Chapter 791: Too Many Inconsistencies.
Since Money Armor stopped blocking Loki’s inquiry, he didn’t have to waste money on that. This reduced the amount of lifespan he needed to remain alive.
But this reduction was only a little bit. It was so little that it bordered on being insignificant. After all, he didn’t eliminate the main source of danger to his life.
Loki was still trying to kill him, so he said to Money Body, "The person is still attacking me, though. What should I do?"
Money Body was about to say, "What a pity! Let me put you out of your misery."
Then he would kill Money Armor to ensure that Money Body wouldn’t continue using the reserves of the alliance or open their Cave Heaven to the threat of a Dao Lord by giving up on his body.
But before Money Body could make his decision, Money Armor said, "Hold on. There is something you should know. This person is not the same as the last person."
He said that because he felt that if Money Body thought that the person trying to kill him was the same one who killed Forced Exchange, Money Body wouldn’t try to save him.
The information he provided did intrigue Money Body. This rank 8 money cultivator became curious, so instead of executing Money Armor immediately, he said, "Is that so? Who is this person? What is their rank?"
Money Armor thought about his words before saying, "I don’t know who they are. They don’t look like any divine being I know, and I don’t recognize their Divine Metacs. All I can tell is that they are at rank 8 and seem to be a giant of the Strength Pathway."
When Money Body heard this, he began to laugh. As he laughed, he said, "You’re telling me that they are rank 8 and you don’t recognize them? How is that possible?"
Money Armor immediately shook his head and said, "I swear on my Life Fire that I am not lying. I am willing to sign any contract to prove it."
But Money Body didn’t stop laughing. In fact, his laughter only increased in intensity.
As he laughed, he said, "Just earlier today, there was a rank 8 cultivator that we didn’t know about in the Money Pathway. Now there is another unidentified rank 8 cultivator in the Strength Pathway."
He shook his head and said, "Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think you’re lying. I think you’re telling the truth. I just think that there is so much wrong with all of these, it is funny."
Of course, he didn’t think Money Armor was lying to him. This was because all of his subordinates had signed a contract to always tell him the truth.
It is because he is sure that Money Armor is telling the truth that he is sure that the situation is too dangerous to take any chances. So, without waiting for Money Armor to explain any further, he used his authority as the host of the Cave Heaven to shut down Money Armor’s Life Fire.
After he killed Money Armor, he stared fixatedly at the Money Armor Metac. He was waiting to see what would happen to it.
As he watched, he had a scene in his mind that he was expecting to see. But no matter how long he watched, the Money Armor Metac didn’t become a dead object.
The Money Armor Metac was fine, and his Cave Heaven didn’t start breaking apart. He should be happy about this, but he couldn’t find it within him to be jubilant.
In fact, the opposite of happiness was the case here. For some reason, the active state of the Money Armor Metac and the stable state of his Cave Heaven made him anxious.
It was the kind of anxiety that could only be relieved by pacing, so he began pacing around the core of his Cave Heaven. He was also pacing about in the physical world at the small world he was told to stay in for the outpost mission.
As he paced about, he said to himself, ’Was that the same Dao Lord or a different Dao Lord?’

’A Dao Lord exists, but a rank 8 cultivator in the Money Pathway who has remained hidden until today, when he fought me for basically no benefits but to waste lifespan, should not exist.’
’It is also easy for a Dao Lord to pretend to be rank 8. The Supreme Metac is under their control, so they should be able to pretend to be at any cultivation. Therefore, whoever that person was, they had to be a Dao Lord.’
