The Goddess CEO Fell in Love with Me
Chapter 232: The Three-Point Agreement
Chapter 232: Chapter 232: The Three-Point Agreement
"Please, tell us."
The three mothers agreed without any hesitation, but the three men looked troubled.
To be honest, none of them wanted their wives to come here.
They had even deliberately avoided this place themselves in the past.
The death of their children had been a massive blow to their wives, and now they were expected to spend so much time at this school.
What if the old memories surfaced and something happened to them...
"First, if the three of you ever decide you don’t want to stay here anymore, you can just leave quietly."
"Second, if you have any problems or ideas, you must communicate them to us promptly. You are not to privately interfere with the children’s choices."
At this, Jiang Fan paused and looked at them.
The three mothers were taken aback for a moment, but they quickly nodded in agreement.
"The third condition is the most critical of all. From now on, aside from your husbands, none of the people currently on school grounds, and certainly none of the people outside, are allowed to set foot on this campus. Not a single step."
"This is my bottom line. If the three of you cannot agree to this, then I’m afraid I can’t accept your offer."
They all understood what Jiang Fan meant by his last condition.
They also understood the nature of their own business.
"I agree to all three conditions. My name is Lanxing. You can just call me Lan."
"This is Lv, and this is Ye. You can call them that."
"As for those three, don’t worry about them. I won’t let them come to the school in the future."
Lanxing was the first to speak, resolving all of Jiang Fan’s concerns.
"Alright, then it’s settled. Let’s exchange contact information. I’ll message you when it’s time for the children to enroll."
Jiang Fan took out his phone.
"Okay. I’m Jiang Fan, you can just call me Fan. This is my sister, Jun Yue."
He exchanged contact information with Lanxing and the others, then said, "To the three of you gentlemen... about the situation outside..."
"Kid, remember what you said."
After speaking, he went to the window and waved his hand. All the men, both on and off campus, departed in an orderly fashion.
"Kid, this is my business card. If you need anything in the future, you can give me a call."
"My wife will be at the school, so I’ll be counting on you to look after her."
Then he opened his mouth again, but it seemed he swallowed whatever threatening words he was about to say.
Glancing at the card in his hand, Jiang Fan saw that the man who had been sitting on the right was named Quanziran.
"This one’s mine. Do a good job. Don’t let us down. We’re also hoping you can make this work."
"Don’t forget where you came from, and don’t forget why you started this. I’m a blunt man, not one for fancy talk. If you need something, you can call me too."
The man on the left tossed over a business card as well.
It had only a phone number and a string of digits on it.
This younger-looking man was named Nalan Jia.
"You can call me Long from now on. This is my card."
The man in the middle was the last to place a card in Jiang Fan’s hand, and the only one to come forward and pat him firmly on the shoulder.
"Seriously, don’t forget why you’re doing this. If you run into any trouble, you can call me."
"Also, this school has been sitting here for a long time, so a lot of things are unusable. I’ll have people come and renovate it, and I’ll have supplies delivered to the school."
"The rest is up to you."
After speaking, he turned and took his wife Lanxing’s hand. "Should we get going, then? We can contact them by phone later?"
"The doctor told you not to get too upset, or let your emotions fluctuate too much..."
A look of heartache was evident in Long’s eyes.
"Alright. Well, Fan, we’ll be leaving now. We’ll come back once you start getting the school ready."
The group said their goodbyes to Jiang Fan and Jun Yue, then left the school. Soon, only the two of them remained in the office.
Jiang Fan gathered the documents and credentials from the desk.
"What do you think about all this?"
Twisting open a bottle of water and chugging half of it, Jun Yue asked with a burp.
"You should pay a little more attention to your image."
Jiang Fan rolled his eyes. "What other choice do we have? If we didn’t agree, we wouldn’t be able to open the school at all."
Jun Yue fell silent for a moment.
"We can solve the other issues now. The only thing left to figure out is the teaching staff."
"Then we need to go to the education department to update the registration and change all the legal representatives to our names."
"One person is enough to handle that, but teachers... especially good teachers, are incredibly hard to find. No school is willing to let them go."
Jiang Fan felt a headache coming on. This was just the initial phase, with its initial problems.
’Once things progress further, I’m sure even more trouble will slowly reveal itself.’
"Let’s take it one step at a time. We still have time right now."
"About Lan and the other two..."
Jun Yue trailed off.
But Jiang Fan already understood her concern.
"It’s fine. I can tell they’re sincere. If any problems come up later, we’ll deal with them then."
"It’s not like we’re actually afraid of them."
A sharp glint flashed in Jiang Fan’s eyes.
"Grandma should be awake by now. We should still tell her about something this big."
"Otherwise, she’ll say we didn’t respect her opinion again."
After gathering all the documents into a file folder, Jiang Fan clutched it to his chest and said to Jun Yue.
"Okay."
The two of them double-checked that nothing was left behind, then turned and headed back to the orphanage.
On the way, Jun Yue had someone transfer 15.5 million to Lin Shu’s account.
With the transaction complete, the deal was done. Jiang Fan really couldn’t muster any positive feelings for the man.
The moment they arrived back at the orphanage, Li Qian’Er frantically called them into the director’s, Grandma’s, bedroom.
"Jiang Fan, Jun, Grandma is asking for you. Be careful what you say in a bit. She seems a little angry right now."
Jiang Fan whipped his head around to look at her. "Your mouth... sometimes I think you really need to install a doorknob on it."
"Why are you blaming me? With Grandma’s condition, she asked me, and I couldn’t just not tell her. What if she got so angry it made her sick?!"
