Once the shadow has been created, it will try to take control of the target. This is why the shadow fused with the thief’s body.

According to records of her performance, the shadow will fuse with the target and tamper with their will. While the heart demon is wrestling control of the body, Monarch Shadow Clone will make her next move.

As usual, her next move was to create another shadow for the target. Then she began controlling this shadow.

Through the Shadow Puppet Metac, everything she made the shadow do was also forced onto the target. So she was controlling the target through the shadow.

These two attacks had impressed Many Eyes because they were trying to do the same thing but from two different directions. One was internal while the other was external, so they were able to work well together nicely.

The Heart Demon Metac tampers with the Will of the target and tries to take control from within. Its effect is subtle and not easily noticeable by the target.

The target is currently frozen, but they might not know this. To them, they are still approaching the Blessed Heaven World.

The only time the target might notice something wrong is when they realize that they have been approaching the Blessed Heaven World for hours and even days without getting any closer to their destination. In the meantime, the heart demon has taken over their bodies and is controlling them in their stead.

On the other hand, the Shadow Puppet Metac attacks the Mind of the target and tries to take control of the body by force. Its effect is obvious and can be resisted by force. But with the heart demon preoccupying the target, they won’t be able to resist.

When Many Eyes thought about these things, he sneered and said, "That Shadow Clone Metac of hers is still the best. Once she uses it, the thief will turn into one of her shadow clones. Unless she runs out of lifespan, he will remain her shadow clone forever."

The original purpose of the Shadow Clone Metac is to create clones of its owner with shadows. But if Monarch Shadow Clone has gained control of the Body, Mind, and Will of a target, then she can convert that target into a clone for her.

This is how she combines her three Divine Metacs for superior firepower. Since the thief had already been caught up by the first two Divine Metacs, his fate to become a clone for her is sure to come to pass.

Many Eyes was looking forward to it with every fibre of his being. His eyes gleamed in anticipation as he watched. But instead of turning into a black, indistinct shadow, the thief roared and ripped off the black slime on his body.

The explosive resistance of the thief also caused the shadow behind him to shatter. The shadow had been trying to take control of his body, but it seemed he was too strong, so it experienced a backlash that extinguished its existence.

His eyes widened in shock when he saw this. He even stopped what he was doing to stare into the slave with his eyeless face and say, "He is stronger than Shadow Body? How can that be?"

Apparently, he wasn’t the only one who was surprised. Both Monarch Shadow Body and Monarch Truth and False were surprised.

Actually, Monarch Truth and False were the most surprised. This was because he had analyzed the thief with his Analysis Metac and was certain that the thief was doomed.

The Analysis Metac can see through the surface of everything and determine its worth or true power. Because of this, he already knew that the thief was weird, but victory was assured even before the start of the fight.

As soon as he saw the thief, he saw that the thief possessed one Divine Position and was also using one Divine Metac to speed through the void. So he was able to determine that this was the maximum power of the thief.

After a brief calculation, the Analysis Metac told him that the power of the thief was 5,698,560 units of divine power. When he saw this, he refused to believe it.

He shook his head inwardly and thought, ’This is impossible. There is no way this thief was able to defeat and kill Shadow Body with this kind of power. So someone must be lying.’

He gazed at the thief with a deep look as he thought, ’It can’t be the thief that’s trying to deceive me. I have the Analysis Metac, so no one can fool my eyes. Not unless the gap between us is too wide.’

Then he glanced at the shadowy figure beside him, thinking, ’So it has to be her who is lying about something. She claimed that this thief had killed her subordinate, so she is here for revenge. Not only is it impossible for this thief to kill Shadow Body, but it is out of place for her to avenge the death of anyone.’

’She must be onto something nefarious. I’ll watch and see what that is. As long as the thief dies, we can negotiate whatever benefit she is trying to get through this lie of hers.’

After making his decision, he stood back to watch. He watched as a bystander so that he wouldn’t be caught up in whatever scheme was afoot. His piercing gaze helped him to see that Shadow Clone had truly attacked with her full power.

He was sure that she wasn’t pretending to attack, and her intention to kill the thief didn’t seem fake since her power output was 115,937,280 units of divine power. This made him frown a bit because her power should be higher than this.

As he frowned, he asked himself, ’Is she holding back some of her power, or has she become weaker?’
