Chapter 1801: Return of the Asura Race (28)

[Somewhere in the Titan Galaxy]

"WHAT THE FUCK!"

The Titan Emperor slammed his palm against the armrest of his throne, his 7’8" tall body rising from the majestic throne he was seated on.

Looks of astonishment, shock, anger, and envy were visible in his eyes.

He had just seen a Titan he’d seen for the second time in less than a month do the impossible.

A few weeks back, after the battle against the Nine Deadly Omens, the video that was released featured some key moments when Danny used his Titan bloodline to fight.

When the video reached the Titan Emperor, he was taken aback that one of his own people had sided with the Paragon. While in the past, they had fought side by side with him, they never truly declared their support for him, aside from a few others.

At that time, the sitting Titan Emperor was among the few who aided the Paragon, leading to the Heavens Court attacking them and forcing them to go into hiding.

Since then, the succession of the Titan Emperor had always been determined by who was the strongest among them.

He was the 5th Titan Emperor after the Blood Era.

None of them had that Titan Emperor bloodline, so they couldn’t use the [Descent of Thy Judgement], a technique only the true Emperor could use. This information remained a secret within their family, known only to him and the high-ranking elders.

Before he became the Emperor, it was revealed to him that there existed a technique in their race that only the true Titan Emperor could use.

They warned him that when the day came when someone used that technique, he must do the needful and hand over the throne to them, for they were from the direct bloodline of the true Titan Emperor.

Today, he had seen someone use it, and while he would have loved to deny it, just as he was about to summon someone to call the elders, all seven appeared inside his throne room.

They said nothing, but he could see in their eyes that they all wanted him to do the right thing and hand over the crown.

They were there when the Titan Emperor left for the Divine War. They fought side by side with him. Then, later, when he left to aid the Asura Race, they also went with him.

All seven of them were there when he gave his life to ensure they returned to safety and carried out his backup plan of hiding their race for an era.

Before Danny died, he told them he would be back one day.

So, while they supported the other emperors, they had been waiting for him. Today, he revealed his return by using the [Descent of Thy Judgement] to kill a Primordial.

Because of that loyalty they have for the True Titan Emperor, they would not let this ambitious man try to cover this up and keep the throne for himself.

So they came as fast as they could.

"How long would it take us to get to the Chaos Cave?" the Titan Emperor asked, knowing that if he was about to lose his throne, he might as well go out doing the right thing, which was fighting for the honour of the True Titan Emperor and the Paragon, who was destined to be the pillar of this universe.

"If we fly using our X-Class spaceship, it will take four and a half hours at top speed. That would be too late, judging by the intensity of the battle.

However, the portals that transported the Elves are still open, so if we can get to the Elven Capital, we can go through that portal, which will cut our journey by a whole lot," answered one of the seven elders.

"How long would that take?"

"Less than 30 minutes, my lord."

"Then we have to leave in the next five minutes. Gather 500 elite Titans. They will be going with us."

The elders bowed and left. They knew they had to at least be there for their True Emperor.

After they left, the current Emperor let out a deep sigh and sat down on the throne one last time. "Well, I do hope he doesn’t take offense that we joined the Heavens Court after how things ended during the Blood Era."

Somewhere else, the Phoenix Empress looked at a video of Kay unleashing one arrow after another. On his back were large phoenix wings, and the ring of flames burning around him had golden patterns in it.

That was a clear indication of just how pure his bloodline was. Although he was a hybrid, a true phoenix can be recognised by the purity of its flames.

When he fought against the Nine Deadly Omens, he didn’t use his phoenix abilities. However, against a Primordial, he had to, and so he did.

Now, watching his battle on replay, the Phoenix Empress could only stare at him in a daze.

"I may be wrong, but he looks exactly like that mysterious archer whom my mother never stopped speaking of almost every single day."

She smiled slightly and focused more on Kay’s face. After a few minutes of staring, she smiled, left her room, and flew into the sky. Before long, she was outside the planet.

She transformed into a large phoenix and flew in the direction of the Elven Galaxy, where, just like the Titans, she also wanted to use the portal that led to the Chaos Cave, where Klaus and his people were currently fighting against the Chaos Beasts.

If she got there, she could summon her people by using the power of her bloodline to open portals. That was one unique thing about phoenixes.

Time slowly continued to pass, yet no matter what strings Axarax pulled, Klaus always found a counter. There were still five minutes on the clock before the gate opened.

Klaus had managed to keep the Chaos Beasts at bay even when their numbers had far exceeded a million beasts.

This was a clear indication that if not for the reinforcements his Star Lights had managed to call, things would have ended badly for them.

Even now, he knew that when the Asura Race came, the battle wouldn’t just end. However, he trusted and hoped they would be able to endure to the very end.

"AUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOO!"

Suddenly, an Alpha Wolf’s howl came from somewhere on the battlefield, causing Klaus and many others to turn and look.
