There were also the voices of the Dao Lords constantly ringing in his mind. Those voices refused to leave and were still haunting him.
He kept hearing their voices over and over again in his mind as if the Dao Lords were still speaking nearby. Even his Cave Heaven was shaking because of the voices. So he was sure that this affliction wasn’t just psychological.
Because of these flashbacks, he decided not to engage in any fighting for now. He decided to take some time to relax and let his mind rest.
During this period of rest, he thought about his plans for the future. The first thing he did was to shake his head, thinking, ’Forget about Slav. There is too much trouble surrounding him.’
’I knew that he was entangled with a Dao Lord, but it seems I had underestimated his entanglement. Apparently, at least five Dao Lords want to have a bite out of him.’
Then he asked himself inwardly, thinking, ’Why are they after him anyway? What did he do wrong? What’s so special about him? Do they want his pathway as I do? Or do they simply want to make sure that he dies?’
After asking himself this series of questions, he shook his head again and thought, ’Forget it. Slav is off limits. My first plan to ambush and kill him won’t work. He seems to be able to tell when I’m around, so I can forget about that plan.’
’My second plan to somehow find his Cave Heaven in those underground caves is also unlikely to work. Any leakage of its existence can attract Dao Lords to appear and kill me.’
He shivered again, and his Cave Heaven quaked when he remembered the last time he attracted the attention of Dao Lords. This made him lick his lips as he thought, ’He is a bomb of trouble, is what he is.’
’It is too risky to attract the attention of Dao Lords, so for now, I won’t go anywhere near him.’
’You know what, I’ll remove the mark on him, and I won’t go anywhere near him. If I want a Supreme Metac, I either have to create it myself or take it from people like Money Body, who I can bully.’
Then his eyes flashed as he thought to himself, ’Since I want to steal Money Body’s Supreme Metac, I should cut him some slack. But that’s only if he behaves himself.’
’In the meantime, I should focus on getting those eight Divine Positions that I need to create the fourth layer. But while I’m busy with that, I should try and see what it is that the Thorn House of Commerce is hiding and willing to make a contract to continue to hide.’
After Money Body tried and failed to advance to rank 9, he had an inkling that whatever the Thorn House of Commerce was hiding in the Blessed Heaven World was related to Money Body’s scheme for Oceania.
Right now, he suspects that the Thorn House of Commerce is hiding a way to advance to rank 9 in the Blessed Heaven World. He is also aware that this suspicion is far-fetched. But considering that he has just lost an option to advance through Slav, he is looking for replacements.
He has considered that he might be wrong about his suspicions of what the Thorn House of Commerce is hiding. But even if he is wrong, he doubts that he will lose anything.
On the other hand, if he is right about what the Thorn House of Commerce is hiding, there will be a potential to gain a lot from the information. So he is willing to take the risk.
Of course, he expects that the Thorn House of Commerce will try to stop him. But he doesn’t mind that they antagonize him.
As he thought about the risk of the Thorn House or Commerce turning against him to fight him, he chuckled and said, "Gone are the days I have to fear you. It is one thing for Dao Lords to bully me. But it is no longer allowed for you to bully me. I am the one who should bully you."
After he had chuckled, he thought some more about his plans. By the time he finished thinking, his mind had settled, and his Cave Heaven had stopped shaking as if it was on the brink of collapse.
When he was sure that he was fit to move and fight again, he flew away from the world in front of him. His destination was the Blessed Heaven World.
Of course, he wasn’t going to the Blessed Heaven World to kill Slav. He was going there to acquire Divine Positions. The first Divine Position he is aiming for is the one that belongs to the Monarch Gold Body.
As for why he is flying away from a perfectly good small world, it was so that he wouldn’t have to clash with the Thorn House of Commerce yet.
He still plans to have a tussle with the Thorn House of Commerce. But he wants to have a Divine Position with him before he does so. This is so that he can use the divine constellation to inquire about some things about the Thorn House of Commerce.
He still doesn’t plan to destroy the Thorn House of Commerce, as he still needs Money Body to create a Supreme Metac for him. But he hasn’t gotten desperate for Money Body’s help just yet.
He still had the option to create the fourth layer in the force organ. This is an option that he believes is viable because there is still space in the force organ.
After that option is tried, he can also try to see what Money Body is hiding in the Blessed Heaven World. If he is right to believe that Money Body is hiding a method to advance to rank 9 in the Blessed Heaven World, then he might not even need Money Body’s incomplete Domaination Supreme Metac anymore.
