The Plant Master Becomes A Mute Sub-Beast: Farming And Laying Eggs
Chapter 333: The Hell Beneath Auction Island
Exactly at midnight that night, when the brilliant magic lights on the casinos of Silverport began to have sparse passersby and night fog covered thickly on the bay surface, a nearly invisible black shadow silently glided across the water surface, stopping about a hundred meters away from the steep cliff in the North of Auction Island.
Standing on a submerged reef jutting out from the wave surface, Sane used his deep purple eyes looking piercing through the thick magical fog layer currently enveloping around the island.
Exactly as Godfrey had warned beforehand, the Council of Twelve Merchant Bosses had poured not knowing how much money and wealth into this vault. The entire three-mile perimeter of Auction Island was wrapped by seven consecutive alert array layers. Only needing a seabird accidentally flying touching the fog screen or a large fish swimming close to the island foot, the alarm bell in the central watchtower would immediately ring loudly.
However, these crude magical arrays of mortals placed before a True God having once fought battles across the heavens like Sane then were no different from children’s wooden block stacking games.
Sane didn’t even need to use Purple Lightning to break the array. He only extended two fingers, tapping lightly into an extremely tiny gap where two magical energy veins of the array intersected exactly at the time the tide just ebbed.
A spatial rift as small as a hand immediately opened right next to the base of an ancient pine tree growing precariously on the cliff inside the fog screen!
Sane patted lightly onto the round head of the leopard cub currently sitting on his arm, using mental voice transmission instructing:
[Go. The communication ring has synchronized with my divine sense already, having any unexpected matter then call one sound, within half a breath I will tear this island apart to drag you out.]
[I know, thank you Daddy.]
The small body of the leopard cub Finnick took a slight momentum then darted up one bound gently like a falling leaf popping through the spatial rift, four paws having soft pink fleshy pads landing down onto the dry pine needle layer on the cliff without emitting even the slightest rustling sound.
Right at the moment setting foot onto the ground of Auction Island, Finnick’s dark green eyes immediately turned into two profound swirling vortexes.
Even though the origin Divine Energy inside his body had been sealed losing nine-tenths, but he was still the supreme Lord of all Life species and plants!
Just one thought radiating out, all the weeds, moss clinging on the cliff along with the tree root system piercing deep down into the island’s heart immediately became Finnick’s eyes and ears. A three-dimensional map detailed down to every brick under the deepest basement of Auction Island appeared completely clearly in his head.
Over fifty meters below the ground surface was a giant underground basement system consisting of three floors hollowed out straight into the rocky mountain heart of the island.
Floor one was the storehouse containing gold, silver, and ordinary auction items. Floor two was the blood-reeking laboratory where the pharmacist crowd was day and night extracting the Immortality Potion. And the third floor deepest under the seabed was exactly the prison basement area holding nearly two thousand Elf clan people!
Based on the guidance of the ancient tree root crowd piercing through the cliff, the leopard cub transformed into a blurred yellow black-spotted shadow streak, popping into a narrow ventilation shaft just fitting a fist leading straight from the mountain slope down to the bottom of the third basement floor.
The deeper going down underground, the strong reeking fresh blood smell mixed with the bleach smell and rotting musty smell rushed straight into the nose making Finnick’s small pink nose have to wrinkle tightly.
Ten minutes later, Finnick had silently landed down onto a stone beam lying hidden in the darkness on the ceiling of the third-floor prison basement area.
Looking down from high above, the scene below made all the fur on the leopard cub’s body stand straight up, the freezing cold killing intent almost froze even the stone beam under his feet!
Inside an underground rock cave as wide as a large square, hundreds of cramped iron cages were stacked piled up on top of each other along the four damp stone walls.
Inside those iron cages were nearly two thousand people belonging to the Elf clan, from white-haired old men, women skinny exposing even ribs, all the way to small children only just turning five turning six years old!
All of them were locked tightly at the wrists and ankles by a type of black iron chain having magical runes engraved. Exactly every quarter of an hour passing by, those iron chains again automatically glowed up once, drawing a certain amount of fresh blood from the wrists of the Elf people leading following the carved grooves on the stone floor flowing returning to a glass storage tank placed at the basement corner!
Four five prison guards wearing leather armor were sitting drinking wine playing cards at the stone table right next to the iron door, their mouths continuously swearing cursing:
"Motherfucker, recently the pointy-ear crowd in the Western cage row squeezing forever cannot get out a few blood drops, making this master be scolded a bout by the pharmacist crowd on the second floor for delivering missing the quota!"
"Then tomorrow tell the kitchen mixing adding blood-stimulating grass into the porridge for them to eat! Ignore their corpses living or dying whatever, as long as squeezing enough thirty fresh blood bottles before the Blood Moon Auction session opens the curtain to submit to Lord Marcos then it is fine!"
Finnick stood in the darkness on the stone beam, his green eyes looking at the prison guard crowd currently laughing and joking below like looking at corpses.
However he still remembered carefully his Papa’s instruction before leaving. If killing these prison guards right now, their life marks connected with the control center on the first floor would immediately alarm.
Finnick took a deep breath, silently moving along the stone beam entering the deepest area right in the middle of the basement.
There was a round stone pedestal lying completely separated from the iron cage rows around. Four giant black stone pillars stood erect at the four corners of the stone pedestal, on them engraved full of blood-red magical vein lines currently blinking continuously.
That was exactly the central core of the self-destruct array! Only needing one of the Twelve Merchant Bosses above to crush the control jade talisman, these four stone pillars would immediately explode, collapsing the entire rock cave ceiling for millions of tons of seawater to flood in burying alive everyone down here.
And right in the middle of those four death stone pillars, an Elf clan old woman with snow-white hair long touching the ground was being pierced through the shoulder blades by eight iron chains, suspended hanging half a thuoc away from the ground.
The old woman’s eyes had been completely blinded by people using poison, the two eye sockets only remaining two dry scars. However, even though her body was emaciated to the point of only remaining skin wrapping bones, the old woman still maintained the posture of raising her head high proudly, her cracked bleeding lips moving repeating continuously a prayer song in the ancient Elf language that people nowadays no longer anyone heard understanding:
"Oh supreme Creator of the old forest... This sinner Sylphie has failed to protect Your World Tree... If Your soul is still somewhere between heaven and earth, begging You to accept this old life as a sacrifice, only begging You to have mercy rescuing the final young shoots of the tribe..."
On the stone beam above, Finnick’s heart was as if being choked by someone.
Sylphie!
Ten thousand years ago when he was still reigning on the God of Life throne, Sylphie was only a tiny Elf little girl always persistently trailing behind his shirt flap to ask for divine dew watering the newly blooming flower buds under the World Tree base.
Yet meeting again ten thousand years later, the little girl from the old days had turned into a ruined blind old woman currently waiting for the day being cut open her chest taking her heart by the merchant crowd!
Finnick did not hesitate adding a single second more.
He lightly touched his front paw onto the red vine on his ankle, ordering in a low voice:
[Chloe, eat clean the magical energy cores inside those four self-destruct stone pillars for me. Do not leave behind even a single energy ray!]
Blood Wood Elf Chloe immediately transformed into four blood threads thin to the point the naked eye could not see, silently slithering following the crevices on the stone wall burrowing straight into the base part of the four array pillars.
For a Blood Wood Elf having evolved to the God stage level like Chloe, those few magical energy stones supplying energy for the self-destruct array of mortals were no different from crispy snacks. Within less than five minutes, the entire destructive energy inside the cores of the four pillars had been sucked completely clean by Chloe, while the red light shell layer outside the stone pillars was still maintained intact by Chloe using illusions to trick the prison guards!
Finishing neutralizing the self-destruct array, the small body of the leopard cub finally gently jumped down from the stone beam, landing right onto the stone pedestal before the face of the old woman currently being suspended hanging.
Finnick lifted one front paw up, placing his soft fleshy pad having his red vine wrapped touching lightly onto the ice-cold hand full of wounds of Grand Elder Sylphie.
A pure origin Life divine power beam from the leopard cub silently transmitted through the old woman’s fingertips.
The gasping for breath body of Grand Elder Sylphie suddenly shook violently once!
The prayer on her lips went completely silent. Even though her eyes were already blind unable to see light anymore, but being a person having once served at the feet of the God of Life throughout thousands of years in the previous era, how could she mistakenly recognize that origin aura stream having carved deeply all the way into her soul?!
Two dark red blood tear lines immediately flowed out from the two blind eye sockets of the old woman, streaming long down her wrinkled cheeks.
Her lips trembled intending to utter a calling sound, but Finnick’s warm yet majestic voice had timely rung out in her sea of consciousness:
[Sylphie, do not speak up. It is me here.]
In the sea of consciousness of the old Grand Elder rang out a choking sobbing sound like a child finding parents back after a ten-thousand-year-long nightmare:
[Lord... My Lord! You are still alive... You have truly returned to us already!]
[I have returned already. For the past thousand years you and the clan members have suffered much already.]
Finnick used his small tongue tip licking lightly across the wound on the back of the old woman’s hand, simultaneously leaving behind a tiny Blood Wood seed hiding into the palm of her hand:
[The self-destruct array under this basement has been completely destroyed by me. This seed will silently transmit life force through the ground to keep you and all the clan members in those iron cages alive. Please patiently wait adding two days more. Arriving at the day the Blood Moon Auction session opens the curtain, the time they bring you up to the auction stage before the face of the entire nobility circle of this continent, my two fathers and I will personally demand back the blood debt of the past hundred years for the Elf clan!]
