The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse
Chapter 1779: Return of the Asura Race (6)
Queenie formed a hand seal, and three drops of her blood essence appeared.
As an Asura, extracting three drops of her blood essence doesn’t pose any risk to her life. So she brought them closer to the three ladies.
"Swallow this and allow the blood to unlock the doors inside your soul seas. The moment that happens, you three will undergo a transformation that, if the heavens don’t succeed in stopping it, will make you three Fates of the Asura Race.
Once that happens, you will have the power to open the gateway and guide the Asura race back to the universe."
They nodded, looked at each other, swallowed the blood essence and sat in a lotus posture. Queenie also sat down and began guiding her blood essence through their bodies, down into their soul seas.
The sky began to darken, a clear sign that the heavens were sensing the anomaly and responding to it.
"Get ready, ladies. We cannot allow the heavens to have the upper hand," Miriam said, and they all nodded.
Just then, Hunter appeared on the scene, holding the blood essence Queenie asked him to bring. Klaus’s five uncles flanked him; they were each ready and pumped for the battle ahead of them.
Hunter looked at the clouds that had started to darken and smirked... "They sure don’t know when to stop, do they?"
"It appears they don’t," Uncle Ziggy replied, his revolver sheathed at his side.
They all had no plans to underestimate the heavens, so they were ready to fight to the death.

[Miniature Universe]
Meanwhile, somewhere far away, inside a miniature universe, a lady with long, flowing white hair stood before a tall, large statue.
This lady is Sisna, the High Priestess of the Asura race. She is also Queenie’s baby sister from the Blood Era and the only lady whom she had allowed near the Asura King.
Years before the annihilation of the Asura race, she had foreseen everything, and so she revealed it to Queenie, who made sure what she had foreseen came to pass, but on their own terms.
Over the years that the Asura race had spent time in this miniature universe, she had guided them, and now, as she watched cracks begin to appear in the statue, a smile spread across her face.
She turned to a man who seemed to be in his late 50s, but with a strong physique and crimson eyes that screamed danger.
His name is Baka, the first Asura King and Queenie’s father.
He was the Asura King from the latter part of the Primordial Era through the Divine Era, when they revealed themselves during the Divine War, until Klaus replaced him during the Blood Era.
"Father, assemble the army... The time for us to go back home has arrived."
Baka nodded and teleported away.
After Klaus replaced him as the Asura King, he became the leader of the Blood Legion, a special unit in the Asura Race that specialises in a lethal form of warfare. The Heavens Court experienced firsthand during the Blood Era what the Blood Legion was capable of.
They are very dangerous, and Baka was the one who hand-picked and trained them. His men call him the Blood General.
After Baka left, Zila, Sisna’s mother, approached her daughter... "She is coming, huh?"
"Yes, Mother. Big Sister is coming to get us," Sisna replied, a smile spreading across her face.
Beside them, two identical twins also wore smiles. They each have the aura of a Pseudo-Primordial, matching their sister Sisna. However, compared to their mother, who is also a Pseudo-Primordial, they pale in terms of blood qi density.
"Big sister is coming to get us... she really is coming," the one named Beno said, practically beaming with joy. They were born in this miniature universe, so they never got to meet their sister, who they have heard is very brave and powerful.
Over the years, they had wished to see her and perhaps go on adventures with her. Now, their dreams might just come true since Queenie is coming, and there is nothing under and above the heavens that will stop her.
"Yes, your big sister is coming. However, there will be danger, so you two better be ready to fight when the time comes."
"Yes, Mother."
"We will be ready when the time comes, Mother," the other twin, Bena, said, knowing that when it comes to their family, they don’t shy away from blood.

[Somewhere else]
Inside a large hall, somewhere far from the Primus Universe, sat six Primordials, each a seasoned warrior. If Klaus were present, he would recognise these people, for he fought side by side with them before.
During the Primordial Era, when the Void Beast arrived, seven powerful families, known as the Seven Ancient Families, fought side by side with the universe warriors.
However, six of them only participated during the first wave of the battle. When the second wave came, they were nowhere to be seen.
Only the Zorvian Ancient Family remained.
Later, when Paragon investigated, he discovered that these six ancient families had retreated into miniature universes they had discovered years earlier. With them gone and hidden from sight, they were able to protect their kind, leaving the universe to its fate.
Paragon would later discover that these ancient families have lineages dating back to the Third Reincarnation Cycle, and so they preserved their lives and prepared for what they claimed was their true mission.
They left the universe to cater for itself
Paragon hated them for that, but he was powerless to stop them since he didn’t even know where to look.
Today, the six of them meet again, and it isn’t to drink and catch up.
Lord Tikkun, the Patriarch of the Tikkun Ancient Family, spoke, "I know you all can sense the dangers coming. A very long time ago, we made the decision to stop the return of the abominational race. I hope you all are ready, or do I have to remind you what will happen if they are allowed entry back into this universe?"
A man with green hair and pointed canines smirked. "You don’t have to tell us what we already know, Tikkun. The Asura Race must not be allowed to live."
