The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1611: Klaus’s Ultimate Plan

Chapter 1611: Klaus’s Ultimate Plan

"You seem rather chill for someone being summoned by a being who could command the Heavenly Dao. Aren’t you afraid?" Lady Idalie, Queen Leah’s big sister, asked, playing with the strands of her purple hair.

She had now become a True Celestial after Klaus, Atomic, and Icon worked their magic on her.

Hearing her question, Orion smiled. "Scared? Not really. Whoever that person may be, clearly, they aren’t able to enter this universe, so there is nothing to worry about."

"What if they are trying to enter this universe and need you as a vessel or medium?" Lista, Queen Leah’s daughter, asked.

As a nerd, she was a critical thinker like Klaus, and thanks to her sudden upgrade to the Supreme Stage, her mental capacity had become even stronger.

So she was able to put some things together and reached a reasonable conclusion about why Klaus had been summoned by the Celestial Supreme.

Klaus (Orion, but let’s keep Klaus for now) smiled and nodded. "I think you are spot on this time. Indeed, the only reason for me to be summoned is because of my overwhelming potential, which would certainly benefit anyone who wants to take over my soul and body.

"However, as to whether or not I am afraid, I believe welcoming that person into my soul would be great."

"Great?" Everyone gathered turned to look at each other, frowning. "How is inviting someone that powerful into your soul great?"

King Alric asked, puzzled by what Klaus had said.

"Because why wouldn’t it be great? By letting them send part of themselves, or all of themselves, they would only regret it. Plus, the whole idea is to expose the Celestial Supreme, so with Icon and Atomic by my side, he would basically be inviting me to capture all of his secrets."

None of them would ever have thought of this invitation the way Klaus did. However, they also understood that Klaus was different, so treating him as a normal person was simply wrong.

He had already done the impossible many times, so there was no telling what he would accomplish this time around.

But one thing was certain: the universe was about to be shaken over the next couple of weeks, perhaps months, and the one who would cause it all was the last person anyone would expect.

---

After two more days of travelling, Klaus arrived at the Elven Galaxy. The moment he entered, his communication device rang, and the face that appeared on it was that of an Elf.

"My name is General Lythariel, leader of the Flame Ascension Legion. I have been put in charge of the mission to liberate the Sylvaris Planetary System. You are to report to Planet Seren, where we will brief you before heading out.

"I have sent the coordinates, and I expect you to arrive by the end of the day," she said before hanging up.

Klaus looked at his watch for a few seconds and chuckled.

"For a loser who couldn’t liberate a mere planetary system from a demon, she sure is one arrogant lady," he smirked and turned to Icon.

"Have you located the Sylvaris Planetary System?"

[Yes, Master. It is located east of here. It will take two days from your current location, but only half a day from the coordinates the general had sent you.]

"Two days is fine. To keep her waiting and hoping I will come running to her would be worth it. So set the course for the Sylvaris Planetary System and crank it to top speed."

Icon had no reason to disobey Klaus, so she did as she was told, and the spaceship continued to fly through space at a terrifying speed.

A day later, his communication device beeped again, and the same Elf appeared in the projection...

"Why aren’t you on Planet Seren yet?"

Klaus smirked and answered, "Why the rush? You losers couldn’t liberate the planet for months, so what makes you think you have any justification to rush me? Or are you saying I came here because of your mercy?"

She frowned and was about to say something when Klaus cut her off...

"Better correct your attitude before calling me next time, or else I will turn around and leave. I am not being paid enough for such a high-risk mission."

Klaus hung up the call, causing the arrogant general to grit her teeth in anger.

She clenched her fist and nearly pounded the table. Luckily for her, she managed to rein in her emotions before that could happen.

Three hours later, she called again, this time with a much softer attitude.

"I have already assembled a team to aid you in the mission. Once you reach Planet Seren, I will introduce you to them and then plan with you how best to handle the mission. There are innocent lives at risk, so we should work together to ensure this mission is a success."

Klaus stared her straight in the eye for a few minutes before nodding.

"Much better. However, I don’t need a team. I just need details on all the planets and the precise location of the demon leader. I will handle the rest."

General Lythariel frowned upon hearing Klaus’s words. "What is that supposed to mean?" she asked.

"Exactly like you heard it. I am more than enough to kill all 85,000 demon warriors, including their leader, so just send me the details I want, and I will be on my way.

"Of course, if you still want to watch, you are welcome to come and spectate. I don’t mind having a bunch of Elven warriors cheering for me from the sidelines."

This time, the expression on General Lythariel’s face darkened. Clearly, she was offended, and even more infuriating was that, before she could say anything, Klaus hung up the call.

"BASTARD!"

Her furious tone, carried by her Universal God-level powers, caused space to tremble, forcing many immortal Elves in her legion to drop to their knees.

She was one of the most accomplished warriors in the Elven Galaxy. Many respected her, and even the Elven Empress held her in high regard.

So, for a mere True Immortal to be arrogant before her, she felt insulted. Aside from that, Klaus was merely a human, a being most Elves considered lowlifes.

Just thinking about it made her seethe with great anger. Suddenly, two Elves, a male and a female, entered the room.

"General, what is wrong?" the male asked, seeing that their general was in a bad mood.

"Order the warriors. We are departing for the Sylvaris Planetary System. I will take the lead, and you two should lead them after."

"Okay, General," they bowed and walked out to convey her orders.

"Renegade Hunter, just wait. I will put you in your place," she gritted her teeth and then left the room. Soon, her spaceship took off and started speeding toward the Sylvaris Planetary System.

Klaus had disrespected her, and so she wanted to make sure he understood the difference between an Elf and a lowborn human who didn’t even qualify to be her servant.

Only if she knew what awaited her at the borders of the Sylvaris Planetary System.
