"For my wife! I'm heading out first, brothers!"

A Lizardman whose ID was "Gale Wings" let out a roar, dropped to all fours, and burst out with astonishing speed, shooting off like a runaway motorcycle.

"Holy shit! Why the hell are your legs that long?!"

The Players behind him instantly exploded into an uproar.

"That's cheating!"

"Damn it, don't pull my tail!"

The Lizardmen's "all kinds of crazy" racial traits were put on full display at this moment.

Every Player's randomly generated Lizardman was different; even the "stamina bar" tied to diet varied quite a bit.

The niche Lizardmen who rolled herbivore traits had slightly weaker explosive power, but clearly much better endurance, and quickly took the lead in the long-distance run. In contrast, the carnivorous lizards who excelled at bursts of speed soon fell behind in the marathon, panting hard.

As for those wild Lizardmen from the Southwest Swamp, when they saw the Dragon Descendants all running north, they had no idea what they were running for, but they still swarmed off in the same direction.

The Campbell Castle garrison breathed a sigh of relief.

They had almost pushed the cannons up onto the walls, but now it looked like this bunch really were allies, so they could push the cannons back down…

Just as this herd of beasts was kicking up clouds of dust, sprinting madly toward the northern front of the Spinor Earl's Domain, Mr. Sak Jifeng, heading north by carriage, finally arrived calmly at the northern border of the Spinor Earl's Domain.

Compared to those noisy "fake Lizardmen," this Lizardman truly from the Gana Continent showed full noble elegance… even if all that elegance was something he'd only learned from Humans after arriving in Thunder City.

The carriage wheels crunched over gravel and finally stopped in front of the main command tent in the center of the camp.

By coincidence, just as Sak Jifeng stepped down from the carriage, the Dwarf Delegation from the High Mountain Kingdom arrived as well.

Sak had barely turned curiously to look at that group of short fellows when a rough, booming laugh rushed at him and crashed into his knees.

"Hahaha! Look who's here!"

The newcomer was the envoy of the High Mountain Kingdom, Alek Earth!

This stocky Dwarf messenger looked like a beer barrel that had grown a beard, his ruddy nose poking out of a bunch of braided whiskers.

The moment he saw Sak Jifeng, he acted like he'd just found a long-lost blood brother, and without another word gave Sak's thigh a bone-crushing bear hug.

"Welcome! A warm welcome! I knew it—in this darkest hour, the Dwarves' First Epoch old friends, the great Dragon God's people would never be absent! Welcome back to this ancient land! We've missed you so much it hurts!"

Sak Jifeng, almost knocked over, was completely dumbfounded.

Although he was the Gutaf Kingdom's Messenger, his brain was mush when it came to that so-called First Epoch history.

Honestly, he hadn't even known his ancestors had been here; the Wind Roar Tribe's murals never mentioned any of this.

But remembering the task Lord Demon King had given him, Sak still cleared his throat, straightened his rumpled pants, and put on a deep, nostalgic expression.

"Ahem… of course, Mr. Alek. The ancient covenant is etched into our blood. Though time flows on, our friendship, like the Sun Step Mountain Range, will never wither away with the years."

Luckily, this enthusiastic Dwarf friend didn't decide to say "then let me test you," and just kept laughing happily.

He let go and instead started enthusiastically slapping Sak's scale-covered thigh, loudly praising his wide wings and thick, powerful tail—one look and you could tell he was a fine fellow who could tear Griffins apart in the sky.

This over-the-top enthusiasm actually made Sak Jifeng feel a little embarrassed.

Who said Dwarves were all stodgy, stubborn rock-heads?

This guy's mouth was even slicker than a Human Minstrel's!

What Mr. Sak didn't know was that this beard-long-enough-to-braid fellow was actually even more embarrassed than he was.

Mr. Alek was only this warm because the Dwarven stone tablets said that the Dragon God's people loved fluffy things the most.

For the Future of the High Mountain Kingdom, he had set aside Dwarven reserve and was gritting his teeth and going all in!

Who could have guessed that the Dragon God's people would be so sloppy they'd already forgotten all the preferences they'd learned from the Dragon God.

While the two of them were each curling their toes in embarrassment, the flap of the command tent suddenly lifted, and Duke Edward stepped out.

He was dressed in full battle gear, a contagiously warm smile on his face, and he naturally walked between the two, placing a hand on each Alien Race envoy's shoulder.

"Welcome, Alek Earth of the High Mountain Kingdom, and Mr. Sak Jifeng! For us to gather here at this moment of life-and-death crisis must surely be the will of the gods!"

He very deftly avoided using the word Saint Sis, instead choosing a term often mentioned in the First Epoch, pulling the two a little closer together.

Seeing Duke Edward coming toward them, Alek Earth finally spared the toe-curling Mr. Sak. He nodded excitedly, his bushy beard shaking violently with the motion.

"Exactly, Your Majesty of Campbell! We've long heard what those damned rats have been doing in their tunnels! They've actually been treating our Human brothers like livestock—such utterly heartless behavior is absolutely vile! This time we must join forces and settle this once and for all!"
