The Mage's 5 Fated Alphas (BL)
Chapter 212: Alpha Vaelis
And as the head of the council, he felt it was such a waste to leave that man with five defective wolves.
He should bring him back into the Elysian Pack or the council.
But he knew that if he did, Moon would become a refining machine for the Alphas. Maybe even the witch community would cause trouble.
One part of him wanted to be selfish.
The other wanted to listen to his son.
In the end, his paternal instincts kicked in, and he decided to let time take its course.

Meanwhile, Alpha Vaelis, who was in the grand hall of the Vaelis Pack, was once again smashing cups and plates in anger.
Alphas usually didn’t leave their packs.
And when people were gathering in the west, it was a great opportunity to attack and take over territory. So they remained in their own packs.
But the news he received through his communication stone made his blood boil.
Silas had sent him a message last night, along with a vague image of a machete.
It was no ordinary weapon.
Something like that could even corrode a blade crafted by the Grand Maestra herself.
The contact point on Silas’s blade had turned black, and its spirit had diminished.
What kind of weapon could do such a thing?
Alpha Vaelis’s face darkened.
’That witch!’
He should have kept that man inside his keep instead of locking him in a dungeon cell.
He had underestimated him.
He had thought Moon was merely a pretty face, someone who could be easily controlled.
But now, even a weapon made by one of those defective brothers could threaten a precious weapon crafted by the Grand Maestra.
And the worst part was that he still didn’t know what else that witch was capable of.
He clenched his fist.
Shadow Lord Ange had sent word that he had checked the cave again and had found something seriously wrong this time.
What’s more, some of the bodies were missing.
Even if the guards had died and their bodies had corroded from the poison, their bones should have been left behind. They couldn’t dissolve in such a short time.
But many of the bones were missing.
That could only mean one thing: the bodies had been taken away.
But how?
The guards had been watching the cave day and night from afar, yet they had never seen anyone enter or leave.
Meanwhile, the brothers had left Malong City.
There was only one explanation.
Those bastards had been living inside a secret realm under their control this entire time, and they could easily travel to the cave from there.
But one thing still didn’t make sense to him.
Even if it was a secret realm, there should have been only one entrance and exit. So how had they managed to get out into Malong City?
He had no idea that Moon had turned the realm into his own spatial semi-realm.
People in Monalis Celestia knew of secret realms whose entrances were controlled by academies and the council.
Such realms had fixed locations and fixed entrances.
Nothing like the Lost Realm.
Alpha Vaelis’s entire line of thought was therefore based on the wrong assumption.
He couldn’t make sense of what had happened, and with each passing day, his irritation grew.
Not to mention those traitorous shadow lords from other packs were secretly going in and out of the gorge, thinking he didn’t notice.
Each one had an ulterior motive.
All are bastards!
Things had already become difficult enough after Elysian interfered. Now he couldn’t even act openly without drawing the council’s attention.
If he sent people to capture Moon, Elysian might use it as an excuse to interfere further.
He had already lost control of too many things.
"My lord!"
A voice came from the entrance.
Beta Owen entered and looked at the broken cups scattered across the floor. He didn’t seem surprised. This was hardly the first time he had seen his Alpha in such a mood.
"Speak."
"The preparations for tonight are almost complete. The guards are waiting for further instructions."
Alpha Vaelis didn’t answer immediately. His gaze remained on the communication stone.
He had to see that weapon for himself.
And more importantly, he wanted to know what that witch was doing in West Grand Plaza.
He couldn’t afford to let this matter drag on any longer.
"Call Rivik. Tell him to prepare for a journey."
Owen raised his head.
He hesitated before asking. "Are you leaving the pack, my lord?"
Alpha Vaelis gave him a cold look. "Are you questioning me now?"
Owen lowered his head. "I don’t dare!"
Alpha Vaelis took a deep breath and looked toward the broken dishes.
"You’re staying here. Until I return, you will be in charge of the pack. Don’t allow anyone to leave without permission, and keep an eye on the border."
"Understood." Owen nodded and went back to call Rivik.
Soon, two Akhal-Teke horses galloped along the mountain trails, traveling from east to west.
Two sturdy men dressed in black rode on their backs, keeping to the shadows.
Their faces were covered, and their auras were completely concealed.
The black capes billowed behind them with each leap.
Not even the slightest trace of Alpha pressure could be sensed from them.
If they encountered no trouble along the way, they would reach West Grand Plaza before sunset.
That would leave them enough time to prepare for tomorrow’s grand event.

Inside the Lost Realm–
Moon looked at the scene blankly.
He came out of the Stardust Sanctuary directly to the place where they had landed for the first time in the Lost Realm.
That same meadow.
Yet so different!
While Moon had been busy refining pills, a small area of the Lost Realm had already been cleared.
Three wooden houses had been built, and another ten were under construction.
More than ten people were working there.
Some were clearing the ground, others were hauling wood, and a few were making doors.
One person was even cooking nearby.
Moon stared at the scene in surprise.
’This place looks even cleaner and richer than my own perch on the mountain!’
