Chapter 210: 210: Tianhe Empire!

Tianhe Empire — Azurecrest City.

Qin Family:

The Qin Family was currently holding a martial competition between the Main House and the Branch House.

The competition had attracted many members of the family, with the younger generation taking turns stepping onto the martial arena to prove their strength.

At the highest seat of the viewing platform, Qin Tianyu, the current head of the Qin Family, watched the matches with clear interest.

His expression remained calm as another young disciple from the Main House defeated his opponent from the Branch House.

Several elders around him nodded in satisfaction, while Qin Tianyu leaned slightly forward, carefully observing the movements of the younger generation.

Just as the next match was about to begin, an elderly Qin Family elder hurried toward the viewing platform.

He stopped beside Qin Tianyu and leaned down.

After whispering a few words into the family head’s ear, the elder immediately stepped back.

Qin Tianyu’s relaxed expression vanished.

His eyes widened slightly.

Without saying another word, he abruptly stood up from his seat.

The surrounding elders stared at him in surprise.

"Family Head?"

Qin Tianyu ignored the questioning gazes.

His eyes turned toward the distant horizon, and a solemn expression appeared on his face.

"Prepare the fastest flying boat."

His voice carried a rare urgency.

"We are leaving immediately."

The elders exchanged confused looks.

None of them understood what had happened, but Qin Tianyu’s expression made it clear that the matter was serious.

They immediately stopped asking questions.

"Put the competition on hold."

One of the elders quickly turned toward the martial arena and gave the order.

The ongoing match was halted, leaving the younger disciples standing there with confused expressions.

At the same time, the Qin Family began moving into action.

Several elders hurried away from the viewing platform, while the family servants were ordered to prepare supplies and summon the family’s fastest flying boat.

The lively atmosphere surrounding the martial competition quickly disappeared.

Within moments, the entire Qin Family had fallen into a state of hurried preparation.

The younger disciples could only watch as the elders moved around with solemn expressions.

"What happened?"

"I don’t know. Did something happen to the family?"

"Why did the Family Head suddenly leave?"

Whispers spread through the crowd however, no one had an answer.

Far away from the Qin Family, deep within the heart of the Tianhe Empire, the atmosphere inside the Imperial Palace was equally unusual.

Upon the highest throne of the grand imperial hall sat Emperor Tian Cangyu, his expression calm as he waited patiently.

Beside him stood his beloved daughter, Princess Tian Lianhua.

She gently placed her hands upon her father’s shoulders and began massaging them.

"Father, is the Western Continent visiting us?" she asked softly.

Tian Cangyu relaxed under his daughter’s gentle massage, and a warm smile appeared on his face.

"Yes, Princess."

He lightly closed his eyes, clearly enjoying the rare moment of comfort.

"You are so beautiful when you behave this well."

Lianhua giggled softly.

Tian Cangyu opened his eyes again and looked toward the distant palace doors.

"I have no intention of waging war against their continent just yet so please be on your best behaviour."

His tone remained gentle, but there was an unmistakable authority hidden beneath his words.

After all, the man sitting upon the imperial throne was no ordinary emperor.

Tian Cangyu was the Emperor who had united the entire Eastern Continent beneath his rule.

He had conquered kingdoms, subdued powerful forces, and forced countless rulers to acknowledge the authority of the Tianhe Empire.

Some kingdoms had surrendered after witnessing his strength.

Others had chosen loyalty rather than destruction.

Either way, the result was the same.

Across the vast Eastern Continent, kings and rulers now bowed their heads to the Tianhe Empire.

And the man responsible for creating that order was currently sitting comfortably upon his throne, enjoying his daughter’s massage while waiting for the Western Continent guest.

Lianhua immediately stopped massaging his shoulders.

Her eyes widened in shock, and she placed a hand against her chest as though she had just heard something utterly unbelievable.

"Father, what do you mean?"

She stared at him with an exaggerated expression of innocence.

"I am always on my best behaviour."

Tian Cangyu glanced at her from the corner of his eye which translates into:I do not buy that bullshit.

"Drop the act."

Lianhua immediately giggled.

"But Father," she said, returning to her massage, "they’re the ones who become lustful and lose control. There is no way I am going to sit there quietly if they harass me, you know."

Tian Cangyu sighed.

He could not even deny that argument.

His daughter was indeed the most beautiful woman in the entire Eastern Continent.

It was precisely because of that beauty that he had already dealt with more than a few troublesome young masters who had forgotten their manners.

"Sometimes, I really wish your mother was the one sitting here and lecturing you instead."

Lianhua laughed.

"Are you sure you wouldn’t regret that?"

Tian Cangyu raised an eyebrow.

"Mother is a fighting maniac. If I inherited even a little bit of her desire for fighting..."

Lianhua stopped, not finishing her sentence.

She did not need to as the meaning behind her words was already obvious.

Tian Cangyu sighed again.

Both mother and daughter were troublesome.

Unfortunately, those two were not the only source of his headaches.

There were also a few elders within the imperial family who had actually suggested that he take another wife and try for a son.

Every time he remembered their suggestions, he felt another headache coming.

"You’re only beautiful when you don’t talk," Tian Cangyu said with a helpless sigh.

Lianhua immediately clapped her hands together, "Father, you should also say that to mother when she gets back."

Tian Cangyu fell silent.

He understood there was no way he was going to win with her, so he decided to change the subject instead.

"Where did your mother go anyway?" he asked, his expression turning slightly helpless.

Lianhua tilted her head slightly. "Mother? She told me she wanted to visit the Loushi Kingdom."

"Loushi Kingdom?" Tian Cangyu frowned.

"Yes," Lianhua replied with a nod. "Apparently, there is someone there who received the acknowledgement of the Whale People."

"The Whale People?" Tian Cangyu’s expression immediately turned skeptical as he shook his head. "They’re clearly lying."

"I thought the same," Lianhua admitted with a small nod before shrugging and continuing.

"But Mother said it doesn’t matter. She still intends to have a spar with this rumoured person."

Tian Cangyu slowly closed his eyes and rubbed his forehead.

Of course. That was exactly the kind of answer he should have expected from his wife.
