Leonhardt let out a loud howl. His howl was so powerful that it seemed to make the surrounding forest tremble.

In his golden wolf form, he stared fearlessly at the Nightfangs before him. His golden eyes carefully observed the Nightfang standing directly in front of him before shifting toward the most striking one, with its red eyes, enormous body, and gray fur.

Everyone behind Leonhardt immediately transformed into their wolf forms as soon as his howl stopped. They stood firmly behind him. Everyone, including Liliana.

"Destroy them!" Leonhardt commanded in wolf language.

Everyone responded with loud howls before charging forward to attack the Nightfangs.

The silence that had initially surrounded the forest turned into complete chaos. Each ordinary pack member faced two Nightfangs. Meanwhile, Lucien, Vincent, Cassian, and Xavier each faced four Nightfangs.

Leonhardt fearlessly confronted the strongest Nightfang among them. His golden eyes carefully followed every movement of the creature. Not a single one of them remained idle.

Roars and howls continued echoing throughout the dark, cold night in the forest. Scratches kept appearing on their bodies, increasing in number with every passing second.

Liliana wasn’t idle either. In her silver wolf form, she bravely joined the fight against the Nightfangs before her.

Slash!

A gash appeared on the body of the Nightfang she was fighting.

Liliana stood in the middle as three Nightfangs continued circling her, making her the center of their game. She dug her claws into the dew-covered grass beneath her paws. Her gaze remained fixed on the Nightfangs, trying to anticipate any sudden attacks they might launch.

The moonlight above them was the only source of illumination in the area.

Liliana let out a low growl. Her claws, which had remained still until then, finally moved when the sudden attack she had anticipated came, aiming to slash at her stomach.

Slash!

Liliana used one of the techniques Cassian had been teaching her all this time.

Thud!

One of the Nightfangs surrounding her finally retreated and collapsed after Liliana’s claws struck its eye. It howled and rolled across the ground, drawing the attention of the two Nightfangs beside it. Their eyes immediately turned toward Liliana.

Liliana growled and unconsciously took a step backward.

Now, four Nightfangs continued advancing, forcing her to keep retreating.

Liliana lowered her head, bending her body as she stared at all four of them.

"Errr..." Their growls sounded simultaneously.

Liliana blinked several times. She remembered the secret movement Mega had taught her during their last training session in the forest, when she had been trying to control her power.

She quickly opened her eyes and leaped to the side, dodging one of the Nightfang’s attacks.

Thud!

A powerful blow landed directly on the body of the Nightfang closest to her. Without stopping there, Liliana moved again. Her sharp claws quickly caught one of the Nightfangs by the head, the same creature that had attacked her moments earlier.

Slash!

A gash appeared across her silver fur.

The Nightfang growled. With all its strength, it twisted their positions until Liliana was once again pinned beneath its body.

"Liliana!"

Lucien shouted and was about to run to save her.

However, the Nightfang fighting Lucien moved quickly and blocked his path, preventing him from getting anywhere near Liliana.

Lucien frowned, staring suspiciously at the creature. Its movements seemed as though they were being controlled by someone.

The same thing wasn’t happening to Lucien alone.

Vincent, Xavier, Cassian, and even Leonhardt, who had been trying to help and approach Liliana, were also being held back by the Nightfangs surrounding them.

Liliana swallowed. She blinked several times before finally nodding.

The Silver power within her body began to stir, as though replenishing the energy she had previously exhausted.

The wind around Liliana moved slowly, seemingly gathering energy and preparing to channel it into her.

Liliana’s face, which had initially been pale, gradually regained its color. Under the watchful eyes of the surrounding Nightfangs, she swiftly reversed their positions.

Slash!!

The Nightfang’s neck was severed the moment Liliana’s sharp claws struck it.

Her movements didn’t stop there. Liliana looked around before swiftly attacking the Nightfangs surrounding her.

In just an instant, four Nightfangs lay dead beneath her paws.

Her breathing was ragged. Her silver fur was already covered in numerous blood splatters.

Liliana’s gaze eventually fell on Leonhardt, who was now facing the red-eyed Nightfang.

The Nightfang’s body was already covered in numerous deep gashes from Leonhardt’s claws. Its red eyes quickly scanned the surroundings, carefully observing everything. It then lowered its head before suddenly turning around and fleeing deeper into the forest.

Liliana ran toward Leonhardt in her wolf form. "Aren’t we going to chase it?" she asked.

Leonhardt shook his head. He let out a soft growl before his body collapsed to the side. His body quickly transformed into his human form.

Liliana froze. She immediately transformed into her human form and knelt beside Leonhardt.

"Leonhardt!"

Leonhardt’s breathing was weak. His face was pale before his eyes finally closed.

Lucien, Vincent, Cassian, Xavier, and their pack members also approached him.

Liliana cupped Leonhardt’s face and carefully rested his head on her lap.

"Leonhardt!"

She called his name again. The hand supporting his head on her lap trembled several times.

Her eyes fell on the wound over Leonhardt’s heart.

Without thinking twice, she placed her hand over the wound. A white light emerged from her palm and began spreading throughout his body.

A gentle breeze moved slowly around them before turning into a swirling vortex that enveloped both of their bodies.

Lucien and the others immediately stepped back as the wind grew faster, seemingly concealing and shielding Liliana’s actions toward Leonhardt.

The vortex spun faster and faster, so rapidly that it eventually formed a dark shield around them.

Liliana’s silver hair fluttered in the wind. She closed her eyes, then lowered her head and pressed her lips against Leonhardt’s.

"I, Liliana Draven, use my power upon my Alpha mate. Grant me permission to use my power for him."

The moon above them shone even brighter, as though pleased with what was happening.

The wind continued to blow fiercely. The surrounding trees swayed violently.

"What... what’s happening?" one of the pack members asked in panic.

Cassian stared at the perfectly formed whirlwind before him. He clenched his fingers tightly before turning his gaze elsewhere.

Lucien glanced at him for a few moments but had no intention of saying a single word.
