The Mage's 5 Fated Alphas (BL)
Chapter 211: Sky Mirror
No one was there.
But they didn’t need Lupine now, so they simply chose to do their own work.
For the first time in a while, the three brothers came closer and put aside their earlier conflicts.
Axe spread out the items he had bought, then took out a pair of finger gauntlets.
This one was different from the one they had sold.
It was beautiful, with white leather and silver lining. The five finger rings were also smooth and soft.
He placed needles inside as the attack mechanism. Then he took them out and coated them with tranquilizer.
Nox’s brows twitched.
By now, he could already guess what Axe was planning.
"You want Moon to wear this and attack us?" he almost cried.
"I-I don’t want to faint," he said with some grievance.
"It’s up to him. Rather than becoming a beast, I’d prefer to be asleep," Axe replied as he put the gauntlet aside.
He looked up and saw Nox’s upset expression. Couldn’t help teasing him a little.
"Heh! You’re still floating in a dream. Want to be a PAPA?"
"Shut up! As if you don’t have dreams?"
"Stop daydreaming. Man can’t have babies."
"Damn it, Axe, you eavesdropped!"
"You were so loud, we don’t even need to eavesdrop."
"Y–You... little!"
Ugo shook the shackle, and its metallic clinking echoed through the vault.
"What is this for? If we’re bound, I don’t think we can awaken at all. A wolf needs some free space to emerge, at least," he said.
Axe seemed deep in thought.
"That’s why I bought so many."
"This is troublesome. If you’re so worried, maybe we should just let one of Leo or Rio out to shift back and lock ourselves inside this vault," Ugo sighed.
He was also quite troubled.
He had noticed that Moon was wholeheartedly thinking about awakening them, making pills, and preparing everything.
But he seemed completely unaware of what might happen if all five wolf spirits awakened at the same time and emerged in their wolf forms.
Could Moon even handle them?
He was already so afraid of Leo licking his hand. It was clear that he was afraid of beasts.
And if five beasts suddenly pounced on him, wouldn’t he die of a heart attack?
Ugo rubbed his eyes.
"He doesn’t even know how wolves feel during their rut! If he knew, he might already have run away."
Axe chuckled, though there was no humor in it.
"Hmm. He isn’t from here after all."

While the brothers were worrying themselves to death about their own wolf nature, outside, in the Supreme Council Hall, Levi was having another argument with his father.
"I told you they have time," Levi grumbled. He was thoroughly exasperated by now.
Alpha Elysian scoffed.
"When? I checked their tokens. They still haven’t activated them."
"Maybe tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow? How? Do you think they can awaken during this full moon with only one mate? Let’s separate that boy before those defective wolves ruin him."
Levi’s frown deepened.
"No! Absolutely not. I showed you the pill not so you could abduct him, but to help him."
"Are you bribing me? The Supreme Chancellor of the Monalic Council?" Alpha Elysian sneered.
"You’re getting bold, Levi. I said he has value, and we should keep that alchemist in our own pack. This moon is strange. There were no predictions or signs beforehand, and suddenly the Grand Priestess declared that it would be a blood moon and told everyone to stay safe. I don’t want to risk an alchemist’s life with five wolves."
He paused before continuing.
"Actually, it would be best if they really are defective. But if they awaken as you assume, then I must send someone else in the alchemist’s place and keep him with me instead."
Levi stood up and glared at his father.
"Dad! He is their mate. Leave him to make his own choice! I promised them I wouldn’t betray them, and you’re not going to do anything."
Seeing that his son was genuinely angry, Alpha Elysian felt helpless.
"Levi! You never listen. You left Zenith to become a merchant, and now you’ve found such a precious alchemist, yet you still don’t see the greatness of what lies ahead.
Do you even understand that he could die with five mates? We’re talking about five, not one. It’s not as if you don’t know what wolves are like during their mating sessions."
As he spoke his vain start to pop from suppressed rage.
He couldn’t go against his son’s wish, and his son was not understanding things!
Levi fell silent.
He knew.
Of course he knew.
As an Eclipse Wolf without a mate, he knew even better how it felt.
He remained silent, even considering whether he should secretly go and keep an eye on Moon and the others.
He certainly didn’t want them to go rabid and harm each other.
But after a moment, he shook his head.
"No. I’ve thought it through. Let them be. It’s their business. My business is only trading pills."
Alpha Elysian exhaled.
Of course, he knew Levi would stick to his stubborn principles.
His son had some strange convictions, and he would probably hold on to them even if it cost him his life.
"Do what you want. But I’m keeping an eye on them. If I sense any real danger, I’ll take that alchemist away first."
"Get out of here," he said to Levi, his voice carrying utter displeasure.
After Levi left, Alpha Elysian opened the council’s Sky Mirror again.
This was something only the Supreme Council had been bestowed by the Lycan Emperor.
It could only be accessed by the three leaders of the council, who were the Alphas of the three top packs.
Through it, he could see activated tokens and, at times, locations within Monalis.
But he could only see the outside, not the interiors of houses or anything within them. It was more like looking down from the sky.
That was why it was called the Sky Mirror.
The five tokens he had specifically marked and traced remained dim.
No activation.
No wolf spirits.
Anyone who could concoct a pill to remove the Gorger’s poison had to be exceptional.
And as the head of the council, he felt it was such a waste to leave that man with five defective wolves.
He should bring him back into the Elysian Pack or the council.
