"You really are stubborn, huh? Let me guess. Is this the first weapon you’ve finished? Do you want to gift it to someone?"

Axe’s neck suddenly turned deep red.

His eyes darted around uncomfortably.

’Fuck! This old man has revealed my secret! How am I supposed to surprise my wife tomorrow on the full moon? My big plan is ruined!’

"I’m not selling anything to you," he growled.

Seeing him like this, the man finally gave up and sighed.

"Find me at the North Willow Inn. I’ll wait for you."

He handed Axe a stone and left.

Axe looked at the stone.

On its white surface was a small mark depicting a translucent white crystal glove, with a golden frame winding around it.

He looked at the figure walking away, and his expression became complicated.

"What?" Moon asked.

"He’s from Moonveil Academy. Probably a master there, or someone of even higher standing."

Ugo came closer and placed a hand on Axe’s shoulder. He took the stone and examined it carefully.

"Why would they want to buy your machete? They have more outstanding weapons. What did you attach to it?"

Axe shrugged.

"How would I know? I just tried some elemental essence and bloodstone. Oh, and some nightshade..."

"Fuck! Why did you take out something containing Nightshade Gold?" Nox cursed from the side.

"As if you’re any better! Why did you take out that bracelet? It wasn’t part of our plan!" Axe retorted.

"Shhh... Let’s sell everything quickly and leave," Moon urged.

They put the matter aside for the time being and welcomed their customers.

They first turned away anyone who wanted to buy the bracelet or Axe’s personal machete.

However, since people had become interested in their goods, they still bought the other items.

Many were curious about the strange array plates and weapons displayed on the tables.

Axe lifted one of the machetes and explained.

"The twin machetes are for close combat."

Then he pointed toward the metal boots.

"This pair of metal boots can increase your speed and make your leaps twice as effective. Don’t be fooled by their ordinary appearance. The fine silver lines running across the soles are made from pure stardust from the Starlone Ore..."

"Speed Iron Boots," Axe announced in a deep voice.

"The metal is tempered with residual Gengjin energy. Even the claws of a mid-rank beast will find it difficult to pierce them."

Then he took out a pair of black leather gloves that looked a little thicker than normal.

When he flexed his fingers, thin, sharp blades slid out from the fingertips with a soft metallic sound.

"Hidden Bladed Finger Gauntlets," he murmured.

Next, he pointed to the single-edged blade. It was wide and thick, with a slightly curved edge. Even while it lay on the table, the air around it seemed heavy.

"Heavy Cleaving Blade."

"One clean strike can cut through dire beast bones."

He placed the items back on the cloth and let the customers examine their weight.

Meanwhile, Ugo had arranged his medicinal herbs into neat bundles.

He displayed the rare poison-cleansing herb beside jars containing refined beast-cores.

There were also some beaks and bones, along with some strange black meat.

"This herb can help neutralize certain poisons and accelerate blood circulation. Combined with the correct beast-core, it can improve the effect," he explained.

Then he chuckled.

"But this only applies to the area around the gorge. Don’t go inside the gorge and die cursing me."

"Damn! You know how to raise our hopes only to push us back down," a young man complained, having already been tempted by the goods.

Though he wasn’t being malicious.

Others burst into laughter.

"Bao’er was daydreaming about getting Moon’s Tear!" someone teased.

A few shop owners came over and bought the materials wholesale.

Since they were medicinal ingredients, Ugo didn’t want to keep them there for too long, either. Those shop owners could sell them to healers later.

Nox was already busy selling his little array plates for scent masking, tent protection alarms, and sound masking. These were all useful for travelers.

Axe had attracted several weapon enthusiasts, while Ugo was negotiating with two herb merchants.

Moon sat back on his stool, suddenly feeling a little lonely, so he started counting the siki.

Perhaps he could even open a proper shop.

A shop selling weapons, defensive artifacts, medicinal pills, herbs, and all kinds of inventions.

He could already see the siki flowing into his pouch.

Wonderful.

Absolutely wonderful.

Just as he was imagining his future fortune, Nox suddenly leaned over the table.

"Mooney, how much did we earn?"

Moon’s smile widened.

"Over three hundred thousand."

Nox grinned and whispered, "Let’s buy all the beautiful clothes this time."

Moon looked at him, his eyes crinkling with laughter.

"Yes! We’re going to look rich and prestigious on the stage.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the market...

Silas walked away without looking back.

He didn’t say a word until they entered their private inn and locked the door.

Liam followed him, still furious about what happened

His face was still dark with humiliation.

"Brother! Why did you let them get away with that? Axe actually raised a blade against you! And that Witch dared to insult you in front of everyone. We should have taught them a lesson!" he rumbled.

Silas turned around and looked at Liam with cold eyes. His forehead was throbbing with suppressed anger.

"Then why didn’t you do it yourself?"

Liam almost choked.

"I—"

"You lost a hundred thousand siki in a bet, and now you want me to help you recover your pride?" Silas snarled at him coldly.

"If you had kept your mouth shut, would any of this have happened?"

Liam’s face reddened in shame.

"But that bracelet was a trick! How could Nox possibly create something that releases Alpha pressure?"

"Didn’t you feel it?" Silas asked coldly.

Liam hesitated.

He had.

Even now, he could remember the terrifying pressure pressing him to his knees. For those few seconds, he couldn’t even lift his head.

Silas looked at his lowered head, and his anger rose.

"Then stop calling it a trick before you understand what it is."

Liam stared at him in surprise. "Brother, you don’t really believe that a defective can make something like that, do you?"

"I believe what I saw. Whether he made it himself or someone helped him is another matter."

Silas’s expression remained calm, but his thoughts were far from peaceful.
