At that moment, Silas arrived on horseback, looking clearly annoyed.

"Liam, move! Why are you standing—"

He didn’t finish his sentence before his eyes landed on Moon and the others.

Silas leaned forward on his horse, tilting his head as if examining something filthy.

"Oh, I almost didn’t recognize you. Without your pack marks and proper clothes, you look even more pathetic than before. What are you doing here at West Grand Plaza?"

His gaze flicked between Axe, Ugo, and Nox before settling on Moon.

"Still following this little thing around like dogs?"

Silas glanced at the long line of waiting caravans, his gaze finally settling on Levi’s merchant group. His lips curled into a mocking smile.

"So, you really are hiding inside Elysian’s caravan, I see...?" he asked.

"But why did you come here? Don’t embarrass Father anymore. You’ve already made him lose face before the council." His brows knitted together.

"Go back to the pack and wait for Father. He will forgive you," he added, directing his final words at his defective brothers.

"Are you daydreaming, Silas? Then keep dreaming inside your broken carriage. Don’t expect us to join you," Nox retorted.

He pushed through the crowd, and the others walked past Liam and Silas without another word.

Liam watched their backs before turning to Silas with a scowl.

"Why didn’t you stop them?"

"They’re with Elysian. Do you want to clash with them here?" Silas snorted. "Don’t do anything foolish. We came here for admission, not to catch thieves."

With that, Silas turned and rode back.

He was already irritated by how rudely the checkpoint guards had treated them.

They wouldn’t even let Vaelis Pack pass smoothly and insisted on making them wait.

Liam watched as the caravan passed through the entrance, followed by the carriage his defective brothers had entered.

"Damn it! How can those beggars get through before us?" he grumbled before storming back to his carriage.

Silas quietly instructed his servant, "Follow their caravan. Check whether Leo and Rio really died."

Then he urged his horse forward and rode to the front to see whether their line had been cleared.

He was somewhat pleased that Leo wasn’t there.

Of all the people in the pack, Leo had always been his biggest threat. People often compared the two of them and said Leo might eventually inherit the Alpha position.

But now, Leo had supposedly died of poison.

Silas was pleased by the thought, but he still needed to make sure.

On his way back to the carriage, Moon’s face was grim.

Ugo noticed his expression and asked in a low voice, "Are you worried?"

Moon shook his head. "No. Do our clothes look that improper? He just mocked us for what we’re wearing."

He glanced around and only then realized that they did look a little out of place.

All around them, people wore glamorous floral skirts paired with elegant mantles and fur cloaks draped over their shoulders.

Some women wore stylish, laced corsets matched with bell sleeves.

Their circlets and chokers glistened in the moonlight.

The men were no less impressive than the women. Silas, in particular, had been quite eye-catching.

His star- and moon-shaped shoulder clasps, along with the short, jagged mantle hanging loosely down his back, gave his silk tunic an undeniably expensive look.

Even his trousers and boots were made of fine leather and polished materials.

Moon had to admit that, despite the earlier argument and tension, he was rather interested in their attire.

He couldn’t help noticing that his own long-sleeved robe looked rather old-fashioned here.

Seeing Moon’s furrowed brows and tense expression, Ugo’s lips twitched.

’Is he really that concerned about his appearance?’ he wondered.

Axe chuckled from the side.

"Want something like that? You can find it in the market here. Malong doesn’t usually sell such luxurious things because it’s mainly a place for people who want to hide. They focus on durability rather than glamour. But there will be plenty of merchants in this plaza. Maybe even some of the merchants in this caravan have those clothes and accessories. They’re here to sell, after all."

Moon nodded and climbed into the carriage, where he found Levi still sitting comfortably.

This man really is a lazy bum who rarely wants to move.

As they settled into their seats, Moon remained deep in thought.

Just because Axe said he could buy something didn’t mean he actually could. He needed siki for that.

He still had the sikimon stones he had obtained from Vadira, but he didn’t want to spend them on clothes.

He needed to buy herbs and materials for his practice so he could improve quickly.

Lost in thought, he barely noticed when the carriage stopped in front of an inn.

They all stepped out.

Moon looked up at the imposing building.

It was constructed from obsidian stone and topped with a deep-green, pointed tiled roof.

It looked more like a witch’s hat than a wolf’s den. There was a pearl-shaped lantern hanging from the roof edge.

Maybe for the upcoming event, the roof tile was decorated with countless mini star lights.

A servant stepped forward and led Levi inside.

"We’ll head back first," Axe said.

They wouldn’t stay here. This was one of the most expensive inns rented by the Elysian Pack.

Levi, however, blocked their way.

"Aren’t you forgetting something, dear friend?" He raised his brows.

"What?" Axe asked in confusion.

"My payment. This journey alone cost 60,000 siki for six people. But since we’re friends, I’ll give you a fifty percent discount."

"Fuck! Are you robbing us? Who asked for your ride? You were the one who offered it!" Nox immediately jumped up.

After Nox refused to give the formula, Levi had never mentioned charging them for the journey again.

"Are you an idiot? Why would I give you a ride without making a profit? Come inside. Let’s not discuss this out here."

Levi turned and walked in, while his guards practically chased them inside, as though afraid they might run away without paying.

Nox swore nonstop under his breath as they followed.

Ugo shook his head. "You should have made things clear first."
