Ermaine’s fluttered open and she listened to the chirping birds outside in the garden. She felt refreshed, and it only happened when Satan was near her. She slowly sat up and saw Satan reading a book in front of the bookshelves. She smiled and slowly got up from the bed to approach Satan. The joy of seeing Satan in the same room as her again was immense and indescribable.

"Good morning, mother," Ermiane’s voice was raspy.

"Good morning, child," Satan smiled gently at Ermiane and reached out to pat on Ermiane’s head. "Did you get a nice sleep?" She asked.

"Yes, Thanks to you, mother," Ermaine nodded and closed her eyes to let Satan pat her head. "Are you going to stay with me from now on?" She asked.

Satan paused for a moment to read the last paragraph of the page while her hand still comfortably patted Ermaine’s head. Then, she gave a simple nod, but it was enough to give Ermaine the idea that Satan would leave her side again soon.

"Child, my purpose here is currently being threatened," Satan said after she read Ermaine’s thoughts. "I have been spending most of my time waiting, and I have been losing my footing because of Rasmus Blackheart. This time, I can’t let that happen again, not because of him, but because of my old friends that are currently trying to do the same and at the same time, they want to get rid of me," she explained and closed the book.

"Are we in danger? Is there anything I can do?" Ermaine asked, and she looked worried and scared, scared of losing Satan.

Satan chuckled as she put the book back on the shelf and shook her head.

"Danger?" Satan asked with her brows raised, it was the first time she had ever received concern. "Child, there’s nothing that I fear more than the will of God. So, no, we are not in danger, at least not yet," she answered.

"But, last night you were like that, mother?" Ermaine recalled the darkness that surrounded Satan.

"That’s not fear, child, that’s just my nature," Satan answered as she walked toward the window and slowly opened it to let the fresh air fill the room. "I have my own concerns, and that’s true. However, as of now, I have them currently being treated," she revealed.

(At the same time, somewhere far north of North Neva)

Lucifer and his six brethren walked throughout the snow dunes where there was no sign of life around them. Suddenly, a blizzard hit the dunes and their bodies were immediately covered in ice that threatened to bite them. They tightened their muscles and shattered the ice on their bodies. Although they possessed the bodies of Orthias that were supposed to be immune to ice, the blizzard wasn’t the act of nature, it was made to warn them.

"We came in peace," Lucifer spoke as she stared at the sky, sensing a figure that was floating beyond the dark clouds. "We are envoys of our master, and since our side and yours have agreed with peace treaty, we have no desire to do any harm, especially to disappoint our master," she added.

With those words conveyed, the blizzard suddenly calmed down and disappeared. A figure descended from the sky and landed in front of them. Lucifer, who possessed Illidan’s body and memories, she knew the Orthias in front of them was an Elder, Larc. An Orthias who possessed golden eyes, the sole survivor of those who failed to ascend to become a True Dragon but received a tiny bit power of a True Dragon.

"Speak your purpose," Larc said calmly with an impassive expression.

"We came to meet with Lady Sanya, Elder. Our master received a letter from Lady Sanya, and we are here for her, Elder," Lucifer pulled out the letter and offered it to Larc.

Larc glanced at the letter and used telekinesis to make the letter fly toward him. He opened the letter and read the content to see if what they said was the truth. When he saw the writing style, the letter was indeed written by Sanya, but the content was what bothered him the most. In the letter, it was stated that Sanya wanted them to enter the Land of Orthias.

"You will stay here until I come back. If you take even a step forward, as an Elder, I have the power to nullify the peace treaty that Lady Sanya made with you," Larc warned as he stared into Lucifer’s eyes.

"We understand," Lucifer answered without hesitation.

A mist surrounded Larc and disappeared into thin air, leaving Lucifer and his brethren in the sea of mist and snow.

Larc went straight to where the other elders gathered and he showed the letter to them. The elders immediately summoned Sanya to question her decision to bring the enemy to their homeland. It didn’t take a while for her to arrive at the chamber of the elders after they telepathically spoke to Sanya.

"What’s the meaning of this?" Koria asked as she showed the letter to Sanya.

"That? It’s an invitation," Sanya answered with her brows raised.

"Invitation? You’re inviting the enemy into our home? What for?" Vijser asked, his eyes narrowed when he stared at Sanya.

"Because I need them," Sanya answered.

The elders were mildly surprised when Sanya, the oldest among the elders, the one that nobody knew how long she had lived to say something like that. The elders looked at each other, and even if they wanted to disagree with her, she was the one who had kept Orthias alive and maintained order around the world without the humans knowing.

"What is it that you need from them?" Larc asked.

"Something that I have locked for centuries," Sanya answered.

The elders knew what Sanya meant because there was one place in the whole Orthias land that was forbidden to enter, even the elders. They had been wondering what she had hidden from them for hundreds of years.

"Can you trust them? They’re one of our enemies," Koria asked.

"I don’t need trust from them, and neither do they. We both need something in common, and that’s why I don’t mind them coming to our land," Sanya answered as she shook her head. "They already know where we live because they possess the bodies of our people. If they really wanted to kill us all, they could have done it before, but they didn’t. However, that’s not the issue, the issue is that the threat is greater than the safety of our land," she explained with a serious expression.

The elders already knew the existence of the angels and the truth that the angels were the ones that put True Dragons to extinction and the ones that they had been preparing to fight against in the future.

"If that’s the case, can you guarantee our people’s safety when you bring those people to our land?" Vijser asked.

"Of course. I won’t let them walk freely, and they won’t have a chance to even lift their fingers without my permission," Sanya answered without hesitation.

They believed what Sanya said because they had seen how powerful she was, and they didn’t know how powerful she could be because they had never seen her using all her power. They also saw that Satan herself respected Sanya for her power and managed to prevent Satan from entering the Dragon’s Maw, the place that Sanya had protected for centuries.

"Now, if we are done here, let me bring my guests here," Sanya said as she looked at the elders.

The elders could only nod and watch Sanya leave. As soon as she left, the elders notified everyone about the guests that were about to come to their land. The elders wanted them to be on guard and kept their eyes on those guests from a distance. They didn’t want anything bad to happen to them or their land, even though Sanya had assured them that she could handle the guests herself.

Lucifer and the others stayed without moving a step forward as they had promised, and then they saw a figure walking through the mist. They knew it was Sanya, and the first thing they did was to be in a defensive position because in their eyes, the amount of Mana around her was more immense than the snow dunes and the dark clouds around them.

"Did you wait long?" Sanya asked.

"No, and we never bothered to count in the first place," Lucifer answered.

"Good, now, let me take you to the place I stated in the letter," Sanya nodded and turned around.

Lucifer and the others followed Sanya from behind, and they could sense nothing but danger coming from her.

"One more thing..." Sanya paused as she stopped walking. "If you dared to do anything other than what I told, you’ll cease to exist," she warned as she looked over her shoulder.

"Understood," Lucifer nodded and stared at the coldness in Sanya’s glowing blue eyes.
