.

So the Dao Fetus would also have Body, Soul, Mind, and Will attributes. The advantage of this was that cultivators could borrow this power to enhance themselves.

For example, a Rank 2 mortal, whose power output with Rank 2 Metacs and Rank 2 Dao Status was equal to Dao Status(2) * Rank(2) * Stats(Body(2) + Mind(2)) * Metac(Lightning Amplifier(2) + Lightning Speed(2)) * Skill(1 + 200%), which is 192 units.

If they could borrow the power of the Dao Fetus too, their power would be Dao Status(2) * Rank(2) * Stats(Body(2 + 2) + Mind(2 + 2)) * Metac(Lightning Amplifier(2) + Lightning Speed(2)) * Skill(1 + 200%), which is 384units.

The Dao Status would double their attributes, making them two people fighting as one and doubling their power. Then the amplification of Domain Power would take effect on top of this.

With the assistance of Domain Power, their power would be Dao Status(2) * Rank(2) * Stats(Body(2 + 2) + Mind(2 + 2)) * Metac(Lightning Amplifier(2) + Lightning Speed(2)) * Skill(1 + 200%) * Domain Power(384), which is 147,456 units.

From 192 to 147,456, the amplification is 768 times. With this power, Rank 4 cultivators will stand no chance against his Rank 2 disciples.

The disadvantage is that the Dao Fetus would now cost much more energy to grow. Based on his calculations, it could cost upwards of 30 times more.

If it should take 100 years of lifespan to raise their Energy Density from level 5 to level 20, now all that energy would be consumed to give the Dao Status the Body, Mind, Soul, and Will attributes at 1 unit each.

Then the energy consumption would double at Rank 2 to raise the Body, Mind, Soul, and Will attributes to 2 units. So this would cost an extra 200 years of lifespan at Rank 2.

After that, the energy consumption would continue to rise from 200 years to 400 years at Rank 3. Next, it would be 800 years at Rank 4. Finally, it would be 1,600 years at Rank 5. So the total would be 3,100 years, not 100 years like before.

Seeing this, he said, "That’s a little expensive. Let’s do something about it."

He set about making the process more efficient, but he was only partially successful. He succeeded in reducing the lifespan needed for the Dao Fetus to grow, but its effect would depend heavily on the cultivator’s talent.

He failed to reduce the doubling of the energy requirement, as that was set in stone. The only option to reduce it was to weaken the Dao Fetus, but he was unwilling to do that as he needed that benefit to convince mortals that it was worth it to allow something to take over their Energy Well and use it to grow.
