Jiang Fan shifted in his chair, looking for all the world like he was about to prop his feet up on the conference table.

"You’re the one who wasn’t paying attention, okay?"

The meaning of the team’s name suddenly clicked.

’Yuefan... isn’t that just the last part of your name, Jun**yue**, and my name, **Fan**?’

Thinking Jiang Fan was worried about his future, Junyue smiled reassuringly. She couldn’t help but reach out and ruffle his hair, messing it up into a bird’s nest.

"Have you eaten? I can take you downstairs for a bite and some coffee, then I’ll drive you back."

"No, it’s okay. I’ve already eaten."

"I’ll just get a cab back later and expense it to the company. You’re busy; you don’t need to drive me."

Jiang Fan declined with a wave of his hand.

"Alright then. Come on, I’m not busy right now. I’ll show you the all-stars on our Yufan Design Team."

That, he could agree to. Jiang Fan got up and walked side-by-side with Junyue.

The entire design team wasn’t very large—only nine members, or ten including Junyue.

However, all nine members were stunningly beautiful women, each at least a nine out of ten on the looks scale.

They weren’t just from Huaxia; they came from all over the world.

"These are the brilliant minds on our team. All those best-selling designs? They came from them."

Junyue clapped her hands, drawing everyone’s attention. "This is Jiang Fan," she said. "My... my friend... Let’s give him a warm welcome."

In the end, she couldn’t bring herself to say those three words, "my little brother," for reasons she didn’t quite understand herself.

Jiang Fan paid it no mind. Instead, his attention was captured by the design drafts on their computer screens.

He finally understood why this team was so highly sought after by both the Fengming and Xuerong Groups.

You could see the whole picture just by looking at these drafts.

Every design concept was refreshingly original.

"CLAP CLAP CLAP."

A synchronized round of applause broke out.

"’Friend?’ What kind of ’friend’? You don’t mean boyfriend, do you?"

Several women on the team cried out dramatically, making the atmosphere feel incredibly relaxed.

It was clear they had a very friendly work environment.

However, Jiang Fan noticed that one of them, a blonde, blue-eyed woman, had actually linked her arm through Junyue’s.

And she was glaring at him with hostility.

"Angela, that’s enough!"

Junyue said, giving the girl a light tap on the back of her head.

"Come on, I’ll show you around some more."

Then, she took Jiang Fan by the hand and led him out of the design department.

She then gave Jiang Fan a full tour of her company, holding nothing back and showing him everything.

"You must be tired. Here, have some water."

Junyue poured Jiang Fan a glass of water and sat down beside him.

"I’m not tired, just... amazed. Junyue, you’re incredible."

"To build such a badass design team from the ground up and make it so successful."

He’d known since they were kids that Junyue was destined for great things, but he never thought he’d be this on the mark.

"Well... I’ve been through a lot. I just gritted my teeth and endured, and that’s how I earned all the success and glory of today."

A nostalgic expression crossed Junyue’s face.

"By the way, what your boss said earlier basically means you have the day off. Are you sure you still want to rush back to the office?"

"If you’re not, let’s go back to the orphanage and have a meal."

"I kind of miss the director."

Her tone shifted, and she looked at Jiang Fan expectantly.

"Maybe next time. I still haven’t finished the assignment my general manager gave me."

"I need to get back and figure out how to plan this event."

"Tell me about it. Maybe I can help you figure something out."

She picked up the glass of water on the conference table—the one Jiang Fan had been drinking from—and took a sip without a second thought.

Jiang Fan gave her a rough summary of what Li Muwan had in mind.

"Actually, this is pretty easy to solve. It’s similar to that last event you planned; there’s a common thread between them."

Junyue mulled it over for a moment before offering him a general direction.

"Last time, you capitalized on people’s love for a good bargain. So, this time, why not find another specific angle and blow it up?"
